You Must be 25 Years of Age or Older to Rent.
This spacious, tranquil home is in a family-friendly area of the beach. Molly's Place has all the amenities of home with tile floors throughout. The large kitchen with dining table is open to the living room, making for easy family gatherings and always being a part of the conversation! The spacious bedrooms easily accommodate you and your guests. The primary bedroom has a king and an attached bathroom with a step-in shower. Bedroom two has a queen bed. There are also two roll-away beds for additional sleeping, if necessary. Bedroom three has a single bed and a twin/twin bunk. For your inside entertainment, this home has DISH for TV viewing and WIFI. You will enter the passcode information provided in a picture frame near the TV in the living room. In the morning, pour your coffee and enjoy the amazing sunrise from the deck. You can even watch the big ships out in the Gulf. Downstairs, you will find a large, covered area for the kids to play in the shade and a charcoal grill. The family "Grill Master" can grill your favorite meals while enjoying the Gulf breezes. When you are ready to head to the beach, there is easy access via walking, golf cart, or vehicle! Don't forget to rinse off in the outdoor shower after a fun day at the beach.
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes cannot guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay. We cannot offer refunds for the disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting, or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nightsā€™ rent. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for the renter's use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes. We provide linens and bath towels in every house, and standard beds are made for your arrival. Linens will be provided in the home for all sleeper sofas, trundles, and pull-out, roll-away bedding. Paper products, other than toilet tissue and paper towels, and cleaning supplies are not included.
We provide a starter pack consisting of the items below. Please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tabs (if applicable)
2 laundry tabs (if applicable)
1 small dish liquid soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar of hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest
Do not forget the beach towels, bug spray, and sunscreen! Once you're booked, log in to your guest guide for instructions on your home, beach rentals, and things to do on the Peninsula.
All our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not Galveston.

Wonderful Beach House

We loved stayed at Molly's Place. It was a short walk to the beach which was great with kids. The beds were comfortable, and the house was well stocked. The only things we would have liked to have had at the house was a pack 'n play and highchair for the baby. But we would definitely stay at Molly's Place again!

Great cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exactly as pictured. It was clean. Beds were comfy. Floor layout was great. Wonderful view of the Gulf. We would definitely stay here again. Only thing that I would like added is some nice deck chairs to sit in and the cabin stairs could use a good pressure washing due to lots of bird poop. We had a great stay!!

Much needed break after Pandemic and the right place to have your eyes and mind to relax!

Excellent location and especially the Patio view. Steps away from beach. Best place to relax your mind and have some quality time with family and friends. The place has pretty much everything you need in terms of staying and cooking staff and also communication with owner was very fast. Overall our experience is great and will definitely plan to come again. One small piece of advice - change the living room carpet. Rest all is super!!!

So nice and doesnā€™t disappoint!

Wonderful!! Kitchen needs a few more cooking utensils but other than that.... amazing!! Wish you could use the elevator too when older guests come...and for getting your groceries up. I understand why not tho.

Great view. Could use outdoor/deck furniture other than just a picnic table. A working cargo lift would have been very helpful for us. I did ask about this when making reservation but received no response. I should have followed up. Note: these stairs are very steep and beware of splinters if you have to use rail.

Great View

Booking, and check in was so easy!!! House has a fantastic view and very short walk to beach. The driveway is not something for people with multiple vehicles. Each time someone needed out we had to all move vehicles so one could get out. This place is the kind to park your vehicle and use your golf cart to go. The kitchen is missing a lot of needed items if youā€™re cooking for a group. You will want to bring your own cookware, pans, mixing bowls, cooking utensils,and cleaning supplies. The house is overall very lovely, but you will need to be sure to bring your own kitchen stuff if you plan to cook your meals!!

The check in instrctions were never emailed or shared. I had to call and ask what to do. The dishwasher broke and we were told we still had to wash all the dishes and put them away. Other than that, the house was great!

Great trip

We loved this property. It was very close to the beach, easy walk for a 5 year old. It was very spacious and we loved sitting on the porch for meals. The house was clean, minus the couch pillows and microwave (may be time to change those up). Make sure to pack bug spray, mosquitos get bad on the beach at night.

Great location and house

Perfect family house and location. Very comfortable. You can see the beach from the front door. No other houses block the view. Easy walking distance as well. We stayed while electricity maintenance was being done in the area so we didn't have electricity until late our first night which is not something that would happen under normal circumstances and is out of management's control. However, the windows would not open(for security purposes iIsuspect) and that made the house hot. Towels and linens were provided as well as soaps and dish soap. Beds are very comfortable. No basic pots/pans so don't forget yours. Restaurants are very limited and close early unless you go to Galveston. I might be wierd but I always vacuum before I leave a beach house but there wasn't a vacuum here. Overall I would recommend this house for family's. Great location and set up.

Location was key

The proximity to the beach helped us look past some of the things about the property that didnā€™t meet our expectations. We could look out the front door and see the ocean view and it was awesome! The beds and linens in the smaller bedrooms were pretty uncomfortable for my kids so that was the biggest challenge. And it could use a good deep cleaning but for the price it wasnā€™t a bad experience. Iā€™m not sure we would pick to stay in this particular house again.

The house was.clean and very feasible to get to beach. Was disappointed in the needed containers to store leftovers and spices for general cooking. No coffee filters, only one roll of TP in bathroom

Great house!

Perfect property with beach view and access. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels and Kleenex. A few things were not cleaned well like the stove and items under the bed. Otherwise it was nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!!

Much needed getaway

This was a much needed and surprise trip for my grandmother. The house was lovely and situated so we could clearly see the beach. Mornings on the deck were perfect. We are planning to make this our yearly getaway.

The beach house was very clean, nicely decorated and the beach view was the best. Wish the elevator was working because of the 27 stair steps, but that was the only thing we had to overcome.

Perfect location

The house was in a perfect spot without houses too close. Perfect view of the ocean. Very short walk to the beach/ocean. Close to the ferry which was a fun experience. Youā€™ll want to get a golf cart for exploring and thereā€™s a shop about a mile down the road that will deliver it to you. House is a great space for a family. The only compliant we had was the smell in the kitchen. We narrowed it down to coming from the freezer and put some baking soda in it hoping that would help some. We opted to pay the $100 for linens and towels, which I do recommend so you donā€™t have to mess with it. Having a washer and dryer was great, just have to bring your own detergent. Also youā€™ll need to bring your own toilet paper bc that isnā€™t supplied unless the person before you left some. In short we had a great time and would defiantly stay in this house again.

Annual Friendsā€™ Trip

Great view and beach access and, overall we enjoyed our annual July 4th friendsā€™ trip. The only disappointment was that the house wasnā€™t very clean and the kitchen was disorganized, which made it hard to find things we wanted to use. The kitchen closet had a lot of food that had been left by prior guests right next to a super smelly mop and water bucket.
