******Fully remodeled Condo pictures coming soon!!!***** This first floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. Because of its central location, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbecues. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our two bedroom units sleep a maximum of six people. The master bedroom is furnished with one king size bed with a 50" flat screen TV with HD, while the guest bedroom has two full size beds with a 50" flat screen TV with HD. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower and the guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The living room is equipped with a 80" flat screen TV with FIOS HDTV service for your enjoyment. It is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster and a coffee maker and a Keurig. There is carpeting in the two bedrooms and the balance of the unit is tiled. The comfortably furnished patio is screened-in so that you and your family can enjoy our lovely tropical breezes.

Summer weekend in Siesta

It wasn’t what I expected

We were a party of 6 adults 2 married couples and 2 other adults we needed the 2 bedrooms to have queen beds in both bedrooms which was not the case when I arrived. Management helped and found a suitable solution promptly.

They creak when you sit or stand, or even turn. They also have an indentation. Other than that, it was nice. FYI: unit does not include paper towel or sponge.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Palm Bay Club is in the middle of everything you need in Siesta Keys. Perfect walking distance to either the Village or bridge area. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. We rented #153 which is perfectly in the middle; short walk to the amazing beach and a short walk to the pool/Pickleball courts. The condo's general condition was good, but the master bedroom's furniture is old and needs an update. Head boards weren't attached to (small) double beds, which doesn't work for tall adults (5'9"& 6'1") Second bedroom with twin beds is nice.

Had 4 of the 5 of us there become ill we think from the air....Bedrooms would not get proper air at night so had to get a fan. There was a family upstairs with 4 adults and 4 children that were constantly making loud food traffic. Front desk gals very helpful as usual.

The heated pool was wonderful for chilly days in December. The private beach with complimentary chairs and loungers was great so we didn’t have to haul our own down. Our unit was nice with mostly everything we needed. It was nice to have a place to park our vehicle near our unit and there is overflow parking at the front for guests. The resort is very close to the trolley stop to take to the village. A few recommendations for the unit would be some new pans because they’re all scratched up and I didn’t feel comfortable cooking with them and electrical updates. The lamps and outlets in the master bathroom didn’t work. The hair dryer on the wall in master bath didn’t work but they supplied a dryer under the counter.

Relaxing vacation but condo needs fixing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third year staying at the Palm Bay club.We had some issues with this condo. 1) The slider wouldn't lock. After bringing this to the attention to the office it was quickly fixed. 2) If you want hot or even warm water to use in the kitchen this is not the condo for you. The only way to get hot water for washing dishes was to heat water in a pot on the stove. 3) The kitchen sink does not hold any water to wash dishes either. 4) Make sure to bring sealing containers if you have any food you don't want bugs in. We set a pack of doughnuts on the counter and within an hour it was infested with tiny bugs. Everything else was nice with the condo.

Condo Unit 153: DO NOT RENT THIS

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very unhappy with Condo 153. The unit badly needs upgrading. This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Palm Bay; we never had issues with our previous condo units. On this trip, our extended family was distributed into SIX condo units. Apart from ours, everyone's unit had been upgraded, tidy, pleasant, with comfortable beds and linens.Unit 153 is dilapidated with peeling, crumbling corners. The water pressure is poor, there were ants in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were saggy, the sheets were thin and scratchy; we had difficulty sleeping. There were 4 beds in the unit, all unfit for guests. I spoke to the office in the morning after our first night. They attempted to help but the solutions did not work for us.We requested a discounted rate. The staff said they spoke to the owners who refused any discount. We liked our stay because we were with family and we love the beach. But we were very disappointed and very uncomfortable in this condo unit. I strongly suggest guests avoid Unit 153. It is not fit for guests.

Reviewer Comments: Dissappointing customer experience for the amount of money spent. 1) only given one pod for dishwasher- please provide 5 pods, and any left-over can be left in the unit - the cost to management is minimal 2) BBQ's are charcoal - very dated and again a cheap approach - they should be propane, or the management should have a common stockpile of charcoal - a short term stay guest shouldnt have to buy a bag of charcoal and starter fluid or electric starter which won't be fully used 3) a notice to owners should go out: it's been over 30 years... perhaps its time to change the mattresses in their units - ours were too soft and led to a poor sleep. - also a minimal stockpile would be nice: a bottle opener perhaps attached to the fridge to avoid pilferring, some salt and pepper and some sugar would be minimal cost

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have vacation there for over 40 years. Love the place, but this year the Condo Condition was terrible most lights did not work, appliances are terrible, silverware, plates and cookware are terrible. For the nightly rate we paid i feel it should be in better conditions so it could be enjoyable. It was not i was going to extend my stay and did not because of it. Will not be returning any time soon.
