Real Escapes Properties is proud to offer Ocean Walk T-3!

This charming community places you in the heart of St. Simons Island's most popular tourist area. The complex is long walking or biking distance to the village/pier area, shops and restaurants, as well as the best beaches on the island.

This single level ground floor unit offers the perfect amount of room and outstanding amenities. Enter through the hallway door into the open living and dining areas. Just past the dining/living area to the left is the bathroom which holds a tub/shower combo and single sink vanity. To the right will be the bedroom which has newly purchased furniture and bedding.

There is a laundry facility on grounds for your use as well as a designated grilling area. The very large complex offers a park like setting with century old oaks, palm trees, and two large swimming pools, one of which is heated yearly from September until April.

Other community amenities include a sizable fishing pond with fountain, a fitness center, tennis court and a children's' playground.

Come stay with us and fall in love with St. Simons and Ocean Walk. 0.9 Miles to the Village, Beach and Pier.

• Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (4 persons).
• Dogs are allowed with a $100/pup non-refundable pet fee. Limit 2.
• Parking is available for 2 vehicles.
• 1 mile to Massengale Beach Access, 1.5 miles to Coast Guard Station Access,1/2 mile to Pier & Village

Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old - this applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

What to Expect in your Unit:
• There are 2 TVs and 1 DVD located in this property.
• Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bag. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

Peaceful, quite bliss!!

We had an amazing time. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. It is located towards the back of Ocean Walk so it is also very peaceful. The complex is very nice. We enjoyed the pool and played tennis. We also went to the beach everyday. Thank you so much!

Very Unpleasant Experience

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very unhappy with this condo. TV's are only streaming with no cable. (I don't have subscriptions to the channels that I wanted to watch. ESPN to watch Georgia vs Ole Miss.) Besides that, the condo is very old and not very clean. Also, the sliding glass door is very hard to lock. Have stayed at other Ocean Walk condos and thoroughly enjoyed those stays. I had this room booked for (2) nights, but ultimately only stayed (1) night due to the above negatives.

Totally Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in early (which we appreciated having the opportunity to do) only to discover later in the day after the office was closed that the unit was SO dirty. I don't mean they missed a child's bare feet were black after walking around on the tile. Hair in the sheets and towels, grimy floors with pet hair and dust everywhere, a refrigerator that smelled like spoiled meat, and a horrible smell throughout the unit. So, I spent my first night of vacation going to the grocery store to buy cleaning supplies, and cleaned the unit so that we could even stand to stay there. We were able to speak with staff the next morning and they asked if we wanted them to send the cleaners back. ! I'd already cleaned it, and they did a horrendous job last time! We were then offered clean towels and sheets...the "clean" sheets appeared (and smelled) like they were just removed from packaging and never washed, which is almost worse. Staff mentioned that they were waiting to hear back from the cleaners and "hoped they would provide some compensation for our hassle". With all due respect, we are not clients of the cleaners. Of course, we've never heard another thing about that from anyone. On top of it all, the bed and sofa were very uncomfortable. We are completely disappointed!

We enjoyed the easy walk to the pool and short drive to the beach. As with any condo we did kill a couple of bugs inside, nothing major. I definitely would stay again and would recommend this property. Very happy with our overall stay.

Love the proximity to the village, the library second hand bookstore and restaurants. Such a great, dog friendly complex and community. Our favorite!My only complaint was that the condo was a bit musty when we arrived. However, a few boxes of baking soda and opening the sliding doors fixed it. The new refrigerator is great.

Condo very nice but very noisy neighbor across the hall and upstairs. And as I hurt my leg pretty bad on Christmas day was not able to get out and about so just planned on laying around and reading a good book However we left a day early due to the noise.Maybe next tripp will be better.

Location was great. Condo had dirty floors and odor. Refrigerator did not have ice maker. It was very old. Would not stay there again.

The down side was the kitchen layout and the toaster is so old it is hard to work. It has obviously be re-designed to open it up, but is all wrong. For instance, the stove should never be next to the refrigerator, and the drawer next to the stove does not open due to the handle on the stove. However, it is functional, clean and in a good location. Tully at Real Escape Properties is a good guy to work with.

The complex is very convenient to the dock and village center and very dog friendly. Just the right size for a couple and a dog with a nice outdoor porch. I would recommend this to anyone. We've already reserved for next year.

3 day stay for golf tournament

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Walk. It was nice having tennis and basketball on site. We would definitely stay here again .

A couple of concerns

The property and amenities were great! However, there were two concerns. 1. There was a horrible smell in the condo. We had to keep the sliding door open most of the time we were there to help us breathe without the smell. 2. The cable service for the tv was horrible. It would go out after about 30 seconds. You had to reset it, but then it would just go back out. We didn’t let these things ruin our time as we were only there for two nights. However, had I been staying longer, I would have complained.

A get away for a wedding weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay met our expectations. One queen size bed with TV in bedroom. Nice living room with TV. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook. No washer/drier in condo but they are in the complex to use. Nice quite area with 2 pools and a tennis court. The plus is that Ocean Walk is in walking distance from the village, restaurants and pier. Pets are welcomed too!
