The villa was easy to get around and open. Beautiful garden area. Peaceful location No air conditioning Steps to pool very steep and narrow a hand rail would be most helpful

Enjoyed our stay

The. I’ll was very clean, well equipped and we enjoyed our stay We were disappointed that the bedroom doors were difficult to close and the bathroom doors DID’NT either close or lock. In fact the bathroom and en-suite had no locks. As we were a couple it wasn’t an issue to report but had we been two couples it could have been embarrassing

Lovely Villa in a quiet, peaceful location.

We were looking for a peaceful location and this property was ideal for us. The Villa was well equipped for our needs and the garden enabled us to enjoy a tranquil week in the sun. It was a nice touch providing a tablet loaded with useful info, as well as the welcome pack, but also appreciated our introductory visit to ensure all was satisfactory and provided us with assurance that if help was needed it was easily accessible. Having an alarm system also gave is a sense of security. We will definitely consider returning again next year. Nothing comes to mind.

Enjoyable stay with a few issues

The villa itself was comfortable and was generally well equipped, especially the kitchen. The pool is a good size and there were plenty of sun beds. The location is a bit further away from the shops and bars than we are used to but still only a 10 minute walk. There is a parking space at the side of the villa. When we requested more towels they promptly arrived. The staff who checked in with us were helpful and friendly. Overall we had an enjoyable stay at villa Helena. The villa wasn't ready for our arrival which the management seemed to know but didn't communicate this to us. The pool hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival and was quire dirty.

Sorry to hear the villa wasn’t ready when you arrived. As noted in our check-in information, the standard time is from 16:00, but with advance notice of your midday arrival, we would’ve been more than happy to try and accommodate an earlier check-in. Regarding the pool service, our pool cleaning team was unable to access the property at your request, which unfortunately limited our ability to carry out the scheduled cleaning on the day of your arrival. We do hope you will return to our beautiful island in the future and hope you enjoyed a relaxing holiday. Best wishes, Villas Now.

Comfortable villa in peaceful location

We enjoyed our stay. A high wall around the garden/pool area makes it very private and secure. The villa is well-kept and very clean. The bathrooms are nicely presented and well-equipped, while the master bedroom has a particularly comfortable mattress. The area is very quiet and peaceful. English TV (including sports) is a welcome addition. Representatives from Villas Now were always contactable by phone, and quickly fixed a minor problem. Top tip: during daylight hours the shops and restaurants of Faro Park can be reached in around 5 mins using an unofficial but easily navigated path across 'rough ground'. The exterior of the villa could do with some re-staining/painting etc, while the interior furniture and furnishings would benefit from some refreshing.

A bit away and distanced but great

We knew what we took, and in fact purposely were taking Helena for it's location and being tucked away from the usual hype of Playa Blanca. We wanted to Stay at FARO, yet were unlucky to get accomodation there. Helena @ ZAFIRO was a great alternative to Faro kitechen appliences, cutley, china and china: we believe time to be updated.... Doors - not a single door is locking properly in the rooms, with small child in the family that presented some problems Parking - not (obviously) designatade or explained, we had a situations where have to park on the drive

Hi Denis, I'm pleased you got away from the hustle and bustle and that Helena was the perfect location for this. I'm so sorry about the doors, I wish we had known this and we would have done something about it straight away. This will be rectified now we know. I hope your trip home was uneventful and we will hopefully see you again next year. Many thanks Sally

A good find

The best Welcome Pack! The villa was well equipped - but see my comments about what could be improved. Good location (which we know anyway, we always base ourselves near in/around Faro Park). It was odd that there was no chopping board provided, nor any washing up liquid, pan scrubs or "J Cloths" when there is a request not to put the plastic crockery in the dish washer. We purchased all of these and have gifted them to the next occupants! The curtains in the lounge are hanging off their rail, and we were wary of pulling them off altogether.

Great villa in every way, location, support when needed etc. Couldn’t find a chopping board and a few words about the alarm on the email sent beforehand would’ve avoided setting it off when we first arrived.

Villa Helena

Issue with water leak resolved very promptly. Great location. Villas interior requires a little TLC. Following a windy few days the cleaners did not dust the villa. However we would stay again as overall had a great 3 weeks.

The heated pool was lovely and lit up at night. The villa facilities were lovely. Love the bbq. Any issues were dealt with quickly. Would definitely stay again. old sunbed cushions. Chair cushions were fine.

A Peaceful Stay

A well kept villa in a very quiet residential area, probably the furthest outside of the main town I've stayed so a car is definately a good idea, but it was lovely and peaceful and so very relaxing. The villa was clean and well kept with all you need, A nice size pool with lovely garden area and patio. Inside, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the lounge area was good and had a TV with all the channels you need and the kitchen was equipped adequately. Altogether a very nice place to stay. Maybe some new fans !!!

Villa Casa Helena

The villa was beautiful, and had everything we needed. The pool and outdoor area were spacious and perfect for outdoor dining and enjoying the sunshine. I was very happy with everything, didn't see anything that needed to be improved. I would highly recommend Villa Helena

A truly wonderful villa

It's a wonderful villa at the edge of Playa Blanca, allowing very easy access to different ( and beautiful ) walks by the sea. You can even stroll straight to the centre of Playa Blanca - it takes about half an hour. The villa is fantastic and has everything you might need to to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The pool is brilliant and regularly clean. Rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are perfect. Lots of space inside and outside. It is in a very quiet area which is great.
