Starlite Creek Retreat is a unique mountain cabin in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The cabin was completely renovated a few years ago and combines quirky charm with a modern rustic style. Gather the whole fam or have a friend reunion, we can easily sleep 12!

On the main floor, we have 2 queen bedrooms and a full bath. The primary bedroom suite is upstairs and has a king bed and full bath with a soaking tub and a rain shower, plus a loft with a sleeper sofa. The lower level has a bunk room with 2 full beds, a twin over full futon bed and a full bath.

The kitchen, living and dining rooms are all open and spacious yet cozy. The cabin has an eclectic rustic vibe with interesting art and design. Tired of the same old bear cabin decor? Check us out!

Besides the cabin itself, which is truly a one of a kind property, the outdoor surroundings provide a relaxing escape. Set in a forest lush with hemlocks and rhododendrons, you will feel like you are in a tree house on our back decks. The highlight of the property is Fightingtown Creek. The constant sound of the rushing waters is naturally soothing to the soul. Take a deep breath and imagine the relaxation. We have 128 feet of frontage on the creek, which is a designated trout stream. There are stairs down to 2 decks overlooking the creek, you can access the water for wading, floating or fishing right there.

Nope, we don't have a hot tub. Did you know that they have to be dumped and refilled for each guest? All those chemicals end up in the creek and the water table (where the water for the well comes from), so we don't think it's worth it.

The name of the cabin "Starlite" comes from a mineral (the state mineral of Georgia) that is found in several boulders that we have on the property by the creek. This mineral is Staurolite, sometimes called "fairy crosses" and looks like 2 black crystals making a cross. This is somewhat rare and is thought to have healing and calming properties.

The town of Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas offer outdoor adventure, boutique shopping and treasure hunting, dining, horseback riding, vineyards, breweries, beautiful mountain scenery and much more!
We are also close to Ellijay and McCaysville which are cool mountain towns with their own vibe.
