Spacious two bedroom, one bath unit with completely fenced outdoor area in a charming neighborhood. One king bed, one full bed, and a twin bed can accommodate up to 4 guests. Fully furnished kitchen includes washer/dryer and is open to dining and living areas. Televisions in each bedroom as well as Wifi and a wide variety of cable channels. Outdoor area includes ample seating, a dining table, and a small charcoal grill.

The space is beautiful and cozy. The fenced in yard helped us feel even more safe. We did not realize the house was in an active bar area with live bands playing almost the whole week. The first night, my son did not sleep at all because of the loud music. We did not expect this the week of Thanksgiving. For our next vacation, I’ll need to do further exploration. I was not expecting this. The home is wonderful and cozy. It was an easy walk to the pier.

We love staying here!! The location is perfect - it is peaceful and within walking distance to the pier. We also love that our dogs can come with us. Janna is very communicative and a great host!

Great Memorial Stay

This is the second year in a row we have stayed here for a week during Memorial Day. Location is perfect. Wonderful location to bring our two golden retrievers.

Beach Trip

The stay at Janna’s home was very nice. The location in town cannot be beat and the walk to the beach is only 10 minutes. We look forward to having the opportunity to stay again!

Biking trip

Loved the proximity to shops and restaurants and also the fenced in yard and gorgeous oak trees. The cottage was a little outdated but very comfortable and served our needs. Although it was near the town, it was very quiet. Would have liked having more than one trash bag and two half rolls of TP for a week’s stay, but grocery stores weren’t far away so we could obtain what we needed. The owner was very quick to respond and friendly when we arrived at 8:30pm and the code we were given for the key box was incorrect. She guided us to the alternate entry code and stayed on the phone with us until we were inside. We would recommend this cottage to anyone!

Close to everything

Our stay was very nice, my wife and I and 2 dogs loved it, the outside could use a little sprucing up, we loved the large oak trees and all the shade, it was nice because the property was fenced in so we didn’t have to worry about the dogs. The interior was very nice , my wife loved the built in book cabinets and all the books, now she wants to build some at home, lol. Some minor suggestions, the outside light by kitchen door needs fixed and over the sink.overall our stay was spectacular. Oh i forgot to mention it is in pier village, an easy walk to restaurant, shopping and the pier.

Spring Break Getaway

This is our 2nd year staying at this location, and we absolutely love it! Super convenient to walk around the town to the restaurants, pier and parks. Love the fenced in area for our pup. Very comfortable little cottage. Looking forward to our next trip down.

Could use some TLC

Overall the stay was great but this was a reflection of the area more than the property. The property could use some TLC - Cabinet doors askew and chipped paint, patio furniture rusting out and unsafe, very dated interior, busted countertop, tiny TVs, internet that cuts out frequently- it is obvious this is nothing more than a cash cow for someone trying to milk every dime out of it. Everything in the place is quite dated with the exception of some of the appliances. Kitchen has the bare minimum.

The location of the house is excellent. Not having to use our car once we get there matters. The house is very comfortable and there is a huge dog park nearby if we decide to take our dog with us.

Disappointing

When we arrived at the property, we were surprised that the outside of the property was dirty, in poor condition, and dangerous due to some rotted boards. After entering the property, we found the back door unlocked, some bugs, and the place had not been cleaned well. I contacted the rental agency and they got back to me the next morning and had an exterminator and cleaning crew come in to address the problems. In general, the property is old, dark, in need of repair and bringing up to date. We were excited to find a place so close to the village, but disappointed in the property itself. It is located at the edge of the village and the beach is a short walk away, which was ideal! The owner also has a huge book collection, so don’t worry if you didn’t bring something to read.

Cute, Quiet and Convenient

Property is exactly as described; charming and well-stocked in a quiet neighborhood that is just steps away from the pier village and Ocean Blvd. restaurants. I would stay there again.

Perfect Beach Week

The property was just as described. We brought the dogs and it was perfect. Location was close to park and even a dog park to take them to in the morning before it got too warm. Then it was also close enough to the beach to end the day with a nice walk on it with the dogs. Very near shops and restaurants.

Great location

Location is convenient to everything we want to do and we were able to have our furbabies with us! House was well appointed and clean. The neighborhood can be a bit noisy with the leaf blowers early in the morning.

Spring Break

This was our 2nd year in a row coming to SSI for break, and after staying at this location, we’ve already booked for next year!! You can not beat this location. We didn’t even use our car the entire week. The description of the place was on point. A little old, but quaint, and very comfortable. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Best place ever

Stayed here with my 2 dalmatians, my sister and her blue heeler for 4 weeks. As soon as we walked into yard and door to unit A we fell in love with this cozy warm cottage....we love to read and we were surrounded by bookshelves full of books. Many times we would look at each other and say" I really like this place...I could live here". Perfect for us. We have already booked for 2025.

A good stay

Nothing fancy, but very livable (we were there for a month). Great location! Walking distance to the Pier and a dozen restaurants. Very comfortable bed, good kitchen, private patio, lots of books and games.

Convenient, Casual and Comfortable

Great location for walks to park, shops and restaurants. The fenced yard was great for outdoor time to grill and the dogs could safely explore while we relaxed.

Another great stay!

This was our second stay at the property. We are planning on returning next year. Its so nice being able to spend the week with our boys. (Dogs) We absolutely love it!!! We walk, relax, walk, bar hop, walk, eat, walk, beach.

Fantastic!!

This was not only the perfect little condo, but it was in the best location. I communicated several times with the owner of the property prior to our arrival, and not only was she extremely responsive, she was delightful to work with! The condo was perfect, we could walk to everything even though we rented a golf cart, it was perfect for our dogs with the enclosed backyard, And it had everything we could’ve possibly needed for our weeklong vacation. On the drive home, we decided to go ahead and book the property again for our next trip in six weeks! This will absolutely be our property of choice every time we visit St. Simons.

Wanted to stay longer

This home was quaint and perfect for us. We loved the private outside fenced area. It was perfect for our dogs. We were right downtown to the restaurants, and the ighthouse was just steps away. I would suggest renting a golf cart, it was just a short drive to the beach. My only complaint, which is very small, would be that the dishwasher needs replacing. It doesn't clean well and we found dirty dishes in cabinets. We also had trouble cutting the shower off. But that was minor compared to our overall trip, and would definitely stay there again.

Always a great stay

We love this property location. It has everything we need to enjoy our vacation with our daughter and pups. SSI is our favorite beach destination.

As native Atlantans, we have always loved the Georgia coast and both grew up vacationing on St. Simons Island. We have wonderful memories of spending GA/FLA game weekends here, taking trips with our extended family and friends, and bringing both our children down for their first beach experiences. In spring of 2013 were visiting for spring break and stayed in Two if by Sea for the first time. We were immediately drawn to this unique home and its fantastic location in a neighorhood we've always loved. Noticing the property was for sale, we contacted the owner and the rest is history!
