Ultra-Private Mid-Century Home

Pool Heating Included. Enjoy absolute privacy as you enter through the automatic gate to this charming and lovingly cared for mid-Century house in central Palm Springs. Built in 1958, this home has cathedral, beamed ceilings, a massive floor to ceiling rock fireplace with matching planter, double sliders that open to the completely private yard with recently redone pool, spa, firepit and outstanding mountain views. There are tasteful, mid century furnishings, including a fun cocktail bar.

The main house consists of two master suites each with private bath. There is also a detached casita with its own heat and air conditioning, mini refrigerator and private bath. All open to the pool and private yard. Uncovered, secure parking is available behind the gate in the parking area.

This home is centrally located minutes by car between the Palm Springs Airport and Downtown. THREE DAY MINIMUM STAY.

The pool is heated to 85 degrees from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and is included. We have found this to be sufficient to keep the pool at a comfortable 85 degrees during the days in the winter months. Any additional pool heating past those times will be charged at $75/day to be paid in advance for the duration of the stay. The Spa is heated to 100 degrees and is included. It is heated on demand with a remote control. Heating time for the spa is about 45 minutes.

Pets may be allowed with notice and approval. Allowable pets are restricted to dogs only. $100 pet fee may apply.

Private getaway

Four of us had a fantastic stay at what we called "the compound." Wonderfully private and quiet, great pool and hot tub, and nice to have two master bedrooms and a casita so friends could all have privacy.

Outstanding property, property manager and location

Everything at the house and the entire experience with the Property Manager was outstanding! Exceptional response to minor problems from the PM, Bob Emery. The house, pool, rooms were as pictured and described. Very clean, we gals felt safe within the gated compound, kitchen was outfitted beyond expectations. In a beautiful neighborhood, walkable, safe, quiet. Literally mintues from the airport and downtown amenities. Highly recommend this exceptional place!

What a gem!

This was the best VRBO find ever! We were so happily surprised with everything when walked in - even better than the pictures. The house is true to its authentic mid century modern roots and tastefully and comfortably decorated. Everything was extremely clean and well cared for, the kitchen is stocked to the gills, and everything worked great. We had 2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 dogs and it was the perfect size. Everyone had their own space yet there were great areas for us to be all together. The backyard is the best! Big pool, spa, fire pit, grill, lots of seating areas, gorgeous views of the mountains. Plus super close to downtown PS and grocery store, etc. Check in was a breeze and felt very good about their standards for covid safety. Weā€™ll definitely be back again - thank you for a great getaway!

Secluded Palm Springs Retreat

We spent the long weekend with friends enjoying this lovely home for some rest and relaxation. It came nicely decorated with lots of fun amenities like a lovely indoor sound system (tuned to a station playing standards from the 1940s, 1950s and1960s station which was so fitting) and streaming TVs in each room. The pool and spa area were the focus of our stay and we loved our time relaxing there. This is an incredibly quiet neighborhood so it was perfect for lounging and reading. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and came with almost everything one needs to enjoy a house for the weekend. There was ice in the ice maker (we bought some anyway) and plenty of detergent to keep the dishwasher running. We felt safe and secure behind the driveway gate. It was just a short drive to restaurants and activities for when we wanted to venture out. Jack and his home concierge Bob were responsive to questions, helpful and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Mid Century Paradise

We stayed at this lovely house for three nights in March and enjoyed every minute of it. The backyard/pool area is wonderful and the hot tub heats up quickly! The house was well equipped and we would be very happy to stay again!

Everything just as shown in pictures. Jack was great to deal with - Bob as well! House layed out perfectly around the pool deck with the firepit facing the mountains - fabulous sunsets! Easy walk to town - great location.

A great place

We had such a nice time. The property is large and secluded with electric gate. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house is charming and love that everything is vintage down to the dishes and art on the walls. The backyard is huge with a lovely new pool and at just the right temperature. The view of the mountains and palm trees is spectacular from the pool area. Did not have the need to use the separate guest house but that is a nice feature if you are staying with friends. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking. There were martini glasses chilling in the freezer. That's classy! The owner is very nice and attentive along with the property manager. I would love to come back and stay longer.

We Only Went Out for Tennis Workouts & Drills

This will be our 3rd year in a row of renting here, I host my brother & his wife from CT in the casita, my niece & her husband from LA in other suite, and my partner & I (from Northern CA) are in the Master Suite. So we can hang together yet have our privacy for rest or work or naps. We arrive, grocery shop, and then proceed to have our daily workouts 'off campus' (we call this place 'campus') and then hang out the remaining time poolside, cooking, relaxing, entertaining friends from PS for dinner since we usually grill for larger groups. We are foodies or wine lovers in our family along with Tennis Bums, and it is perfect for us to spend time together, privately, quietly (neighbors are not heard either) and we get to enjoy the music poolside with a cocktail. We are looking forward to even spending more time poolside with the recent addition of the Fire Pit and updated pool area and furniture outside. Private Gate allows us to have a sense of a 'campus' or 'compound' with extra barrier of privacy. Listing Accurate - photos accurate. Photos are accurate - Very Clean & Well Maintained. Would recommend to my friends and family - have hosted both here. Kitchen is well stocked for pots/pans for our needs. Near by Activities: Fresh & Easy - 1 block away for staples/every day food items Higher End Grocery Stores - 8 minute drive away Free Public Tennis Courts - Ruth Hardy Park - we go here daily for our daily tennis hits and workouts. (3 minute car drive) "To Pay" Tennis Courts are on Barista - 6 blocks away - Lap Swim Pool - 4 blocks away if you want to swim laps (fee) World Gym - 3 minute car ride -
