Blue Corner Cottage is an Historic one bedroom beach house, just 5 th house from the Beach. Step outside and you can see the Gulf of America Located at 28 Glendale St in the Clearwater Cottages District.. Families have enjoyed these Beach Cottages since 1925 . Laid back large families with children and pets will have a great beach vacation. Clearwater Cottages amenities include kitchens featuring, granite counter tops, Samsung Stainless Steel full size refrigerator, glass top stove, microwave, and all kitchen utensils.
Shared Key West style back yard has wood party deck , Tin Roof Gazebo, Weber BBQ grills, Large shade trees and tropical plants. Guest love to gather in the fence yard after a day at the beach. Children make new friends and parents can watch children from the cottages. Like going to camp at the beach.

Make a cup of coffee in the full size kitchen and just walk down the block and enjoy the morning surf. At night, take a cold drink out of your full size refrigerator, and take our coolers and beach chairs down to the beach to watch the sunset.

The children can walk back and forth to the beach unsupervised as there are no streets to cross. The shared Key West Style backyard has Weber gas BBQ grills and and a covered Tin Roof Gazebo, wood deck with chairs and tables with large Tropical plants and trees, a favorite spot for a cup of coffee in the morning, a cold beer from the outside refrigerator and great for private parties at night.
This small house is perfect for romantic couple, family with 3 small children, or 3 adults. Corner Cottage is a stand alone small house , 130 steps from the beach. Remodel in 2025

Pets are welcome addPet fee $150 for the stay not day We do not suggest guests with allergies book a pet friendly property. We love pets and most of our nearby restaurants allow pets and the beach is pet friendly on this street

Living room with high vaulted ceilings also has twin bed and full size sofabed to sleep 3 persons

As of 2023 our insurance no longer covers hotel

It was steps away from beach. Easy walk to restaurants and town shops. We went to blue jays games in Dunedin and it was a 15 min drive . Great place!

Beach living dream come true! We appreciated being able to use the beach chairs, toys, etc. and the beds were super comfy. Grateful for the AC being on when we arrived too! Nancy was great to chat with and had great suggestions of things to do. Capt Al responded quickly to questions and had clear communication. Highly recommend for another mother-daughter combo!

Captain Al and Nancy were very prompt in helping with anything we needed.Didn’t even need our wagon to pull down on beach… very quick and easy walk.Wi-Fi barely worked. It would be nice if you could stream to bedroom tv or have cable. Less could be more … decor wise. It would help to have less “stuff” sitting on kitchen cabinets so, there’s a place for our “snacky”stuff lolAll in all wonderful time. Wonderful people!!!

It was a few steps from the beach, clean and quiet. It is an older building but that wasn't an issue to me. It is walking distance from central Clearwater Beach. Captain did check to be sure everything was okay, then left me to enjoy the day.

Overall, the place was perfect for the 2 of us. Had a cute natical atmosphere. Well stocked kitchen. Nancy, the house keeper, worked very hard to make our stay comfortable. Could have used an end table to put my cpap on in the bedroom. We did not use the pool, but easy access to the beach. No outlets in the bathroom. Parking was tricky. Overall, we had a great time.

This was a great little place! The location is perfect. Beach is super close so you can easily walk back and forth for food, bathroom, etc. Also a close walk to all the restaurants and shopping in Clearwater Beach. Captain was super responsive when we had to message him. The whole vibe is very laid back and friendly!

The location for proximity to the beach, stores and restaurants restaurants is excellent. Beach is very close and very clean and nice. It was noisy at night and we had no real area to sit outside that was exclusive for our cottage. The hot tub was dirty and not not hot so likely shouldn't be counted on.

Glad you enjoyed to beach so clean and close We have no control over any noisy tourists, my apologies for that. We drain and clean the hot tub monthly as its gets a lot of use, and we do have another private hot tub available upon request when we do drain the big hot tub. Thank you for staying with us and I may suggest a more private rental property next time Capt Al

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We LOVED staying at Capt. Al's corner cottage. It was such a cute place and perfect for what we were looking for. Walking distance to everything, steps away from the beach and so relaxing! We especially loved the hot tub that was just out the back door and the atmosphere was so "beachy"....5 stars is not enough for this little gem of a place!

Capt. Al, the Property Manager, Reservaton Agent, and Cottage Counselor is originally from New Jersey, and was a camp counselor at Club Getaway. Having enjoyed living close the Jersey Shore my dream has always been to live at the beach in Florida. For 35 years I have enjoyed this beautiful little island. Here we get to swim in the Gulf of Mexico as the sun sets, enjoy local fresh fish, and have great congenial neighbors who are friendly and enjoy the same 'Salt Life' . When you come to visit, Capt. Al and his first mate, Karen will be happy to show you around.

Designated as the Old Florida District, by the City's Beach by Design, they give you the feel of Old Florida, in day 's gone by. These cottages are in North Beach in a quaint area with cute beach houses . These cottage and a few Guest Houses and small houses on these 3 streets are the very last of the Old Florida District in Clearwater Beach

Beach Cottages are fun. Cute little houses right by the sea. No cold elevators and halls to walk down. Just walk out the door and one hundred steps and you enjoy the best beaches in America. Most are much larger than the rooms called cottages in the large older homes in the neighborhood. Most are real little houses Enjoy the Old Florida District before its gone.
