Great location. Comfortable condo. AC in the bedroom worked as expected. Located on a pretty stretch of beach, got to watch turtles swimming by right in front of the condo. Would stay here again.

It did have a great view and the sea turtles were awesome, but it was also very small and hot. The window A/C in the bedroom was noisy and kept me awake.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view and location were amazing. We watched turtles from our patio. We were steps away from great snorkeling. The place was very well appointed with a well stocked kitchen. We absolutely loved this place, and were looking forward to 8 nights in paradise. Unfortunately, one night I was awoken by something crawling on me and found a bug on my mattress. I captured it to identify it. It was a bedbug. I brought it to the front desk the next morning. The woman at the front desk took the captured bug and took a picture of the bite on my arm. She told me management would get in touch. After a bit I finally heard back that they had had the unit inspected and were told that no bugs were found. Given that they had proof positive of a bedbug, I believe management is being quite lax. This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at this condo. It really is a wonderful place but I don't regret cutting this trip short. I do not like sleeping with bedbugs! I would have rated this 5 stars if it were not for the bedbug and lack of treatment.

This 1st week in December there were many people who have come back at the same time for many year and became our friends. Great atmosphere . Nice pool and location to many nice beaches. Loved cooking breakfast and eating on our lanai almost every morning. Walking to Bad *** coffee every morning. These become rituals. 2nd time at Kuleana we will go back again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here because the management would only let us rebook within the year rather than give us a refund when everything shut down. When we arrived, the management was very rude to guest about enforcing the mask rules, yet when the residents in the condo broke the same rules, they said nothing. Literally was told to put a mask on as I was dripping wet getting out of the ocean. I wish we didnā€™t have to stay there, but our only other option was to pay for the unit and not go, since they refused to refund us despite being in a world wide pandemic. I wish we could have rebooked at a different condo that at least had a sandy beach, more flexible management group.

Kuleana trip 2022

Our second time staying at Kuleana. We love it, very friendly, clean, quiet and relaxing. Location is great, midway between Kapalua and Kaanapali - both within walking distance or a short drive from beaches and hiking spots. Condo has pretty much everything you need, bed is super comfortable. Laundry services are on-site. We'll be back for sure. DF

Lovely view, everything as pictured

As soon as we walked in, we said "wow". The view from the unit was just like in the picture, if not better. We ate at the table on the balcony everyday enjoying the ocean view. We loved our stay. It had everything we needed. The sofa bed was comfortable. We spent hours looking at the turtles everyday. We swam with them too. We found the body boards and mini cooler very useful.

Best unit stayed in several by far my favorite location at the Kuleana

Beautiful property unfortunately there is no sand left on the beach. The views are incredible and itā€™s a great turtle šŸ¢ spotting area also great for whale watching. The pool is also a awesome spot surrounded in lush palm trees and plumeria. Only issue I had was the amount of construction work in the above unit and the maintenance guys seem to go a bit overboard. Overall a great location & my all time favorite unit Iā€™ve stayed in out of 12 units so far.

Kuleana Getaway

This unit is decorated beautifully and the view from the lanai at sunset is spectacular. We had more family members staying in other Kuleana units and ours was the favorite hangout. Only thing I missed was an oven...good excuse not to cook. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Maui Vacation

The location of this condo was great and the biggest plus was that itā€™s directly on a sea turtle sanctuary. You walk out the back porch and the beach is right there. There were multiple gas grills overlooking the ocean which we took advantage of at sunset. The condo was clean and had modern amenities. It also had a stock of Hawaiian music on cdā€™s ready for your listening. It was an absolute pleasure being able to spend our honeymoon here and we miss it already!

Beautiful view quiet property

The checkin process was easy and smooth. Amazing communication from the owner. The condo had an amazing view and was right on the water. You can wake up and have your coffee on the patio and be the only thing between you and the water. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities needed. If youā€™re looking for a quite place to vacation this is a great spot. When I say ā€œquite spotā€ this is great if your there for R&R but not great if youā€™re there to vacation and have fun. The security came by 3 times while we were on the property to tell us we were too loud and that we needed to keep it down. We were there for 6 days. First time we were eating dinner at 8pm inside with 2 other couples....just eating dinner and talking. Second time we were out on the patio at our friends parents room after dinner (9pm) talking and having drinks. Third time we were at the look around 8pm with not one other person at the pool listening to a little music with our Bluetooth speaker. Unfortunately you canā€™t have music or even be on your phone by the pool. Note there was no one at the pool and 2 of us were very quite. This is a wonderful condo and great for couples or family that are looking for a quite vacation.

Magical spot in Maui

We loved this unit - incredible sunset views from the lanai. The property was very mellow even though we were visiting in early August. The pool was never crowded nor was the small beach just to the south of the property. Itā€™s an amazing little beach / bay that was also never crowded and was perfect for swimming and sunbathing. We rented kayaks from the recommended place and he delivered and picked them up quickly. So glad we did that. The only drawback to the unit was how hot it got inside. We were under the impression there was air conditioning through the unit- there is a small wall mounted cooler in the bedroom only, leaving the main room quite hot during our stay. Since youā€™re in Maui youā€™ll want to be out most of the time anyhow but it sure wouldā€™ve been better to have cool air in the unit throughout. We usually stay in Napili so this was a little bit of a gamble and it definitely paid off. It was more quiet and serene.

Great location if you want to swim with the Honu.

Property is exactly as described and as shown in the photographs. We were more than satisfied with this property; it was clean, comfortable, and is in a great location only steps away from the beach (or pool). Let me tell you about the beach (or cove, actually). It's is full of turtles (Honu) swimming around in shallow water. This is a great place to snorkel and get up close to these magnificent creatures. In the afternoon, they'll come ashore and warm themselves in the sand. What a sight to behold, and only steps away from this condo. Needless to say, I highly recommend this facility; you won't be disappointed.
