The complex boasts a newly remodeled heated pool, workout room, three jacuzzi, one contiguous to this condo with ocean view. Golf, boat marina, luxury hotels and library, movies, dining, trader Joes, Costco all near. Kitchen has dishwasher, disposal, microwave, ice maker, electric oven, and baking sheets; full ocean view, bar top eating, as well as a family built- in kitchen nook for congregating and playing your board games (provided). My husband and I stayed for a week here and we were very comfortable. The beds, towels, tv selections, view and well stocked kitchen were a hit!The only complaint, that others had also mentioned, is that you are on a bottom unit, so you hear noise upstairs. This wouldn’t stop us from coming back though. Enjoyed very much!

Great property with amazing views. Mary was great and answered all of our questions. She was a wonderful host. We enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of coffee in the morning looking at the ocean. Home was well stocked with everything necessary for a beautiful and relaxing stay.

This was the fourth time we stayed at this condo - which must speak for itself. The renting process was easy through Mary. The condo is clean. Bright, well equipped and has a great view.Parking is easy and the place feels safe and secure. We’ll return.

This is a wonderful condo with a great location & a beautiful view. We loved sitting on the patio & enjoying the view. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed. Nice walk to the beach & we appreciated the beach chairs & umbrella provided. Mary was great to work with & gave us some recommendations of places to go. We would definitely stay here again!

Great views

The condo was clean and well put together. We enjoyed the views so much! Mattresses were great, plenty of sheets, towels and bedding. You have to drive to everything except the hot tub and pool. We didn’t walk the mile long path to the beach it was just easier to drive to the beach, 7 minutes away. I gave four stars for check-in because of the guard at the gate to get into the complex. Upon arriving, my name was at the gate and I was allowed in. However, my husband and daughter in another car were not allowed in until the property manager authorized it, even with the same last name they were not given access. It was taken care of finally but it was a let down.

great place to relax and enjoy the view

fantastic view of of the Monarch Beach area and the Pacific ocean, Condo is fairly quiet, there's an unit above, but not very noticeable. Unit is well equipped, the outdoor furniture and beds could be a little nicer. It definitely needs a pest control service to help with the spiders. The Hot tub is very clean and close by and is not very busy.Manager is great to work with, very easy to reach.

Great stay and location.

Really enjoyed this rental with my family. Location is great, the house was clean and the view was spectacular. There was a little upstairs noise early in the morning, but it was very minor and didn’t disturb us. Communication with the host was very quick. We’ll definitely look for this one again in future stays.

Better than I hoped

We had been looking for an opportunity to stay at this condo because of the incredible view. Everything was perfect. Many things recently updated including new mattresses and very comfortable sheets. Mary the property manager was very helpful and immediately responsive. We cannot wait to stay again next year!

Constant noise

The unit is adequate, but in dire need of a deep cleaning, all of the white furnishings are dirty and stained. But no matter what the unit looks like inside after descending the story and a half of stairs to get to it, nothing can make up for the CONSTANT NOISE from the unit above. The clomping starts at 4 am and is constant. There is no soundproofing between the units. My husband and I are so exhausted from lack of sleep, never have I been so glad to leave a place.

Bare Minimum Not Luxury!!

About this property description is NOT current, (This condominium has new and beautiful furnishings) Not at all! Everything is very outdated and is definitely showing its age from the living room furniture (uncomfortable and old), dinner room pillows (stained), bedrooms mattresses, and bedding. Less Flamino's (we counted a total of 40 awful), less fake plants! Kitchen equipment was rusty, dirty and bare minimum. We pulled several items out to use (from coffee cups, wine glasses, plates, pots/pans) and everything we pulled out was dirty. The security system within the condo consisted of wooden sticks in the 3 sliding glass doors because the doors wouldn't lock on their own. From a hygiene perspective the tracks within the doors and windows have never been cleaned. The highlighted BBQ within the description is not a BBQ but a George Foreman electric grill. Master bathroom needs a full update. The shower consists of a clear plastic shower curtain. The extra's the unit comes with are rusty, torn and outdated. A $500 spend in this unit for new kitchen essentials, beach essentials would do wonders. I do have to say that the Property Manager, Mary was great to work with. She was quick, direct and did provide items that were requested timely.

Great family location

The condo was as advertised, it was clean and comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we would need. Lovely view from the patio. We love the walk down to beach from the condo and also the proximity to some of our favorite beaches, restaurants and shops in the area.

What a View!

So glad we stayed at this property! The location was great for us to go all around Orange County. The unit itself was perfect for us. We didn’t eat in much and whatever we needed was available. Particularly liked having the beach chairs, beach towels, toys and umbrella available. Nice to be right near the condo hot tub and sunning area. Would stay again. Thanks for sharing it!

Not as described.

If you like dirt,spiders and webs (with a nearby rat observed), doors that fall off,plastic plants ,and a total lack of cleanliness or appeal, you might consider renting this unit or in this tired,old community. We have nothing good to say about our stay.

She has recently gotten interested in turning this into a vacation rental, and had the entire property redone. The photos show how beautiful it is, and comfortable. She hopes you will enjoy your stay in Monarch Beach's luxury neighborhood. She travels a lot and especially enjoys Chicago and Hawaii's climbing trails.

When this property became available, Anna came down fast to secure one of the best views in Dana Point. OVERLOOKING the Links golf and the Monarch Beach Resort Hotel and Spa , full view to ocean and Catalina Island. One day she will retire here, but in the meantime, it's yours to enjoy.

Anna enjoys the privacy and security this area affords. We have a 24 hour gate attendant and private garage. Unspoiled view of the ocean and golf course. Next to the Monarch Beach Resort hotel & Golf . The Nature Trail runs through the Golf Course. You pass a duck filled lake, and a snack bar (grilled burgers, etc). The hotel runs a tram you can catch mid way if you want. They have "trolley stops here" signs posted along the path.
