This 1 bedroom/1 bath oceanfront condo is the perfect St. Augustine getaway for a romantic couple or small family! Guests never want to leave the balcony with its top-floor view of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, and the oceanfront swimming pool. Inside, the living area has a new queen sleeper sofa and new dinette table and chairs. If the ocean isn’t enough, you can enjoy high-speed wireless Internet access, flat-screen cable TV with HD channels, and a smart DVD player. The compact kitchenette has a small smooth-top stove, microwave, refrigerator, and Mr Coffee-style coffeemaker, and is stocked with plates/glasses, pots/pans, and utensils. Relax in the bedroom with a king bed with a glimpse of the Intracoastal Waterway and flat-screen cable TV with HD channels. Linens and towels provided.


Beacher’s Lodge is a condo-hotel on Anastasia Island in an area known as Crescent Beach, which features a smooth white sandy beach, perfect for walking and playing in the waves, yet just 9 miles south of St Augustine’s historic district. Beacher’s Lodge amenities include private beach walkway, heated oceanfront pool, picnic/grilling area, washer/dryer on premises (not in the condo), and ramp/elevator access from the spacious parking lot. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Minimum age to rent this condo is 25. Small to medium dog allowed with prior approval and additional pet cleaning fee.

The location is fabulous. I loved the balcony view. Plenty of room for myself and 2 small fur babies. If you are taking your dog, just know that the pet area is clear on the other side of the complex and it’s artificial turf but that’s a trade off I made to have the view.It is a bit outdated, but that’s more aesthetics. The kitchen has very basic supplies but since there’s no dishwasher that was alright bc who wants to wash dishes on vacation? It could use a good deep cleaning bc there are cobwebs in some of the corners but it’s still clean.The sheets are not cotton. This might not seem like a big deal but if you radiate heat when you sleep, it is a big deal since fabrics other than cotton tend to hold the heat in. Also, the AC units are a bit loud and put off a bit of a stale cigarette smell. The smell does seem to dissipate or I got use to it, not sure which.It was a good fit for us for a quick getaway. I only mention those few things for people looking for a more modern or luxurious getaway.

Beautiful view & easy access to the beach but the condo itself is older & has maintenance issues. The toilet seat was broken when we arrived, the bottom of the fridge was actually rusted, the ceiling light in the bedroom flickers with a loose switch, the light under microwave is inoperable & the "new" couch creaks. Additionally the floor & couch were covered in sand when we got there & they left us 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for a 5 days stay. On the plus side, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was hot with good pressure & the a/c worked great. Property manager was not responsive to pre-arrival texts & had to be called the day of our arrival to arrange for after hours pickup.

The unit could use a makeover, especially the toilet. Also if I’m paying a cleaning fee, I don’t expect to be taking out the trash and doing the dishes (there was no dishwasher). This is becoming more common with VRBO.

We were a bit disappointed. It was very outdated and didn't seem real clean. We saw spider webs in some corners, especially on the balcony. The bathroom sink was leaking, certain outlets weren't working. It was a very small unit, I cant ever see 4 people fitting. A lot of this would be an easy fix if you took the time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the destination, beautiful beaches. The room was perfect size for two people love the top floor and ocean views. Definitely needs to be updated. Furniture,rugs in the bathroom and kitchen, Definitely need to be changed out. Could use a paint job and some updated furniture as the pullout couch was pretty nasty. As for the cleanliness, not too bad for a vacation rental Everything around the bottom of the condo was pretty dirty, but like I said a good paint job would take care of a lot of it but for the price I guess I can’t complain too much.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was not the best condo we stayed in, but it serve the purpose. The toilet is very low. Hard to get off. It's not handicap assessable. Only one elevator was working and they were having problems with the other elevator. That's the reason I chose this place to stay because I can't do stairs.

That view! Wonderful stay!

This condo at Beachers Lodge provided everything needed for a great 6 day stay. A/c was on point! The condo is nice enough but the balcony and the view are what make this unit amazing. The beach is incredible. If you have a 4 wheel drive pay a little and drive right onto the beach via the ramp right next door. You'll find yourself constantly mesmerized with the 4th floor view of the beautiful beach from the room! Beach access is a simple walk across the wooden walkway from the pool area, but use the ramp neighboring beachers lodge if you want to take a beach cart along due to the stairs on the walkway. We had our small dog along which made it perfect. Dining is somehwat limited in this immediate area so you have to drive a ways north for the better options but not too far. Hotel parking was plentiful and fine. St augustine was a bit more packed than we hoped at times but fun nonetheless and returning to the calmness further south at the condo and chilling on the beach or balcony was so nice and the beach was the whole focus of our trip in lieu of shopping, etc. Check in was effortless, the room was nice, and we are beyond satisfied with our vacation 2025!

Room

This time our room seemed smaller. We were not happy with the complaints of out neighbors. They left nasty notes on our door and they were only there one night. Next time we would rather be placed near someone else who had dogs and would not complain. The dog simply began barking when they checked into their room then they complained about us slamming the door. We love coming to cross a beach we will be back, however, next time we will be more particular with the room and choose.

Spring break with grands

Nice location, booking, check in good. The condo needs some updating. The mat in bathroom was filthy. Bathroom smelled of urine. , wash clothes are very old along with furniture, bed, etc. I could have brought some from home if I knew ahead of time. The pool area was perfect, saw employees cleaning area daily. Great beach access. Our gate code did not work, another guest gave us their code.

Property had light bulbs out and all remotes needed new batteries; bed was very comfortable; view was spectacular. Whole unit needs a little "TLC." Looked shopworn. Sofa was uncomfortable - sagging springs. Won't be back.

Wonderful beach stay

I didn't have a car and while I could walk to a convenience store, pizza place and ice cream bar, a car is needed, so they should not say a car is not needed in the ad.

We gobbled up the beach!

Thanksgiving is usually an "at home" experience but this year we decided to head for the beach. Place was perfect for us, 2 adults and a small dog. Pool was amazing. Beach view from balcony even more so. Condo could be brought into the 20th century but overall very pleasant.

We have already referred this condo to family. My only suggestion would be better lighting in LR for reading in evening, and a chair height toilet for those of us with limitations.
