Palm Bay unit 170

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was exactly as presented in the description. Very well appointed with bonus beach umbrella, thank you for that! The unit was clean and comfortable. It's proximity to the beautiful beach was just a short walk to the crystal clear water and sugar white sand.The staff is friendly and so helpful. We enjoyed our time immensely and can't wait to return! Our only complaint was the mattresses could due for replacement. The master had a hump in the middle and the 2nd bedroom mattress had a large dip making it uncomfortable sleeping..new mattresses would make this unit perfect. We had guests spend the day with us and the staff was very accommodating to them. The check in process after hours was very easy as well. If there were more than 5 stars possible we would have gladly rated our stay higher! Thank you for making our family vacation so memorable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 170 was very nice and clean but the master bathroom was outdated and shower head was terrible. The TV on the living area was outdated. It would have been nice if it was a smart tv. In the other bedroom, one of the mattresses was broken down and the bed squeaked terribly every time you moved. Definitely needs a new mattress.

Great location and wonderful stay

The Palm Bay Club was a beautiful resort. The grounds were immpeccably kept. The swimming pool was nice and large. Our individual unit was nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Even though the washer and dryer were not in the unit it was in our building and we had no problem using it. It was nice having beach loungers and chairs. And helpful that there was someone on the beach who moved the chairs for you. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Great Place for 2022 but Too Expensive for 2023

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great condo, comfortable and clean furnishings. Good location with private beach access. Overall very nice clean complex but terrible access to old dirty charcoal grills. Palm Bay should have gas grills like other complexes. We would love to come back in 2024 but a two bedroom condo went from $2,500/week in 2023 to $3,850 per week in 2024. That's almost a 54% increase! We will be looking for more reasonable accommodations for next year. We heard from several other multi-year renters that were unhappy with the increase and were planning to stay somewhere else.

Very disappointed!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived on 1/3/23 at about 12:30 we were told our condo #170 was not ready since they were cleaning it and we would have to wait till it was ready. The desk staff said we could leave our luggage in the office. We sat out at the pool since we didn't have any transportation available till our cousins arrived with our car. By around 3:00 pm the condo was ready and one of the security guards was kind enough to load our luggage in a golf cart and took us to the building and helped us get everything into our unit. He was great! When we got somewhat settled we noticed that everything in the unit was very dated and in poor condition. The pictures on the website must have been taken 25 years ago. On top of that, the entire unit was filthy. Dust everywhere. Thick enough to write in. Every register in the unit was covered with dirt. The bathrooms were moldy! The kitchen was ok but but not enough cups and utensils for 4 people without running the dishwasher every day. The dishwasher was so loud that you could not hold a conversation in the livingroom. Since the office was closed by the time we discovered how run down and dirty the office was closed. The next morning the office sent a young lady to clean the unit but she did not speak enough English to understand what was wrong. Finally the GM came over and was very surprised at the condition of the unit. Since they didn't have another unit available he sent a cleaning crew over and supervised the cleaning. They did the best they could but you can't clean old and worn out. The GM agreed and we agreed on an adjustment to the rental price. The condition of the unit really ruined our vacation!!

Perfect condo in Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were 3 of us staying so there was plenty of room. There is a nice pol and workout area. This condo is not far from the beach. The beach has staff that will help you with beach loungers. We rented an umbrella for the week. Booking and check-in were very easy. The staff is friendly. Maintenance came when we called about the icemaker not working and the water filter that alarmed the whole time we were there (it did not get replaced all week) There are coolers and beach/pool toys. ample glasswear and plates etc. We would stay here again.

Chairs & lounges brought to your preferred spot by courteous staff. We were given access to our condo as quickly as it was available, which was awesome considering we arrived early. We stayed in #170 - the condo was exactly as pictured. Very clean. Fantastic little kitchen. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the screened in porch. Minor improvement- the condo needs a full length mirror. I mean we need to check out our beach bods in our new bathing suits & new tans, ya know!.We spent all our time at the beach, so we didn't use the pool, although it looked nice & water was clear.We are so happy we decided to stay here.. very comfortable.. easy short drive to local shopping & restaurants. We had a fantastic time & incredibly happy with our choice.

Palm Bay Paradise on Siesta Key

Door handle broke fixed in one hr. Cleaning crew excellent. Booked for next year. Plenty of entertainment and restaurants close. St Armen’s fun to shop and lunch. It’s our 17 year at Palm Bay. Need I say Moore!!! Also, our guest booked for next year.

Siesta Key Gem

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice accommodations. The property grounds, pool, tennis courts and beach area are well maintained. This unit is closer to the pool and tennis courts than to the beach. However, the beach is only a block away without crossing any streets, so no big deal. We fixed our breakfasts throughout the week and had most of our dinners at restaurants in Sarasota, our favorite being Siegfried's.Being a corner property, this unit is larger than previous units I have rented in the past at The Palm Bay Club. A nice spacious screened in balcony is a big plus. The unit is very clean and everything in the unit is in good working order. Will look to stay in this unit again when visiting the Sarasota area.

Beautiful 2 Bedroom Unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over the years, Palm Bay Club on gulf side has been our favorite Florida beach vacation resort. This unit is halfway between the pool and the beach. Parking is just around the corner. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils, cooking tools, dishes, pans, and even coffee filters! We especially enjoyed the new engineered flooring in lieu of carpet. Both bathrooms had nice walk-in showers. The security team provides safety and ensures beach privacy. As always, our family had a wonderful, relaxing vacation!

Disrespectful and Dirty

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I grew up at Siesta Key, it had Been a few years we all got together. The Palm Bay Club has always had a good reputation and we have stayed numerous times. I went last year for a 4 day weekend and stayed at the towers and the room was disgustingly dirty,.. I called front desk and had them come in and clean it again of how bad it was.. This year, my cousin reserved at the Palm Bay for 10 days and my wife and decided to return (with our own cleaning products).. the property is under new management, to be honest they were extremely rude except one woman at the front desk that was very nice and helpful.. I had my brother come and stay with me for a weekend, we asked for a Parking pass, things escalated very quickly... When I spoke with the manager and I said I Wouldn’t be returning, his reply was “it’s ok, you’ll be replaced” I was threatened to be evicted.. after the whole dilemma, the manager called and said not to worry.. then at the end of the week as my wife and I were checking under the beds and behind nightstands to make sure our kids didn’t leave anything behind.. we found dirty diaper under the bed in the master ( our kids are 10 & 6) no diapers and in the kids room ( used masks that were blue) we had black ones.. We love Siesta Key but will never be returning to the Palm Bay Club, I don’t think it matters to them all though we had 7 units rented for a week and some longer.. I was told we can be easily replaced..

Location, Location!

We loved Siesta Key and the location of the property. It was nicely furnished and had just about everything you would need for the beach. If I were to come back again, I would pick a corner 3rd floor unit to eliminate the noise from above. I would have also loved to have had our own washer and dryer. Overall, we had a great time - thank you!

Awesome!

We have not even left yet and I wanted to tell you how wonderful this unit and how much fun we are having! The condo is very clean and the beds are super comfortable. Everything you need is here and the complex is beautiful. The palm trees that line the walkway up to the beach are amazing. The beach is divine. The sand is so soft and the water fabulous. Tomorrow we are trying paddle boarding on the beach which should be a lot of fun for us and the kids. Thanks again for having a well kept unit!!

Beautiful Accomodations

If you are going to stay in Florida, then this is the place. The condo is very clean and spacious with a screened in porch that makes for a very relaxing evening. The beach and pool are both within a football field of your door. The beach itself is like paradise, imagine walking in powdered sugar! This property is perfect for anyone who wants to relax and get away for awhile. On the bay side, the fishing is phenomenal, I caught a fish on almost every cast. Best time to fish is between 3-6 p.m. The best way I can sum this up is: My 14 year old was laying in the sand just enjoying herself when I asked her what time she thought it was, her reply was "who cares".

A wonderful Thanksgiving

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful extended Thanksgiving break at the Palm beach Club. The unit was spotless, beautifully decorated and fully updated. The location is perfect and close to everything. Thanks for a wonderful time and we hope to come back soon.
