Spectacular Punta Mita, located just two-and-a-half hours from Los Angeles, three hours from San Francisco, five hours from Chicago and New York, and just 30 minutes on the new four-lane highway from the Puerto Vallarta airport, is home to the massive Four Seasons gated master community that also includes facilities by Starwood and St. Regis, two waterfront golf courses by Jack Nicklaus, and multimillion dollar villas. Surrounded on three sides by the Four Seasons and a fourth by the tranquil waters of Banderas Bay is the village of El Anclote, which features several excellent restaurants, and the sleepy village of Punta de Mita, which is home to our Cielo y Mar units in a lovely, 18-unit Condo complex.

How popular is the Punta Mita area? Despite rooms that average $1500/night, the Four Season sells out 11 months a year, and villas in the area go for up to $10,000/night. Punta Mita is particularly popular with American celebrities and politicians looking to vacation in privacy. And now that Puerto Vallarta traffic has exploded, many long time vacationers there have moved to the much more peaceful Punta Mita.

OUR CIELO Y MAR UNITS ARE RIGHT ON THE BEAUTIFUL PLAYA PUNTA MITA BEACH AT PUNTA DE MITA.


The seven-story, complex, completed in December of 2006, is right on the beach, and the terraces look directly down on the 80 foot long infinity pool and the beautiful blue tropical waters of Banderas Bay. During the winter, whales are a daily sight, and in the summer dorado can be seen cornering bait fish near the shore. The southern exposure means unparalleled views of the sun from dawn to dusk, as well as the sailboats, and the picturesque four-mile distant Tres Marietas Island natural reserve.

ALL OUR UNITS ARE TRULY RIGHT ON THE BEACH!

At high tide, the Cielo y Mar units are separated by nothing more than the unit’s gorgeous infinity pool! No matter if you are looking from inside the units or out on the terrace, all you see is the pool, the sea, and the sky! Nobody is closer to the water than us! With great surfing - there are more surf spots within one mile of our place than anywhere in Mexico, and they range in skill from absolute beginner to expert, restaurants-just a five minute walk away, swimming, beach walking, snorkeling, fishing, nature watching, and great sunsets, there is no reason to choose any other Condo.

Wow… Great property

This is our second stay and will return. One of the most Beautiful clean beaches. Superb restaurants all within walking distance. The pool is feet away overlooking the beach. Our accommodation were super!!!!!!We will return.

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo in Punta de Mita

If you want to stay right on the beach in Punta de Mita, this is your place. Spacious 2-story condo with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay in Punta de Mita. Two balconies to enjoy the views and sea breezes. Beautiful oceanfront infinity pool and direct access to the beach from the property. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this fantastic property.

Excellent property, communication and concierge assistance. We had an amazing massage and chef prepared meal in our condo that were both fabulous. the owner, Donna, was very friendly and helpful as well.

Surfing, Family and Food

Awesome pool (you can swim laps) and a hot tub which was needed after surfing. The condo was clean, safe, quiet, and very functional for our family of four. Easy walk to town and we felt very safe. The food in town was excellent. Lety the property manager was very responsive before and during the trip. We surfed local beaches just a short drive away. We would happily come again. Excellent trip to Mexico and an excellent stay.

Family time

We loved it. We were told that we would have five gallons of water for the duration of the stay but when we arrived it was just about empty and there were no trash bags for the trash cans. We bought water and a neighbor gave us a couple of trash bags. The condo was beautiful and we had a wonderful time.

Summer in MX

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Our plans were to spend only 3 nights here but with the Crowdsource bug effecting Delta we were fortunate enough to add an additional 5 nights. Mexico in the summer is HOT and the pool not so refreshing. The condo is gated and secure, views were a 10 ! I will have to state it sits on a public beach that gets utilized by families every day. We rented a golf cart that enabled us to se pretty much all of Punta Mita except what lies behind the gated zone; I don’t think we missed much there other than miles on the cart.

very enjoyable 6 weeks at Faro Real 11 in Punta de Mita

The condo is right on the beach with wonderful views, sunsets and the sound of crashing waves. The owners have 3 condos in the building and the photos on Vrbo are a mix of all three, which was confusing. Be advised if there are any mobility issues that the condo is on two floors with a very difficult spiral staircase to access the huge master bedroom. There is an elevator to this floor which wasn't working for the last three weeks of our visit. Lety, the property manager was great always available to help and her grandson Fabian greeted us and explained everything in the condo. It was an amazing 6 weeks away from the Northern cold.

Incredible stay in Punta Mita

We could not be more happy with our stay in the 2 bedroom penthouse in Punta Mita. The unit is as described directly on the beach with two large balconies overlooking the Pacific and 2 large Kings. The property was overall very nice and secure. The infinity pool is awesome and rarely more than 6-10 ppl. Kitchen had everything needed to dine in. The property manager and staff were wonderful to work with and always available if needed. The town with approx. 6-10 restaurants with spectacular ocean views was a 5-10 min walk from the property. There are also pharmacies and convenience stores there as well. My only recommendation is to be sure you are familiar with the route/path before it's dark or you could certainly get turned around. When you've done it once it's very simple. We found some of the restaurants a bit pricey and some inexpensive. But overall food to cost was what we expected. The town itself seems safe, secure and never did we feel uncomfortable with our surroundings. I would highly recommend this to family and friends and looking forward to a return trip.

Relaxing Beach Vacation

Great location on the beach. Wonderful infinity pool with cute visiting iguanas! Property manager very responsive. Our every need was met from grocery delivery, shuttles, to COVID testing. The condo is immaculate. It’s obvious that the owner and other tenants love their place and strive to keep it nice and hospitable. We had such a good time that we will be back!,

Beautiful/ Relaxing/ Fun Trip

My Husband and I were fortunate to stay at Donna's residence for one week. It's an amazing penthouse (two-stories)! The Master Bedroom was on the second floor with its own patio that had an enormous palapa that provided wonderful shade so we could sit outside during the day. The view of course was amazing as the condo faced the ocean. The location was good, just far enough from the main town so that it was quiet yet still in walking distance. We enjoyed the fact that there was a full working kitchen and laundry room. One thing we were grateful for was the 5-gallon drinking water jug that was provided. Again, we want to thank Donna for this wonderful opportunity to stay at her home. We also want to thank Lety, the property manager. Lety was very prompt in her responses to all our questions/concerns and, assisted us with the check-in and the check-out process, making it seamless. Thank you both! This condo and experience is one to remember and rent again!

Beautiful views of beach and bay

Everything was as stated. We choose two story unit because two balconies are better than one. While we’ve been in Punta de Mita before, never in July. The heat and humidity was intense and guided all activities. Fortunately, the units Air Conditioning worked perfectly, there was pool on first floor, ans bay only feet away. Wonderful!

Great views sunrise & sunset

The property was beautiful as described. Views AMAZING. Letty was kind to let us drop off our luggage & food in advance of check-in (many thanks). Restaurant across the street excellently prepared our fish from our fishing trip. Price is also good. The downtown area has great restaurants (more expensive, fabulous customer service). Exit property, head left, pass about 5 buildings, take a left down the rough cement/gravel road (not the foot path you pass 1st). You will unfortunately pass the sewer. Hang in there it is just a bit further down the road. Plenty of food options on the beach side. ATM & pharmacy also. Taxi stand is across the street. They will negotiate (they don't like to) & you can make reservations. Uber was not available. You will need to bring spices, oils, coffee & condiments. The pool lounge chairs are reserved early. The pelicans & seaguls were quite noisy but fun to watch. The lower bedroom TV is connected to Internet (bring your Neflix, etc). Great place

Spectacular Views!

This penthouse's 2 patio are Amazing! Everything is super comfortable and a perfect place to relax and not have to leave. The pool and beach are both easily accessed allowing for a spontaneous dip without having to organize a bunch of stuff. Incredible sunrises and sunsets from the balcony or pool/beach. Easy walk to all the markets and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again on our next Punta Mita visit! Thanks!!!!

Incredible View right on the beach

When you enter the 6th floor condominium and look out the full open windows to the ocean you know you are going to not miss a morning sunrise. The view is incredible. Donna's property manager Lety is one of the nicest and courteous people I have met, starting from the welcome meeting to addressing any problems you may have. The entire property is immaculate, and very well appointed. The infinity pool is a nice size for the property, and you can't beat being steps from the beach. Punta de Mita has it all from higher end restaurants to excellent street tacos's all within a short walk. The margaritas from the restaurant immediately behind the property may be the best we've ever had. We wouldn't hesitate to re book.

A wonderful vacation

When we first walked in, the view took my breath away, six large floor to ceiling window doors overlooking the infinity pool and the bay. Condo is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool is beautiful and some days we were the only ones there so no getting up early to save a place around the pool. I loved swimming in the bay. Water was warm and clean with gentle waves. Restaurants close by were some of the best I've ever experienced, most offering stunning views, especially at sunset, of the water. Our favorites were Si Sushi, Lobster Paradise, and Blue Shrimp. We definitely want to go back.

Quiet Punta da Mita is a great getaway. Stay out of Sayalita unless you want to be sick on your vacation. Followed all the rules and made no difference.

The perfect vacation

Amazing views, amazing beach, perfect location and a fantastic condo. Enjoyed every minute of our stay in this wonderful penthouse. The property manager is so helpful and made our visit very pleasant. Can't wait to go back. :)

We’ll be back! The perfect place!

We’ve been visiting the Riviera Nayarit almost annually since the late 90s. Along the way we have rented some very nice villas in some very sublime locales. However, this was our first trip to Punta de Mita, and we totally scored with this Punta Mita Penthouse. What a great surprise! First of all the location is perfect...right on the beach on the south edge of the village. Not just any beach, but a 3 mile long walking beach with gentle surf, turquoise water, lots of wildlife and a south facing aspect. There is a notable surf spot right in front and a great restaurant right out the back door across the street. Local markets and shopping are all easily accessible by foot. Second, the El Faro Real II complex where the condo is located is very well maintained and secure. We had secure storage on the beach level for our SUPs. The pool and hot tub were very well maintained and designed to appear like one was floating in the ocean below. We would float in the ocean on our boards till after sunset then retire to the hot tub to take the chill off. It was easy getting to our condo by steps or elevators that seemed always available. Third, the penthouse condo itself was very comfortable and well maintained. The linens were good and the beds comfortable...however, the view and ambience was magnificent! Our morning coffee started earlier and lasted longer with each passing day. Having such a vantage point on the ocean allowed us to see humpback whales in all directions from sunup to sundown...we all commented that we had never observed so many whales and so much activity. Truly a highlight of the trip. The owner was easy to communicate with and easy to work with. The temperatures were perfect...our ocean view windows were open 24/7. No a/c necessary. No mosquitos in March. Both the penthouse deck and main floor deck are awesome...every day...decisions, decisions...which deck should we sit on? If you planned ahead and had a larger family to accommodate you could rent other condos in the complex to meet your needs. Some of the lower floor condos with access to the pool area seemed great for young families with kids. Thanks Donna...you’ll see us again! Your place is on our top 10 list for the Riviera Nayarit..

Absolutely wonderful place to vacation

I have stayed in Punta De Mita 5 previous times and it is my favourite place to be. This time I was able to stay in Faro Real II and it is truly a wonderful condominium right on the beautiful peaceful beach. The infinity pool and the balconies are an amazing view to the beach. The 2 bedroom penthouse unit we stayed in was spacious and clean with everything you could want. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating to our requests. We were very fortunate to meet the owner while there and she is so gracious and helpful. Definitely will be back.

Wonderful Beach Condo

The condo was right on the beach with wonderful ocean views. Very roomy and comfortable. Clean and modern - very well maintained. The beach is just a few steps from the condo. The swimming pool and hot tub are beautiful. Another great feature is the easy walking access to several excellent restaurants. We loved the condo and hope to return.
