ALOHA AND WELCOME TO HALE KAI # 108





Hale Kai # 108, our “home by the sea”, was decorated to reflect the charm of old Hawaii but with all of the comforts of home – flat panel TV, DVD player, free wi-fi, a fully equipped kitchen and all linens provided.


Our lanai looks out on the Pacific Ocean and Honokowai Park. Swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing and tidepooling are steps away at our beach. Turtles feed off our reef. Sunsets and whale watching are popular activities at Hale Kai.


Our kitchen was remodeled in 2011 with all new appliances, travertine floors and granite countertops. The bathroom includes an oversize walk-in shower.

The kitchen was well furnished with plenty of dishes and cookware. Faces the afternoon sun so fortunate there was a shade screen to roll down. Screen was torn a little and as soon as we mentioned it, someone was out to fix it. Location is walkable to many coffee and food spots. Easy to forget about the pool from this unit since you don't see it from your door but it's great!

Perfect location on calm beach next to park. Unit was clean and exactly as advertised. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of linens for our stay. Very happy and would book again!

Wonderful spot

Hale Kai is a wonderful location. When🤘the wind was blowing the pool was awesome and when it was calm the beach was right out my door. Everything I needed was close enough to walk to. If there wasnt a toddler upstairs wailing and running around the entire time, it would have perfect. I love kids but next time I book, it will not be on the bottom floor. Live and learn!! Aloha nui and a hui hou 🌺

The place was super clean and the condo had everything I needed iron, towels, coffee makers, pots, pans, plates fully equipped with everything a hotel has plus more.

Building needs TLC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location but clearly is an aging building and needs some TLC to bring it back up to standards. We weren't given linens to use at the beach until two days into our stay (the office isn't open on holidays and they were some how missed on setting up our room). Water wasn't drinkable as the attachment on the taps was disintegrating and pieces of plastic were coming off. Screen door no longer slides well on track so you end up pushing off the screen portion of the door.We would consider returning due to the excellent location but if Hale Kai could make some upgrades it could be a five star property.
