Breathtaking big waterfront home with private pool!

Our gorgeous Marathon home is available all year round. This home has 4 bedrooms and three full bathrooms with the master suite having its own private bathroom. The house sleeps up to 10 people. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the 2nd bedroom has 2 queen size beds and the remaining 2 bedrooms have a queen size bed each.

Upstairs there is a huge den for gathering and watching TV.

The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with plates, pots, pans, utensils and everything else needed for your convenience.

The house has a private pool and a jacuzzi with jets and soothing waterfalls for your relaxation. There is a tiki hut right by the pool for your enjoyment. There is plenty of dock space for 1 boat or watercraft. Outside we have a fish cleaning station and an industrial ice maker that is at your disposal. There is also a well lit, covered cooking area with a brand new Stainless steel BBQ with four burners and a side grill for all of your outdoor cooking needs.

Price is typically $3,800 to $6,000 per week (premium dates are mini lobster season, Thanksgiving, opening lobster season, Christmas, and New Years), plus taxes and cleaning fee. There is also an additional $800.00 security deposit, which is refundable if there are no damages, beyond normal wear and tear. Please note that this home rentals on weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday.

All my guests love my home! In fact, most of my customers are repeat customers which have been coming year after year since I first started renting this special vacation home. I will do everything I can to make your visit to my home a memorable one, so don't miss out and reserve your vacation early.

The boat ramp is on the bay side on 33rd Street (traffic light). The boat ride takes about 10-15 min, under the 7 mile bridge. If you want to make a reservation, email me and I'll Email you the information for the deposit and the rental agreement. PLR2013-00048

Great family trip

This was the perfect place for my family and I to stay while attending a wedding in Marathon. The pool was lovely and the canal was perfect for kayaking and manatee sightings.

Annual family getaway

Met all our blocks in location and amenities (pool, wharf, rooms). Dated, but generally well maintained other than issues with appliances (dishwasher did not work, stove smoked on initial use).

Family vacation

Property was as listed, pool and hot tub was wonderful and very warm. We enjoyed location and the easy drive to grocery stores. Quiet neighborhood. I’ve stayed in many VRBOs which have always had a “starter” kit of supplies, we had to go to store right away as there was only 1 roll of toilet paper for all 3 bathrooms which was almost gone. Not the end of the world. The house was large and the outside was great for sunbathing, playing cards and just relaxing. We enjoyed our week away from the cold Wisconsin winter

Just PERFECT

We were greeted by a family of manatee that live in the canal as we arrived and knew it was going to be a great stay from the beginning .Such a great house for our trip and the location is central to just about everything on Marathon. Tachy, the owner is an amazing host - so friendly and helpful with suggestions! The home is clean and has plenty of room for spreading out. The beds are very comfortable. We won't hesitate to stay there again when we make it back to Marathon!

Great vacation spot!

The house is located near the open water, you can sit on the back deck and see it. Absolutely beautiful! The house was very spacious and accommodated our two families. The outside deck layout was really nice, especially with the pool, hot tub, Tiki bar, dock, and even the ice machine. The owner responded very quickly to messages needing her attention. We would definitely stay there again in the future. We highly recommend it to others.

Great space for a Great Family New Year =)

Julio's home was perfect for us. We have been spending a quiet family New Years in the keys for the past 6 years. The space is large and the outside space is wonderful..!! Julio is always at hand for any questions or help you may need. He's an extremely nice and polite man. Thank you for allowing our family to have a beautiful holiday =) =)

Excellent location for a fisherman and their family!

The property is in an excellent location, the exterior is very comfortable for a fisherman, because it has an ice machine, a fish cleaning area has great lighting, a comfortable well lighted covered place to cook outside with a sink and a nice patio table to gather and eat there, if you like. It also has a nice Tiki Bar with Hightop chairs by the pool. The pool has a shallow area that is great for small kids to play in the water. The inside of the house has a lot of comfortable areas for the family to gather too. The kitchen has new appliances and cookware, so that you don't have to worry about bringing your own. The bathroom downstairs conveniently has a washer and dryer. The host Tachy, was very communicative, before, during and after our stay. Any questions, were answered quickly and she was very nice! We appreciate the host sharing her vacation home with us and we hope to visit again soon!

Pros and Cons

We had 2 families of 4 and my mom staying at the house. PROS-The house was great for space it gave kids & adults to spread out. Outdoor area is nice, tiki hut is fun at night, the hot tub & pool were definitely used daily despite some heating issues with the pool. Plenty of towels for pool & bath. The hosts were kind (put up a Christmas Tree for us)& responsive. Unfortunately we had to have many interactions, which brings me to the cons.CONS - The home is not well cleaned. We found drawings from past visitors under furniture that was easy to see, ALL of the MANY cabinets in the home need to be cleaned out. There is dust (or maybe mold) collecting on the walls in the upstairs hallway near the fans.(bathrooms seemed pretty clean) There is only the one roll of tp & pt that is left for you. There are NO extra sheets, so with our group of 9, my 2 sons didn't want to sleep together & we didn't have extra bedding to use on a couch at first. Then the issues we had, I think they could be unique to our stay, maybe b/c of visiting over the holiday, but with the issues that came up there was no one nearby to take care of them, including a complete power failure. My husband ended up fixing the pool heater that stopped working. For the issues we had we were given an extra set of sheets, 4 rolls of tp & 1 pt, & 100 for the pool heater issues. I would have rather not had to deal with any of that on vacation. Bottomline, it is time to put some & time into the home. It needs some TLC.

Beautiful place to stay and close to everything!

The property is exactly as pictured. Very nice pool and hot tub. Large patio to lounge on and a pier you can fish from. The house is perfect with 4 large bedrooms and nice big bathrooms. Great Florida feel!!

AMAZING!

This was our first VRBO rental. Tachy is the best host ever. She answered my emails with any questions right away. She's a sweetheart. The house was very cozy and comfortable. We stayed in the beautiful patio all day and night just hanging out. There's 2 different areas to hang out. That was great because the girls hung out in one side and the guys in the other while they BBQ and fished. This was a family get together and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay again!

A windy Marathon trip

Very comfortable home for a fun and relaxing time!

Booking, check-in and checkout were a breeze. The unit is roomy and well furnished, nicely located halfway between Miami and Keywest. The pool, spa and deck area were great to enjoy the fantastic weather.

Wonderful experience!

Our family rented the house with another family for eight days. Our kids range in age from 5-13 and this house was perfect. The outdoor area was great for everyone, beach and groceries were minutes away, and tons of options for food and drink. The owner was wonderful to work with she provided us insight into area activities and checked in to make sure everything was going well. She truly opened her home to us and we appreciated it.

Clean and Spacious !!!

House was clean and ready to use. Plenty of room with upstairs and downstairs sitting area. Kitchen utensils and appliances were all that was needed for cooking. Variety of bed options. Pool and hot tub were clean and warm (extra $$). Fish from the dock area. Outdoor grill was nice bonus. Outdoor seating space is abundant.

Rekaxing getaway

The house itself has a great layout for a large family or group of friends, with 2 living rooms and plenty of outdoor space to gather, it is very clean, has a heated pool and jacuzzi, great dock space for a boat which we had & a must in a Keys home, a commercial ice machine. We had a great time during our stay, we boated, fished & we went to Sombrero beach which is only a few miles away. The house is outdated in decor, it shows it's age but we weren't there for the decor. The house is close to the Marathon airport so keep that in mind. The owner Tachy is friendly & easy to get a hold of with any question you might have. Enjoy yoyr stay, we did

I initially bought this home as a vacation home for my family. As all the kids grew up, I realized they were not coming as often. So I saw an opportunity to share my home with others. I then discovered VRBO and began to rent my home so that other families can share great moments.

Generally. I would greet my guests upon arrival. Most of my guests are repeat customers and are more like an extended family to me as they have been coming for many years. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic I understand that this personal touch is not warranted. However, I am in constant communication with my guests ensuring that all their vacation expectations are met.

I keep my home in immaculate condition for my guests as it is not only a rental property for me, but the house I plan to live in when I retire.

If you want a home for your vacation where you deal with the owner at all times, who is committed to you and your family enjoying your vacation, then this is the home for your next vacation.
