One of the finest condominium rentals available! A quiet mountainous turn-key vacation rental sequestered in the trees complete with comfortable furnishings, granite slab countertops, slate floors, rock fireplace, extensive wood paneling and accents, electronics, all appliances, linens, etc. Enjoy the PRIVATE spa on the deck after a long day of skiing or hiking!

Located across from Heavenly's Stagecoach lift with only a short walk to the slope for skiing enthusiasts. Perfectly located for all the outdoor fun and activities that Lake Tahoe is known for, including a community outdoor pool and communal spa arena (in addition to the unit’s private spa) and mountain biking and hiking trails for avid outdoors adventurists and family alike. Free high-speed Wi-Fi internet included along with smart flatscreen TVs and a DVD player in the living room. This is a top unit in a building of four other units, with its own exterior entrance accessed by steps directly from the parking area, and it has a private master bedroom and bathroom on the unit's second floor. This condo was perfect for our family of four ski vacation. The condo was clean, well equipped, great layout and the hot tub was a nice extra. I will mention there are quite a few steps - 87 to be exact - so not for any elderly visitors. Communication with the owner was also easy and timely. They were definitely interested in making sure we had a great day. Highly recommend.

Not a good rental in the summer months

This is a winter rental. Not good for the summer. No A/C and no screens on slider or many of the windows makes the property useless during the day in the summer. Cools down at night, but with the lack of screens or intact screens on most of the windows/doors, makes this property purely a 3 season rental only. House number is not lit, difficult to check in late at night, and many uneven steps to access the property makes checking in with luggage a challenge.

Spring Ski Trip

Incredible location for easy access to Heavenly Mountain via the Stagecoach Lift. The condo is beautiful with plenty of space and a wonderful layout. The host is extremely helpful and responsive, and was especially helpful with some tips/advice as we were due to arrive at the end of some heavy winter weather. Do be aware that you need to climb quite a few stairs to get to the unit- we had no problem, but if stairs are an issue for you, there is no avoiding the climb.

Comfortable stay in a very nice location

Excellent/communicative host and Beautiful spacious interiors; I actually think the pictures don't do it justice as it was larger and more spacious than I'd thought it would be. Property is quiet and peaceful and everything in good working order. The property isn't "ski in/ski out" as the VRBO filters suggested, but the listing is accurate (1,000 ft from slopes). Just know that you'll be carrying your gear but it's only a short distance and closer than half of the resort's parking. Overall this was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay, thank you!!!

Fantastic Stay in Cozy Treehouse Like Condo

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo in Heavenly! It truly felt like a cozy treehouse, nestled among the trees with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The space had everything we needed for our ski vacation, making it a perfect home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked, the living area was comfortable, and the overall ambiance was just what we were looking for.The stairs are definitely a workout, but they weren’t an issue for us—they just added to the adventure! If you're looking for a charming, well-equipped spot close to the slopes, this is it. We’d definitely stay here again!

Ski Trip

The place was great for my trip. Just two of us in the place so plenty of room. Hot tub was hot and worked as it should. Lots of steps from the where you park the car, so if you are elderly or really out of shape it could be an issue. Close to the ski lift. Quiet and building sits by itself so you get the mountain vibe. Place is great for a smaller ski group.

Lovely Stay!

The private hot tub is incredible. Such a treat after a long day of skiing! Place is super cute. We came as a couple but would bring our kids next time! Don’t let the stairs stop you. Totally worth it!

A week to get away from Texas heat

Great property and met our needs. One suggestion- the large windows need some type of covering. The condo really heated up during the day from the sun. Power to the area was lost during our stay for 24 hours and it got hot with no fans running to the point sleep was tough one night.

One Drawback

Everything about the actual property was great. Nicely decorated, comfortable seating and a complete kitchen. It was just getting to the property was the problem. From the parking area to getting to the main living required 88 stair steps. At almost 8000 ft elevation and the 3 people staying there being 75, 80 and 81it was quite the workout for us. Perfect except for that!

Great place, minus the stairs and no AC.

The condo itself was super nice! Very clean and plenty of room for our family of 4. We had an issue when we first arrived with the code on the door lock, but Sarah responded very quickly and was able to resolved the problem. I don’t remember the listing mentioning there was no AC, and even though you’re in the mountains it was very hot during the day (like hit you in the face hot when you opened the door). My only other complaint was the amount of stairs there were. From the parking lot to the front door, there are 85 steps. So if stairs are a dealbreaker, then this house is not for you. Other than no AC and all the stairs, this place was fantastic.

Great location

The location could not be beat for access to the slopes. The condo was a good size for two adults and a teen. The kitchen was small but well stocked. We enjoyed our stay, with two exceptions. We specifically chose this unit because it had a hot tub on the deck that we wanted to use after skiing. It was broken and could not be used. Although there is apparently a community hot tub, we didn't find it and it was snowing and cold and we didn't want to have to walk in freezing temperatures. The other is that the heat stopped working. Although the gas fireplace worked somewhat, the downstairs bedroom with the door closed was extremely cold. Outside temperatures were below freezing. The owners were responsive to calls, but a partial refund would have been nice given the issues. There are many steps to access the unit. It did not present a problem for us, but it's exhausting after a day of skiing.

Tahoe Village

We had a very nice stay here during our ski trip. It had everything we needed. The overall condition of the condo clean but probably could use a little upgrading. Loved being able to walk just a couple of minutes to the Stagecoach lift. Very quiet and private location. Our only disappointment was not being able to adjust the temperature on the hot tub. We did not realize the instructions for the raising the temperature on the hot tub had a very specific button sequence. If it is not followed correctly it will cause the temperature mode to revert to cool. So we never got a chance to use it after a long day of skiing! Despite that mishap we will definitely considers staying here again. The host was very helpful and responsive to our questions.

Primary attraction not delivered

The property overall was nice. The stairs are no joke. There were some minor things like the chair cushions weren't all firmly attached and the kitchen is tight. But overall everything was fairly well appointed aside from the fact that the hot tub was broken before we got there. This fact was not made clear to us initially and the repair part was unavailable for the duration of our stay. There are many properties available near the slopes but the primary reason we chose this one was for the private hot tub. This significantly reduced the value of the property and despite being responding about the issue, I would have preferred knowing about it up front when the repair man was there on our check in day instead of 2 days later. I also had to request information every time instead of being told it. There were several ants seen in the property in the bathroom, on the ceiling, and one in the bed.

A couple finishing touches would make it 5 star

We stayed a week in January for a ski trip with our 2 daughters. It is located by the Stagecoach lift all the way up the mountain. It takes about 15 minutes to drive down and get into the main town and you MUST have a 4 wheel vehicle for winter to drive the terrain and mountain roads.Yes, there are a lot of stairs to get to the front door but it's very manageable. The kitchen has everything to cook and eat in, but it could really use a pizza pan. The hot tub struggles to stay heated when the cover is off and immediately plummets to 100 from 104 once you get in. The downstairs bathroom could use a refresh with its shower head and the mattress in that bedroom was quite bouncy. If one person moved, the other felt it. The upstairs bedroom is open to the downstairs and really should be filled in. The blind is fine for privacy, but it doesn't provide much as a sound barrier. The upstairs mattress is very comfortable and there is a lot of storage for clothes and gear. The couches are comfy but are starting to look a little tired and warn in a couple places. It could use a couple square ottoman stools for putting feet up or drinks on. There are no window coverings on the 1st level so it feels a little like living in a fishbowl at night, even if there aren't neighbors close by. The condo is a great for it's proximity to Stagecoach and staying on the mountain.

Lovely getaway!

We were unfortunate to visit when there was no snow - but we were a short walk from Stagecoach lodge and lift. Would've been perfect! Instead, we got to hang out in a great cabin that was large enough for the three of us to not feel cramped. Solid kitchen with great cooking essentials (regular pans, not abused teflon!), lovely fireplace, some board games, and comfortable seating. Lovely hosts!

Friendsgiving Get Away

House was great, perfect for two couples. Clean and well stocked. It was the easiest check out list I have ever had at a vacation rental!! If you prefer a lot of privacy this may not be the place for you as the upstairs bedroom is open to the main living area with just a blind to close for privacy. Heat was hard to keep at comfortable temp between upstairs and down. We just layered up so we could adjust as needed. And the stairs up are no joke with luggage, pack small bags ;) All that being said, we would absolutely stay here again.
