This beautiful home is the perfect year round retreat, located on a canal in Terramar Beach , this 1200 sqft home is perfect for the whole family.
You'll find lovely updates and a relaxing atmosphere in this beautiful coastal home. it offers 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom on ground level with bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked, and has all new stainless steel appliances.
Enjoy hours of fun fishing from the dock, it has green fishing lights, complete with a fish cleaning station and ice machine.the beach is only a short drive away. There is also a beautiful private pool with a tanning ledge and security fence.


If your looking for a family getaway or just a getaway to make lasting memories at, look no further, "Living the Dream" is the home for you!

Ground Level: Parking for 4 -6 vehicles.There is an outside bathroom with shower.
Bedroom has a queen bed, futon and bathroom.

Main Level:
Open concept kitchen, dining and living room with TV.
Bedroom 1-King bed -en suite bathroom, that can also be hall shared.
Bedroom 2- Full Bed and Twin
Bedroom 3- Full Bed and bunk beds
All bedrooms have basic cable TV
1 Shared hall bathroom

Location: 1 miles to the beach: 18.5 miles to 61st, 21.4 miles to 25th and Strand. 17.5 miles to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark.

Notes: Although provided, WiFi access service can be unreliable here on the West End of Galveston Island. We apologize, but we are unable to guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay and is unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services
No Pets allowed. Owners boat is kept in boat slip, there is plenty room to keep your boat outside of slip. There are security cameras outside for safety and protection.

Great property with all the comfort of home. Pool and hot tub was an added bonus that was enjoyed by our family. Short drive to the beach and the fishing at night was awesome with the green lights.

Great 4th of July Weekend

We had an amazing 5 day stay at this property. The house was beautiful and clean, pool was a great touch, and community is quiet, making for a relaxing vacation! This house has everything you and your family/friends need to make a great trip to the beach.

Our stay at Living The Dream

My family and I spent the weekend here and absolutely loved it! The home was beautiful and everyone enjoyed spending time by the pool, listening to music and making food on the grill. We also appreciated being able to fish without leaving the house! We’ll definitely be back for our next family getaway.

Spectacular property

Definitely a multi vacation stay from relaxing to fishing to spectacular pool, this property has it all including toddler proof! We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful fun Bay and Beach house.

The nicest house with pool right on the bay. Plus beach access right across the street. We came for the beach, but most just wanted to stay at the house and pool. Some swam while others fished. This house was above our expectations. We plan on renting it again next year.

Lived the dream

Great property. Absolutely everything you need. From the lift to the pool to the more than equipped house. Downstairs shower a bonus as well. Would like to plan a return visit. Thank you for sharing your happy place with us.

A little piece of paradise

My family and I had a great time at this property. The host were responsive and ensured that we had everything we needed. The pool was such a perfect addition and the neighborhood was nice. My mother enjoyed the quiet mornings outside on the spacious balcony. The kitchen was smaller than we are used to, but it was perfect for the house size!

The house was very nice. I loved all the decorations. It was nicely furnished and well stocked. The grandsons loved the pool. They caught several fish. We all loved sitting outside on the deck. The bedroom downstairs was a perfect addition. The house had plenty of room for everyone and not be crowded. Anna was a great help on any questions I had. I will definitely be booking the house again.

We had a lot of fun!

This property was just what we were looking for - quiet, near the beach, lots of room and good kid fishing. (The kids caught lots of fish and some would have been keepers!) It is not close to town, but there are some shops for supplies nearby. The pizza is very good. A real bonus was that the subdivision has it's own beach with parking. Grand parents, moms and kids from 14 to 8 had a wonderful time.

Fishing trip

This is a great property with your very own private pool. We felt like we were staying at Jimmy Buffett's house in Margaritaville with all the very nice ocean decor and signage. The family and friends thought it was a big hit and the sleeping accommodations were as described. The Strand and Galveston City center are about 17 miles away but there are stores in Jamaica beach that have what you need. I would highly recommend for those who want to be close to the public beaches and away from the hustle and bustle of the Seawall area. The public beaches are across the highway from the subdivision of this property.

Pool Heaven

Overall the stay was good. We had a good time, the pool definitely makes the rental. We had a problem with mice. We had to clean up mouse poop multiple times a day. We had an infant so we were bothered by the cleanliness of having a rodent. Sent pictures to owner with no response.

Beautiful home

This property is beautiful!! The fishing area with a green light is nice. The pool is clean. The listing is accurate. The owners are quick to respond when help is needed. I would recommend this property to friends/family. The beach is just a few minutes drive. The bedrooms/baths were nice sizes, and comfortable. They had plenty of towels for bath/pool. The kitchen was small for an occupancy size of 12. I would absolutely rent this home again in the future.*Note to future renters: There are many cameras on the outside of the property that the owners watch. I did not find that comforting, but that is a personal opinion. *Note to owners: The only negative I would say is that we found that there was no place to put groceries due to zero cabinet/storage space. Groceries for 11 people had to be put on the floor due to no space which made the kitchen feel even smaller. You could possible get rid of double kitchen supplies in the small cabinet for guests to put groceries. AGAIN, those are small issues, and overall the house is a 5 STAR.

Best hosts ever

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome our hosts were! We misplaced the keys and without hesitation they drove all the way from Houston to let us in! They were very nice about it! We found the keys, which was a huge sigh of relief all around! The property is amazing, so amazing we didn't have to leave! We just stayed there all weekend and fished on the dock! The cleanliness was bar none. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and was spotless! I can't even begin to say what a great experience this was, especially for the teens. No tablets needed on this trip, they fished and enjoyed the pool! I highly recommend this property!!! Hopefully we can rent it again before summer is up!

Fantastic! We didn’t want to leave.

This house is beautifully decorated and is so clean. There is a lift to bring your bags and cooler up without dragging up the stairs. That was a Hugh bonus. We have rented beach houses in Galveston once or twice a year for about six years and this was the best yet. The fishing was great. Short drive to pool and marina for bait. Drive across the Main Street and there is a beach you can drive your car right up to the water. Everything was first class and they have everything you could possibly need. Tv in every room. Highly recommend! We will be booking this one again. Thank you Anna for your hospitality.

Amazing House!!!!

This was a beautiful bay house with an excellent pool, kid landing heading into the pool (for the little ones) and hot tub. The pool stayed cool all day long even when we were in direct sunlight. There was enough umbrellas and furniture throughout the property so that everyone was comfortable to relax and enjoy. The house was decorated so nicely. Every detail was very well thought out and made you feel right at home. There were plenty of beds with nice bedding and comfortable mattress. The roll out canopy on the top level patio was a huge asset especially in the morning when you wanted to drink your coffee outside but not be blinded by the morning sun. The fishing area was setup for easy fishing and cleaning right next to the bay for all of our guys! I would DEFINITELY recommend this house. Tony and Anna were very nice and quickly responsive when we had questions. We will be staying here in the future without a doubt! It was nice for the whole family from the almost 2 year baby all the way up to the adults.
