Kihei is centrally located in South Maui and is home to many condos and residential areas. Menehune Shores is located in the Hotel District which is Zoned for Short Term Rentals. The Road to Hana, Haleakala, the resorts in Wailea, the lava fields on the way to Ahihi Preserve are an easy drive from Kihei. Our building is directly on the water with beaches adjacent to our lawn. Experience paradise as you sit on your lanai with nothing but sweeping views of the azure waters of Ma'alaea Bay and the Pacific Ocean with the gentle sway of graceful palm trees in the foreground. Watch the sunset every night on our lanai or meet fellow guests and owners on the roof with a beverage and cook on the grills.

Our large, light and bright, beautifully appointed condo is situated on the 4th floor in Menehune Shores, Kihei. It features 3 large bedrooms (2 oceanfront bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with twin beds facing the imposing Haleakala volcano and the Maui sunrise) and 2 full baths. All linens and towels (bath and beach) are provided. An updated fully equipped kitchen, hairdryers, great room, 2 flat-screen TV's and separated laundry room with full sized washer and dryer -- all the comforts of home are yours as you experience the wonders of this magnificent island. We are directly on the water and generally have sea breezes that cool the condo. in addition, we have installed rolling shutters on the lanai which keep the condo cooler from the afternoon sun as well as protection from heavy rain or strong winds. The remote to operate the shutters is located on the wall by the oceanside guest bedroom. We do not have A/C and reduce our rates in the summer.

Amenities include a heated pool with gas grills and picnic tables nearby, waterfront access, shuffleboard court, and free parking (one car during high season). FYI - the POOL IS CLOSED THE WEEK AFTER LABOR DAY for annual maintenance and the nightly rental rate is reduced accordingly. The pool is OPEN for the remainder of the year after this important maintenance. There is a rooftop garden complete with gas grills and picnic tables which serves as a place to gather with others to enjoy magnificent sunsets and whale watching in the winter. If you are hosting a large gathering, a full kitchen is available to rent for your event. Menehune Shores is a very well maintained building with lush lawns and beautiful tropical plantings.

We engage Tracy Keenan as our on-island agent for our rental guests. She provides cleaning, maintenance, guest information book, and pre-rental inspection of the unit to ensure everything is in working order.
