INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Beach Time

Great location away from strip and pier park. Adequate parking. Beach access extremely close. Pools adequate. Unit was nice. Bed was way to soft. Probably needs a paint job. The ceiling shows signs of mildew or mold and should be investigated. Perfect for three adults and a three year old. Easy access from Highway 79

Nice place

Very up to date, great pools, the only thing I would change was the 2 lady security guards… they were so rude and hateful not only to me, my family, but others. It made things around the pool not so relaxing

Great experience

All around great trip to Emerald Isle Resort im definitely happy this was the locationi chose!!The resort had everything we needed, it was myself and 2 children (9 & 11) with one being special needs. This time of year wasn't over crowded and had great prices for our week stay. The condo itself was plenty big enough and kept up to date in all areas, there were a few small things I would say need some attention.... the shower walls could use a good scrub very slimy with left behind hair, the washer had mold around the door and unfortunately made some of our clothes smell musty then last the coffee table and stand by the door are very wobbly I was worried they were going to fall apart on us while there then we would be stuck paying for it. Thankfully they didnt. Other then those small things to work on it was fantastic and we will definitely stay at the resort again!!

Overall had a great time

The resort it self was great, very clean and well maintained, great location and everything close by. This unit over all was good, loved the couch, kitchen was well stocked, and the unit was clean. However, there are few things that would’ve made it great. The unit needs updating, especially in the main bathroom, baseboards looked moldy and vanity cabinets is in bad shape. There was not enough seating at the table and no bar chairs, even though it is listed for 8 people. Also, I was a bit disappointed that there was only a table with 4 chair and no other furniture to enjoy the beautiful view and a meal all together on the balcony. We had a big company and end up getting 5 different units in the same resort. The other units had the proper accommodation for the amount of people they listed and units were updated and cheaper. Also, the other 4 units provide chairs and umbrella on the beach, which was very nice. Overall, I loved the resort and would stay again just in a different unit.

Awful, roaches everywhere!!!!

I want to start by saying Pan Handle get always has been wonderful at finding us a new place to stay for the month. They have went above and beyond and appreciate it so much. When we got here on February 1, 2022 at @ 1:30 I called the office to see if we could by chance check in early, they said no that they had to check with cleaning and would send a new code to open the door if we could. No code was sent. 4:00 we came up to the room and tried to get in condo and pad would not work, tried several times, nothing, called the office the girl went through several things on the phone with me and nothing worked. They sent maintenance and nothing worked. Finally she got the door open at 5:20 but was told not to close it hard or leave because a locksmith was coming. We still had to unload our car and go to grocery store and we had been traveling all day. So we waited and the locksmith came did a few things and thought it was fixed and it quit working and he had to replace the whole lock. So by 8:30 we got back from the store and settled in. So we thought. I killed 2 cockroaches in the master bedroom and watched several crawl out of vents and down the walls. I have pics and videos.The TVs all had issues so we couldn’t watch them. The furniture is broke down. The couch should be thrown in the trash. Back to not being able to check in early because of cleaning, this place was not cleaned. Dust all over the end tables, coffee tables everything. We did have maintenance come spray for the roaches which they may have come from another condo if they sprayed I don’t think so because we have seen babies and eggs, feces etc. I’ve had to wipe down the counter tops several times and still wipe up feces. This has been totally disappointing in the owner of this condo. For what he charges he should take more pride in his place, I would be ashamed to rent something like this too people. I know people work hard for there money and to have a place not meet your standards is very disappointing. Owner should be ashamed he needs to replace all furniture and care about his place.

In need of repairs.

Very disappointed by this place. The furniture is broken down and old. Found roaches in the kitchen and mold in the closets and around the air vents. Thank sent a message to the property manager letting them know about the condition of the property and it took them two days to reply back by text saying that they are sorry but never sent anybody to fix the broken sofa that we couldn’t sleep on it because it was sagging.

A great location for families

The view was amazing. The location was great. You’re only minutes from all the action around Pier Park, or if you want to stay away from the crowds I’d say it’s at the more peaceful end of PCB. We had trouble getting into our room upon arrival we had been given the wrong key code and the toilet in the master bathroom didn’t work. But overall a great stay.

Great location, but the property needs updating.

The location was wonderful, but the unit is is dated and needed updating. Was disappointed with property management, sent an email the first day of a problem and now two weeks later have still have never received a reply.

Our three month stay for the winter was great. Liked our condo very much even though we had trouble with our door lock, had to have a new stove brought in, tub faucets in both bathrooms dripped, and we had to buy silverware as there was hardly any there, along with storage bowls.

Great view, disappointing kitchen

The kitchen was a disappointment I cooked a few meals for my family. The stove burners did not fit the stove, frying pan’s were warped, no dish rags provided, no salt and pepper, bring your own. There was no fitted sheet on one of the queen beds my kids had to sleep in. I will not stay here again

Condiments for cooking are NOT provided for any vacation rental as it is a potential heath hazard. We communicate all of this to all guests during and after a reservation is made as well as prior to arrival all guests receive information about the home and resort prior to their arrival which includes information related to what start up supplies (until one can get to the grocery). Beautiful balcony and views

I was pleased with our short stay. Check in was easy. The balcony off of the master and living area was by far the highlight. Nice shared hot tub on property as well. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and cookware. We encountered 2 problems during our stay. The washing machine had a strange odor, most likely needs a good cleaning. The other issue was the smoke detectors. One was sitting on the counter when we arrived, and the other in the family room wasn’t even there. It was worrisome, but I’m sure there is something in the works to fix it. All in all, we were pleased with our stay and would stay here again.

Our stay during Spring break 2019

Master bed was very comfy. That is all I can really say was positive. The other beds were horrible. The place was dirty. The furniture is very cheap and not worthy of a nice place like Emerald Isle. Not much kitchen utensils or other kitchen necessities. Will not stay here again. The place was not worth the extra money I paid to stay there.

Great property, great stay!

Two issues. Master bed. It is broken! The supports are broken. Was afraid we would end up on the floor! Second, and this might seem petty, but no Tupperware to use. Didn’t have anyplace to store leftovers when we did stay in and cook.
