From the outside the property is spectacular, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the communal spaces well appointed. The room however was very basic, poor furniture and dated decor.

We have used this hotel on every trip, six times, it is not the Hilton and does not have those costs but, the Hilton does not have the architecture, the Hilton is also centuries younger, it is a hotel with 1st class staff, all of whom are interested in your contentment during your stay, all go out of their way to to help with any requests so, a 1st class stay is always had.

Hot, no air conditioning

Our only complaint was there is no air conditioning outside of the rooms - not in the foyer, the hallways, etc. it was VERY hot. And the a/c in the rooms was set on 86* F (30* C). If we lowered it to a cooler temp, it would only stay for a little while and would automatically increase back to the 86* F. I woke up 3 times each of the nights we stayed and turned it down just to be able to sleep comfortably. Honestly, this would prevent me from coming back.

教会の一部をホテルにした感じです。昼間は、教会に観光客が来ていました。ホテル自体は、バスタブが無かったのと、朝食に、卵系のものが無かったのが、ちょっと残念でしたが、あとは、特に問題ありませんでした。フロントも丁寧でしたし、不快なことはなく、また泊まってもいいかなと思っています。

Location over a good night's sleep

While the location was optimal for visiting Santa Croce, Scala Santa, and St. John Lateran, the beds were little more than a 2 inch mattress on squeaky metal springs. I would bring a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor for greater comfort...

Bra för övernattning i lugnt område

Häftigt boende i anslutning till någon typ av kyrka. Spartanskt inredda rum med hård säng. Endast pappmuggar fanns att dricka ur, ingen kapsyl- eller vinöppnare. Dessvärre blev jag sjuk, så för mycket tid spenderades på rummet.

Great stay

All of the staff were very friendly, efficient and welcoming. The terrace was an excellent place to have breakfast and relax after touring all day.

Wir hatten mehr erwartet von diesem Hotel. Die Rezeption sieht sehr unprofessional aus. Es sieht mehr wie ein Ersatzteillager aus. WiFi gab es nur in den öffentlichen Räumen im Hotel, aber nicht auf dem Zimmer. Frühstück was sehr bescheiden. Wenig Auswahl. Kein Obst oder etwas Gemüse. Noch nicht einmal ein gekochtes Ei konnte man bekommen. Die Betten waren so hart, dass ich Rückenschmerzen hatte jeden Morgen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Whilst our room was basic and slightly tired. It was comfortable and clean. A quirky place to stay. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the roof top can’t be missed, fab views!
