Island Winds East 505 invites you to indulge in a serene Gulf-front experience. This exquisite 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo offers the perfect getaway for relaxation with the soothing sound of the waves as your backdrop.

Perched on the 5th floor, this Gulf Shores condo rental is conveniently situated by The Hangout and all that downtown Gulf Shores has to offer!

In the Primary suite, find solace with a comfortable King bed and entertainment from a flat-screen TV. The living room, not to be outdone, also features a flat-screen TV, plus a sofa sleeper, accommodating up to 4 guests comfortably.

The condo's interior boasts tile floors and a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, ensuring a delightful cooking experience. Step out onto your private balcony to take in the breathtaking views, or make use of convenient amenities like the in-unit washer and dryer and WiFi access.

COMPLEX DETAILS & AMENITIES
Island Winds East offers a range of amenities that promise a memorable stay in Gulf Shores. Enjoy the refreshing outdoor pool, perfect for both relaxation and fun under the sun. The boardwalk provides convenient access to the beach, allowing for easy transitions between lounging poolside and beachside adventures. For those who enjoy dining al fresco, the grilling area, complete with picnic tables, offers a wonderful setting for outdoor meals.

CLEAN BED PROMISE
Every Linen, Every Time: Liquid Life washes every linen for every guest. Every linen means every towel, every sheet, every quilt, and every pillow sham – every time. Inside our commercial laundry care facility, all linens are washed in our high-heat (150 degrees) commercial washers with our select, EPA-approved detergents to ensure complete sanitation. Liquid Life also follows specialized procedures to contain soiled linens and protect clean linens for every guest.

PARKING
Parking pass(es) must be purchased online directly through Island Winds. You will receive a Registration Email from Vacation Rental Parking Solutions that includes a link to register your vehicle and complete your parking pass purchase.

MONTHLY RENTALS
The property offers monthly rentals in the following months: November, December, January and February. To get a quote on the monthly rental rates for this property, call our reservations team.

AGE REQUIREMENT:
The minimum age to book this property is 25 years or older. Valid photo identification is required to verify age and ensure compliance with local regulations.

The property was very clean and the check-in process was very straightforward and easy to follow. The shower drain in this specific room wasn’t draining very well and the sink only drained with the garbage disposal on, but those were only minor issues and everything else was amazing.

Room was not clean upon arrival. There was hair in the shower and sink. Sand on the bed as if the comforter was not switched. And the pull out bed for my girls was awful. You could literally feel the bars underneath. Had to buy a blow-up mattress. It is a beautiful place. Just needs to be maintained better. Good part: it had a beautiful view!

I read the previous reviews and responses before making a decision to stay at the property. I was disappointed to see that exactly what was said in the past was not corrected. The furniture should be replaced. The sofa is old and you can feel the springs. It is also dirty along with the pillows. The chair is also dirty. The silverware and pots and pans are rusted. The kitchen floor had food on the floor and I am not sure when the last time the top of the refrigerator was cleaned. Also the bathroom shower curtain should be replaced. Lastly, the bathroom had one roll of toilet paper and no extras therefore we had to purchase our own. The best thing about the property is the view and the location. We made it work however very disappointing to say the least.

The place could use some TLC. The cushions were filthy, the furniture was uncomfortable, the shower curtain was moldy, and some of the parts to the blinds were missing to the point of us having to hang a sheet up. The TV in the bedroom had to be turned manually because the remote didn't work. I feel that for the amount, a little more care should be given to the place. I didn't know that the balcony was not private until I arrived. I didn't like the fact that we could actually look at the people on both sides while trying to enjoy the view. I also feel that the parking should be included because 60.00 on top of paying for the stay, was a bit much. Thanks.

Wonderful view of the Gulf! Pool was nicely heated! Easy walking distance to restaurants and stores! Short distance to a lot of activities: Gulf State Park and bars/restaurants!

I’ll never stay at another Liquid Life property My husband and I both reached out to you via text, phone, email and messenger and received communication back 24 hours later or not at all. The best part of the stay was the conveniency to the beach and that's it. The room itself had broken blinds which let in all the light, multiple places in the ceiling were falling down or moldy, the towel bar didn't stay on the wall, the sinks and shower were so clogged we did end up having maintenance come and unplug them, the rug and sofa are gross, the room just needs a facelift or anyone to actually maintenance things. It just wasn't worth the amount paid for the lack of service and rough accommodations. Since you're a third party in that building, the front desk staff wouldn't help so we had to rely on your staff which simply didn't reply.

I’ve escalated your reservation to our operations team and the owner for immediate review. Actions we are taking: - Schedule a licensed inspection and remediation for any ceiling damage and mold, and repair or replace affected materials. - Dispatch maintenance to address the clogged sinks/showers, repair the towel bar and blinds, and verify all fixtures are secure and functioning. - Arrange a professional deep clean of the unit and evaluate the rug and sofa for cleaning or replacement. - Review our housekeeping and maintenance pre-checks and improve our on-site response procedures to prevent delayed communication. - Review the stay for appropriate compensation and will follow up through your Vrbo message thread. Please send any photos, timestamps, or additional details through your Vrbo message thread so we can document everything and expedite the investigation. Again, I’m sorry this affected your visit and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention.

Great getaway weekend

We had a great stay at the cozy condo, location is awesome and right on the beach! Nice pool as well. Also great communication of any issues and immediately resolving them as soon as possible
