This beautiful villa at Bahia Pez Vela resort is the vacation escape of your dreams. At the exclusive Bahia Pez Vela resort you will have access to multiple pools, a black sand beach, an incredible on-site restaurant, friendly and amazing staff that will assist with all of your needs—plus 24 hour security with gated entry.

The Pacific Ocean is just steps from our patio where you will enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or catching some rays from the secluded beach. Also—just a few steps away is a beautiful multi-level infinity pool where you can swim, order drinks from the Soluna restaurant, and have the time of your life. The fantastic staff can arrange a massage for you on the beach in front of the villa and you won't want to go home.

This Villa is beach-level, with nothing between you and the Pacific Ocean. The location is premiere - just steps away from not only the beach, but also the resort's open-air restaurant and bar, and the luxurious swimming pools. A fully equipped kitchen and impressive wet bar, huge gas grill AND a Blackstone, washer and dryer, private wi-fi and tasteful decor will make your vacation unforgettable. Plenty of beach towels are provided for your fun in the sun. Two beachside bedrooms feature king beds, while the third bedroom has two twins that can be combined if needed. The villa has two full baths and one half bath — all with beautiful modern finishes.

This place was amazing. The unit had absolutely everything you need and the setting was great. The beach was never crowded which felt private and relaxed.The resturant on site was also great with really welcoming friendly staff.

This property is everything you dream about in a tropical vacation! The views and the beach are stunning. The house is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and is equipped with everything you would ever need. The owners Jeff an Karen where very knowledgably and helpful. Paradise found!

We had a fabulous time in Costa Rica. This properyt is set up beautifully with a large kitchen and outside entertaining area where we spent alot of time relaxing. The beach is just steps away as well as the excellent restaurant and bar. The staff at the resort were excellent and arranged excursions and transportation so that we could spend more time having fun than planning. The people of Costa Rica were welcoming, friendly, and helped us explore the town and the greater Guanacaste province. I can't say enough good things about our experience and can't wait to go back!

Amazing Villa!

What an amazing villa! From the wine and fruit welcoming my family to the view of the ocean which was only steps away, our time at Bahia Pez Vela and our villa was exceptional! Jeffrey was always quick to communicate on any question we had. Hope to return soon!

Perfection

This property and it's hosts were exactly what we were looking for. The beach was quieter, clean and the perfect excuse to stay close by. The beds and entire home cozy (not small- comfortable and easy to relax in). The kitchen and dining areas (ours and the restaurant) were beach gourmets. We will be coming back.

Incredible property and experience!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the property, the staff and the experience. The first morning, we awoke to howler monkeys in the trees around us. The view from the bedrooms and living area of the ocean are incredible. The staff onsite are top notch and always willing to help setting up beach chairs, bringing drinks, or scheduling activities. The unit itself is stocked with everything you could possibly want. You will not regret staying here.

Gorgeous

The property and unit where absolutely wonderful. The condo was spotless and perfectly appointed. We are 5 star travellers and were very pleased. The restaurant was great for dinner but lunch was a bit disappointing. Cesar in the office was beyond pleasant and accommodating. He always had a smile !! We would highly recommend this property !!

Wow! Wow! Wow!

While this was not our first stay at Bahia Pez Vela, it was our first time staying in an oceanfront villa, and it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the proximity to the black-sand beach, the pools, and the restaurant, and the view of the ocean and the sound of the waves was amazing! During our stay we saw manta rays, pelicans, howler monkeys, and tiger herons from our patio. The unit was well equipped for our needs, and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Summer adventure

What an amazing place to wake up to each morning with the sounds of the ocean and the chatter of birds and monkeys-and even better to return to each day after a day of excursions to relax by the pool, with a unique cocktail made from Costa Rica’s fresheat fruits or just relax in the villa, which was gorgeous and dully stocked with everything you would need to stay in and unwind. Cesar, the concierge, was so accommodating and friendly and arranged all of our excursions, day trips and evening massages. We will definitely be back and with even more friends next time so they can enjoy the experience as much as we did!

Perfect villa

Our stay was absolutely perfect! This was probably the best equipped villa we have ever stayed in. The owner must be very organized and design oriented. We were able to find anything and everything we needed while there. No only was it beautiful, but the location , directly on the beautiful black beach, was outstanding. We had our coffee each morning on our back patio, which was furnished like an outdoor living room, or on our upstairs balcony. The sounds of the waves and view of the ocean was relaxing and watching the monkeys was fun and entertaining. Thank you for making our vacation so special. We have stayed in villas all over the Caribbean so do have something else to compare this one to.

Great Family Spring Break!

Our first time in Costa Rica and we will be back! The unit is great right on beach, 50 feet from pool and restaurant! Howler monkeys were spotted and heard on day 1. House is equipped with everything you need, great wifi, youtubetv to catch US sports, outdoor area great with comfy furniture. Owner was great, super easy checkin process and concierge at bahia was awesome lined up all excursions, waterfalls, zipline, whitewater rafting, horseback, hot springs, they pick you up right at your door and for fishing you just walk down to beach for pickup. Our 15 year old twins loved everything. Food was excellent, clean water, and the people of costa rica were so nice! Cant wait to go back! I would recommend getting a car to tour around the local towns and beaches!

What a wonderful week!

We can't say enough positive things about our stay- and can readily say the description posted by the owners is very accurate. The villa is lovely and has anything you could possible want or need- and truly is just steps away from the beach, which even during the holidays was not overly crowded. The covered patio made it so easy to stay outside all day and enjoy the weather, the beach, pool, restaurant and monkeys ! The staff (esp Cesar) at the resort was great setting up transportation and excursions and the restaurant team (esp Edwin) made life so easy. Also very much appreciated how quickly and thoroughly Jeff answered all of my questions and provided ideas for off-property dining, too (Father Rooster was a definite hit!) . We had an amazing week and thank Jeff and Karen for sharing their home with us !

Home in Paradise

Panorama Villa did not disappoint. The location and view are unparalleled, but the thought Jeffrey and Karen put into their guest’s stay is what really put it over the top. Nothing was missed to make our time feel like it was our special vacation home from the fully equipped kitchen to the beach toys to the very comfortable patio. I smiled because they seem to have my philosophy that you can never have too many mugs, knives, or pillows 😁. The staff at Bahia Pez Vela always make us feel like family. The new on site restaurant Soluna was quite good and the breakfast menu a welcome addition. Although the beautiful welcome fruit basket provided us with a few breakfast meals including some delicious smoothies. We were definately spoiled for any other place in Costa Rica in the future!

Unforgettable Family Vacation!

This was our first international vacation with our kids and saying it was perfect is an understatement. This resort was a recommendation of a friend and we were lucky enough to be able to book Jeff and Karen’s condo. The value we got for a beautiful villa, with proximity to a seemingly private beach, full service restaurant and multi level pool cannot be matched. Jeff was a great host - helpful, friendly and flexible. The staff at the resort provide 5 star service including booking a rental car, airport transfers, and jungle adventures. The most work I did for any of these was to simply send an email. Jeff and Karen’s condo is the most well equipped vacation rental we’ve ever used. It had great kitchen equipment, welcome refreshments and honestly anything we could think we would need. This sounds silly but they had a cabinet full of tervis cups and yeti cups which made beverages on the go or to the beach so easy, especially for kids. They also had travel coolers which allowed us to pack picnics when we explored other beaches in the area. We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up extending it for two more nights. We can’t wait to travel back with friends and family to rent multiple villas. This place is that magical!

Amazing Villa

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay at Villa 2, in Bahia Pez Vela was. 4 out of the 7 days we were there, the Howler Monkeys came to the trees right in front of the villa. We were steps from the beach or pool. Everyone on the entire property was so kind and helpful. The villa itself is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We spent every evening sitting on the outdoor patio, listening to the waves crash. We used the resort concierge, Cesar, to book several tours, all of which picked us up right outside our door. My husband booked a fishing trip and the boat pulled up on the beach in front of the villa. He caught Red Snapper and Black Fin Tuna that we cooked for ourselves in the gourmet kitchen. I love to cook and the kitchen is seriously amazing! As for the rest of the resort, it was also perfect for us. No big crowds or blaring music all day at the pool. It is a small, but perfectly maintained oasis, with yummy cocktails and food. Other than the night we cooked for ourselves, we ate every meal at the pool restaurant, tried almost everything on the menu, and everything was excellent. Thank you so much to the Bumps, for sharing their piece of paradise.

I won't even look for another place next time I visit Costa Rica!

First time using VRBO and visiting Costa Rica. We wanted a close family trip with our three children in their early 20's. This property was better than advertised. The owners were extremely helpful at every step of the process and easy to work with. The staff at the resort was as well. This was the most well-stocked home we've ever stayed at, and they have everything you could need. Plenty of towels, pillows, kitchenware, appliances, washer/dryer, great air conditioning, comfortable beds, etc... The setting is secluded and gorgeous and absolutely perfect if you want to be close to your family or friends while on vacation (if you don't then a Westin or Four Seasons might be more your speed :) ) The snorkeling off the beach is very nice and there's plenty of wildlife and sea life to wonder at right on the property. The restaurant on-property is great, and it's easy to either have groceries delivered or to go into town and get what you need. If we return to Costa Rica again, I won't even look for another place unless this one is booked (which it probably will be!). If it's available and you're reading this, I recommend that you stop looking and book it now. You'll have an excellent experience and a beautiful place to stay. Just make sure you fly in and out of Liberia! Pura Vida! Steve

Paradise in Bahia Pez ela

We absolutely loved this gorgeous villa. It is beautifully decorated, with every possible creature comfort. The kitchen, bar, patio and veranda areas had everything, including more beach towels we could use in a year! The villa was immaculate, the kitchen also had every tool, bowl, appliance and gadget one could need. We heard the Howler monkeys every night and morning, the restaurant and pool on the premises are fabulous. The wait staff is there for your every wish. We had an expanse of lawn in front of the villa and then right down to the gorgeous beach. Cesar and his staff take impeccable care of Pez Vela and of us beautifully. He arranged for fabulous tours and fishing. He suggested restaurants and made reservations if we asked. We loved the Costa Rican people and anyone fortunate enough to stay in the villa will have an unforgettable experience.

This villa is beachfront (not to be confused with "ocean view"). You have nothing between you and the fabulous Pacific ocean and the beach (except for a few steps). The view and location is breathtaking, with an enormous patio, fully equipped with outdoor furniture and lounge chairs to take it all in. And... it's just been fully remodeled and improved in every aspect - no expense has been spared!
