Very clean beautiful home

Bevs rental property was clean and cozy. Very easy to find and check in. The neighborhood is very nice, especially the nature walking path and the fountains throughout the community. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the main beach and boardwalk.

Nice quiet neighborhood

The house is tucked in a small quiet neighborhood and was easily accessible from Bethany Beach proper. Probably a 5 minute drive to the boardwalk. The house was clean and as described. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We appreciated the beach chairs. The screen porch is nice.

Nice place, but some renting aspects were weird

The house is cute, really great light, well appointed and in a very quiet, safe feeling neighborhood. A nice, spacious outdoor shower and easy parking and storage for beach stuff, bikes, etc. The public beach is about 2 miles away, which is a bit too far to walk for a beach day, but it is about an 8-10 minute bike ride on quieter streets to one nice beach spot (Sandpiper/Sea Side Dr). The boardwalk area is also about 2 miles away and a bike ride away although on busier streets. A few issues. There are security cameras near the parking area (fine) and three cameras inside the house. One is right near the front door and is not an issue. One is pointed at the front door, but is across the living room so it is unclear what is in the camera shot. There is also one in the bathroom shower pointing outwards. The owner said they were not recording me and just there for security when no one is there. She was fine with me covering them, but it was still awkward. You can not control the thermostat. The owner has it locked (at 77 degrees while I was there). There was no propane in the tank for the grill. I got a new propane tank with the owner's consent, but she did not reimburse me the cost despite the grill being listed as an amenity.

Quaint home in a quiet neighborhood

Quaint home with all the amenities in a quiet neighborhood just a short drive to the beach. Nicely renovated bathroom with a great shower. A couple of older appliances, but functional. Nice spacious open garage-type area underneath that fits two cars comfortably.

Beautiful getaway

We had a great week at Bev's property. The house was very well appointed and quite clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living room was comfortable for our group of 4 to sit and watch tv. We had a wonderful week and would recommend this house to any family wanting to spend the week enjoying Bethany Beach.

Cozy beach cottage

Bev was amazing to work with. She got us a place to stay in a short amount of time and listing was very accurate. Cozy cottage in a nice neighborhood conveniently located. Fit 6 people comfortably and had dishes and appliances making it easy to prepare a meal at the house.

An entire house close to the beach

This beach house was exactly what my family of four was looking for this summer. We wanted to have our own house to ourselves and not have shared spaces with other travelers, like a condo or apartment. The property has a very warm and home-away-from-home feel. There's an outdoor shower and screened-in porch for keeping the sand out of the house. As for the neighborhood, people were out and about during the day taking walks and riding bikes. Everyone was friendly and greeted us with hellos. The evenings/nights were peaceful and quiet, just what we wanted. The house is clean and updated. My sons remarked that it "smells like a brand new house". The thermostat is on a program and sets itself throughout the day. The canal launch spot is even closer to the house than I imagined beforehand. If you have any kayaking/paddleboard gear, definitely bring it. It's in the same neighborhood as the house. With two teenage boys, we were comfortable riding bikes the mile or so from the house to the beach. (I brought one with a bike trailer to haul our beach gear, and reserved and rented three others from a place in the sea colony strip mall). The first road you travel on, while busy with car traffic, has a very wide shoulder. Communication with Bev, the property owner, was excellent. She always got back to us right away to answer any questions and she checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great time

This place was the perfect size for our family. It is very comfortable and is in great shape. High ceilings in the main room and plenty of windows makes for a very cheerful and bright space. We would definitely stay here again.
