Cozy little home snuggled in the mountains, with reat mountain views. The kitchen had everything i needed placed in a logical place. The bed was super comfy. We had a lively time at the Shenandoah National Park, and the Shenandoah River State Park, both minutes away.

Loved the location, the layout of the house etc. the hosts were very nice and friendly and allowed us a slightly later checkout when we requested it. For the fees we were charged, the house was lacking substantial cleanliness and also did not include linens, which left us wondering what the cleaning fees were really going to. All of the silverware we used had to be rewashed before we used it and same with the plates. The rotating shelf with the kitchen pots and pans was filthy and also made us want to rewash all of the pans before using. For the cost of this cabin, we would have expected a much higher standard of cleanliness.

Fantastic stay

We really enjoyed our stay! The Chalet was peaceful, clean, and perfect in every way. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view.Location was perfect, near Luray caverns and Shenandoah Park.Thank you for allowing us to stay there. It was a wonderful getaway.

The area is absolutely gorgeous and the views from the deck and balcony are stunning. The cabin itself is cozy and quiet with plenty of places to relax and enjoy listening to the river, trees, and birds. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise, relaxing in the hot tub, and wading in the river with our dog. Overall, a lovely place to refresh.

Anniversary at The Chalet

The Chalet offers a variety of cozy spots to enjoy an anniversary weekend -- outside on the deck with a great view of the mountains, a hot tub for soothing legs tired from hiking, a screened-in porch, and a mini living room w TV and streaming. We enjoyed relaxing in all of these spots, plus cooking in the well-furnished kitchen. Thanks to the owners for easy communication and logistics.

Perfect Getaway!

We spent two night, and the place was wonderful. The views of the mountains are magical. The location is great, and close to so many attractions. Highly recommend a visit here.

Great mountain getaway

The cottage was perfect for our quick getaway. Close to Shenandoah Valley National Park and the caverns. Love the porches and views. The space felt bigger than the photos even show! All the amenities we needed were available and the space was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The Chalet was truly a perfect weekend getaway! We stayed two nights with our dog, Meeko, who had the time of his life exploring. The Chalet was beautiful, clean, and private. We enjoyed a trip to the caverns which was very convenient and spent the rest of the time at the cabin. There were board games which we played endlessly and the firepit was awesome. We roasted hot dogs and smores and enjoyed the outdoor space. The hot tub was clean and the relaxing. The views were just magical. A 10/10 stay at the Chalet!

Woodside Cabins is family owned and operated. Olga and I have been in the vacation cabin business for 20 years and take great pride in our properties. I grew up in the area and we both have a deep love and appreciation for the Blue Ridge Mountains and our beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

The Chalet offers one of the most beautiful sunrise views in the Shenandoah Valley. From almost all the living spaces in the cabin you can take in the spectacular view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.There is a large screen porch jsut off the kitchen with new wicker furniture and a table for 4.

The Chalet offers one of the most beautiful sunrise/moonrise views in the valley. If you wake early enough you can take your coffee to the hot tub and watch the sun come up over the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the evening the sun reflects off the mountains and the play of light is breathtaking.
