Welcome to 19708 Chelmer Drive, #18, in The Grande at Canal Pointe! This beautifully updated condo features an open, airy floor plan with hardwood floors, wide hallways, and a spacious primary suite with a spa-like ensuite bathroom. In 2024, the bathroom flooring was updated to LVP. Each guest bedroom is thoughtfully decorated and includes a queen bed, while the primary bedroom offers a king bed for added comfort. The kitchen is well-equipped for any home chef, featuring stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Additional conveniences include a stackable washer and dryer, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a private balcony off the living room—so you can enjoy a true vacation without breaking the bank! Ideally located on the ocean side of Route 1/Coastal Highway, this lovely community is just a short walk or bike ride to downtown Rehoboth Avenue. You'll also have quick access to the Rt. 1 Outlets, and the Breakwater & Junction Trailhead is right across the street—connecting you to Lewes, Cape Henlopen State Park, and Lewes Beach. This sought-after community offers two in-ground pools with lounge chairs and umbrellas (typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day), fitness centers/clubhouses, tennis and basketball courts, and scenic biking and walking paths. Guests will appreciate the ample community parking and convenient elevator access. Parking is not assigned, but there is plenty of parking available throughout the community. The playground, tennis courts, fitness center, and clubhouse are just a short walk from the front door, and the condo's location within the community makes access to amenities especially convenient. Enjoy in-unit washer and dryer, central A/C, Wi-Fi, and hardwood flooring throughout. Linens are not supplied; however, a rental package is available for guests. No pets and no smoking. Due to community rules, reservations cannot be accepted for fewer than seven nights.

As a result, your credit card will reflect two separate charges: one from VRBO for the service fee and one from the Host for the rental charges. Great Stay

Love the location of the complex and the pools. It is a very easy drive to the beach. The apartment is spacious and we also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony.

We have stayed in the Grande Canal development previously and liked it - and this particular property in which we have not stayed before was excellent.

Love Grande at Canal Pointe

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have stayed at this property before and were pleased. The beds do need to have a mattress update since they are slightly uncomfortable.

Great Rental in Rehoboth

Our family of 4 stayed there in August of 2020. The condo is in a nice location, has high ceilings and was decorated well. We were impressed with the cleanliness of it upon arrival. With this rental, you are given access to the pool and the playground for children (understandably closed due to COVID). The beach and downtown are driving distance away but parking was not an issue for us. We did not come across any issues, but I messaged the Re/Max team a few times before we arrived and received quick replies. We will be staying here again.

Beautiful place, just needs a few improvements

Loved the location and large space this condo offered. Plenty of room for a party of 4. That being said a few small things hold this back from 5 stars. Needs more furniture as it has a empty feel and tons of sounds echo down the hallway. Cookware provided was not good quality. Shades with the sliding door to the deck are mostly broken and fell on their own, so we didn't use the deck. TV faces the deck entrance and glare made it difficult to watch during the day. That being said with a few touches the place is prime for great stays.

Condo not cleaned

I’m pretty sure no one ever cleaned the condo. The kitchen counters were covered in sand. The showered had more sand in them then I can explain. The floors were visibly filthy. You should somehow verify if the cleaning teams are actually coming. I’m pretty sure they didn’t. If they did they certainly didn’t clean the kitchen at all

Nice condo, great location.

We have stayed at a few other condos in The Grande at Canal Pointe over the years, so we always look here for our rentals. The location is convenient as we bike back and forth to the beach, downtown, etc. it’s nice to have the pool to come back to after the beach, or instead of. The apartment is nice but felt like it could use a few improvements. As mentioned in other reviews, there were some things like the slats on the sliding glass door being broken, the master bathroom fauce dripped and the toilet does not flush properly. The kitchen is well stocked but we needed a cookie sheet for one dinner and there wasn’t one available. Minor I know but something to maybe consider. There were 4 of us staying here, so we had plenty of room. But I can see 6 people feeling tight in there, especially with only 1 couch and a chair to sit in. Other places we stayed within the community offered a parking pass, which allowed us to us it for the beach and downtown parking areas - that wasn’t available here. Overall I would recommend as it was the most cost effective rental, but I wouldn’t be able to give 5 stars due to the seemingly minor details I mention, which don’t seem minor when you’re spending a week.

Fun family time.

My son and his family vacation with us each year. This year was super. This condo fit our needs to a tee. Would like to rent it again next year. Perfect location. Quiet and restful. Remax made it easy.

Great condo

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay here- plenty of space, clean, nice community pool and tennis court, easy access to bike trail, and ahort drive to beaches. Would definitely come back.

Nice Getaway!

Beautiful home and property. We purchased the linen package because towels and sheets were not included. Everything was there for us when we arrived. The unit is on the third floor but they have an elevator so bringing suitcases and groceries up to our unit was a breeze. Conveniently located close to all the restaurants, shops and a short drive to the beach. Loved it!

Heaven sent!

Great place to shelter! Spacious, clean and well-appointed. The cathedral ceilings and abundant light of this end unit condo made me feel like I was in a house! Perfect if you want to bike on the trails or into town.

Beautiful condo

The condo has a beautiful feel and look. It is very inviting, bright and you actually feel like you are at the beach. It was plenty of room for my family and I (5 people.) It is close enough to the beach that you can either drive or ride a bike. The amenities that the neighborhood offers is fantastic. The main reason I gave an overall rating of 3 has nothing to do with the condo, but with the real estate company. The WiFi did not work the ENTIRE TIME we stayed here and I called the company several times and never received a call back. I need to continue to work on my vacation and I could not do that with the WiFi out, which in turn made my cell phone bill outrageous. I expect the costs that come with going to the beach, but this extra cost really irritates me. I tried everything I knew to get the WiFi working again, but it never worked. I hope they get this fixed for future tenants. My kids could also not use their tablets, which did not help at all. Overall, the condo is fantastic and I would love to stay here again, if the WiFi gets fixed.

Family vacation - Rehoboth

We had a great experience renting this property for a our family vacation in Rehoboth. We know the area well so this served as a great base for our vacation. Quiet, clean neighborhood yet a short drive or bike to all the action. Would stay again!

Beautiful, close location to the beach!

Check in was very fast and everyone was friendly. Once we arrived, we were completely wowed! Condo looked much nicer than the photos from what I remember. My family loved the stay here. Very short drive to the beach and stores. We will definitely book again.

The 3 bedroom 2 bath condo was beautiful with its nautical theme throughout. Very clean. Quiet loca

Loved this condo. I have two suggestions: 1) Please supply sheets and towels for that price. It gets steep when rental fees, cleaning fees and insurance are added to nightly fees. 2). Please have a plunger available in each bathroom or not hidden under the sink. That said I really enjoyed my stay there and LOVED the nautical decor.

Perfect Place!

Tall ceilings - beautiful decorations - comfy beds - great location! I can definitely recommend this vacation property. No need to fuss with the congestion on US 1 - 7-minute car/Uber ride to the beach. **Highly Recommended** Revelation Brewery is just around the corner and has great beer and snacks.
