Villa Iguana is a recently built luxury villa added to the beautiful island of Vieques. The villa sleeps eight guests and is the perfect secluded paradise. With a total of three bedrooms and two and a half baths, Villa Iguana will ensure a peaceful stay with top of the line amenities. Open wide the back-patio doors and discover paradise right in the backyard. Take a dip in a refreshing color-lit pool or lounge with a glass of wine on a pool chair, the possibilities are endless. The villa is approximately three minutes from the main town of Isabel II and a 10 minute drive to secluded beaches in the natural reserve. Villa Iguana is a must-see destination for any relaxation hungry guests who want to enjoy what the island of Vieques has to offer but also yearn for the privacy and tranquil qualities of a home away from home. Vieques island is located off the coast of Puerto Rico.

Beautiful Home in Paradise!!!s

Stunning property with everything you need for a great vacation! Exceptionably clean and comfortable. Beautifully landscaped backyard was a great place to relax after a day at the beach. Will for sure come back to stay again soon!

I want to start off by saying the house is beautiful and very clean. The reason I didn’t give it a full rating is because for 400 and up a night I was not impress with the location. I have stood at so many home rentals and never paid that much for not a good location. Also even tho they specifically say they charge 90 for laundry and I appreciate they stating that. I thought that was a lot of money for the use of the washer and dryer. I stood at many homes that do NOT charge an additional fee. I am not oppose to paying a additional fee, but 90 was a bit steep. A hotel charges less and gives more amenities. The house was completely stripped of any basics such as salt, pepper, sugar etc which again maybe it’s NOT common thing for PR home rentals. The house was not worth the price. I also want to let future renters know. We rented a very small vehicle every time we drove in and out of the driveway the bottom of the car would scrap because it was such a steep incline. We were extremely concerned of damaging the car. Great house

We had a fantastic time at the house. The pool was perfect for the kids. The rooms were all comfortable. Location was for the most part great but could be challenging if you don’t have car. Need to have vehicle. Also, we were unable to access washer/dryer. Still, the space itself was great.

Wonderful house

First time visiting Vieques,PR. This house was exactly as described. Very clean and neat, very safe and it has everything we needed for our stay. The pool area and pool itself were a great plus, specially with the island hot weather. The location is a little far from convenient stores, even though the island is not big, a car is definitely needed! It is has some beaches close by like 6 minutes at a driving distance. The manager was very responsive and kind. Also the housekeeping assistance was very helpful. The rent doesn’t include laundry access, it’s optional and payable in cash to the manager. Overall this house was awesome, I would definitely come back!

Nice House but....

House is relatively new. Very clean. Fluffy new towels and comfortable beds. Outdoor area was pleasant with nice seating, and pool was good. Kitchen area was smallish. We admit that we probably have too many cooks. Property manager was friendly but unfortunately we didn't speak much Spanish and he didn't speak much English. We stayed 18 nights, and he and housekeeper came once. Also, it was not clear then that we had to pay an extra $95. to use washer and dryer. Our biggest problem was the noisy location, two doors away from a concrete plant. They often got going even before 7 AM and sometimes (not always) the noise was terrible. If you can handle that, the house itself is a good buy for the money.

Thank you for your feedback. The housekeeper was supplied by us as a courtesy as you were staying 18 nights. Normally housekeeping is not provided for short term rentals unless you request it for a fee. The washer and dryer fee is clearly stated in the listing. And in closing i may have an accent but do speak english quite well. I wish you the best and hope you enjoyed your overall stay.

What a great property! An address would help though. We had a tough time explaining to the cab driver where we were going. It helps that the cement factory is close to tell people!

I was nice and very home like

He was nice only problem was he said we broke the security door and we rented 2 house and we were mostly at the other house cause it was but bigger but he was nice about everything just waiting on how much the screw cost that came out

Lovely house

This is a great vacation property with plenty of room for the 6 of us. It actually could fit more than 8 as the 2 bunk beds are actually queen bunks so 3 of us from one family stayed in the bunk bedroom and the other family of 3 stayed in the other 2 bedrooms. We didn't end up spending much time in the pool as we only had 2 full days in Vieques. It is about 6 minutes from Isabel and 15 minutes from Esperanza and you definitely need a car. They have a pretty fully stocked kitchen although, as someone had said previously, no sponge or paper kitchen towels so a little difficult to wash dishes. No issues with any cement factory noise even though we were there Thursday to Sunday. The manager was there to open the house when we arrived and came when we left to get the keys. All in all, a very good experience.

We are Melvin & Patricia Donato, and live in Atlanta GA. We are busy with work and our kid's sports, so whenever we have the opportunity we love to sneak away to Vieques. Our family loves spending the day at the beach, and what better place to do that than the beautiful island of Vieques. We enjoy the tranquil relaxed vibe Vieques has to offer.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We visited Vieques for the first time in 2013 and fell in love with the island. The relaxed vibe allows us to reconnect as a family. While spending the day in "Pata Prieta Beach" my wife suggested we get a place in Vieques. A few years later after researching properties we purchased some land in 2015. We then began exploring different options to build on the island and decided to bring a builder from the main island as we wanted a modern look. This home was built for our family and provides all the comforts of home. That being said, we have provided all the comforts for our guests to feel at home. The house has such a welcoming feel you may choose to take a break from the beach some days and just enjoy the pool and outdoor space. You have to experience it to understand.

The outdoor living area by the pool provides the most relaxing experience after a long day at the beach. An outdoor shower to wash the salt away, a dip in the pool and sipping a drink while sitting on the outdoor furniture or in the pool.

This home was built for our family to enjoy, therefore we did not skimp on the details, Quality furniture, appliances, mattresses, bedding, linens, towels. All this to make our guests feel as comfortable as if they were in their own home.
