A wonderful opportunity to stay right in Historic Old Town Cottonwood—walk to wine-tasting rooms, shops, and restaurants just steps from the front door.

This unique property offers three separate living spaces under one roof. It includes two 2-bedroom, 1-bath homes (one upstairs and one downstairs), each with its own private entrance, plus a separate private king suite with its own bathroom on the lower level. The front home and the king suite are handicap accessible. Please note children cannot stay in one of the units without an adult present.

Stay together while still enjoying your own private space—the perfect blend of connection and privacy.

With hundreds of 5-star reviews, this home is truly one of a kind in Cottonwood. Everything Old Town has to offer is within easy walking distance, yet the property provides a rare sense of space, privacy, and comfort you won’t find anywhere else.

We had an amazing stay at The Prickly Pear Guesthouse! The home was the perfect size for our group of eight. Spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location truly can’t be beat: walking distance to tasting rooms, shops, and restaurants, which made our weekend so easy and fun. The owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating, answering questions quickly and making sure everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. I would definitely book this home again!

Stayed with my girlfriend, sister & her husband, my cousin & her husband, a buddy and his wife and another friend. It was a great place to stay as we all had our own spaces to relax in and then get together in themai house for meals and fun. The outdoor area was great to hang out and play games too. We had a lovely time at this home. The living space and outdoor gathering area were very well appointed. There were a couple times when the WiFi was spotty but that didn’t last long. We walked to downtown a couple of times to shop and eat. I highly recommend staying at this home!

Amazing Destination

We stayed at this property with a few of our friends and absolutely fell in love. Perfect location for a walk down to old town Cottonwood tasting rooms, or get picked up for a tour of wine country in our own backyard of Arizona. Great space, great location, ample parking!

This space is fantastic for a group! We instantly felt at home. It has a great set up with nice indoor and outdoor areas to gather while everyone had their private space to escape as needed. The location is ideal as it is walkable to the restaurants and tasting rooms of Old Town. While we didnt prepare any meals in, the kitchens appeared to be fully stocked. We will definitely return!

REALLY great property! The hosts were very nice and they provide wonderful amenities that I have not received at other places I’ve stayed. Snacks, razors, toothbrushes, bottles of water. We loved it!

The Prickly Pear was a perfect base for an annual gathering of 50-something gals. It was comfortable and cute and well-equipped. We loved the outdoor spaces and amenities. Glen was immediately responsive to our questions. I felt like I had hit a home run by choosing this property for my out-of-state friends to enjoy along with all the Verde Valley has to offer.

Kim and Glen’s space is perfect! We struggled finding a place to accommodate 12 and within budget… until we found the Prickly Pear. Every detail was thoughtful and they did phenomenal with communication. Clean, neat and spacious. The outdoor set up was the icing on the cake. Thanks again for a great stay!
