Welcome to Gerber Lake Home! WE WILL NOT BOOK THE NEXT SUMMER AS THIS SUMMERā€™S GUESTS HAVE PRIORITY to book 1st! 7 night rentals, Friday to Friday, are required from Memorial Day through Labor Day. 2 night minimum stay the rest of the year. Escape the hustle and bustle of life to this large, lakefront home on Jimmerson Lake which is on the Lake James chain. This 6 bedroom, 4 bath 4600 square foot home has lots of space to relax and have fun. It has 2 separate living rooms each with its own tv. The upper level entertainment area includes a pool table, hoop shoot game. The newly remodeled main floor & The beautiful new kitchen which overlooks the lake, has granite counter-tops and is fully furnished. All linens are provided except beach towels.

Enjoy our updated fire pit area and spacious patio with new furniture, 2 tables seating 4 people each with umbrellas, 1 larger table seating 8 people with an umbrella, mini bar with stools, gliders and a tree swing.

The sparkling, in-ground swimming pool with retractable cover is the perfect place to stay cool and have fun. Heated pool is open May 1 - mid October (*Weather Permitting*) The large patio has a year-round hot tub, tables and chairs to enjoy dining outside or pack some firewood to relax around the fire pit while roasting marshmallows in the evening. (firewood NOT provided)

This home is minutes away from shopping, restaurants, Pokagon State Park, movie theaters, winery, and many other area attractions. It is also close to the Public Boat Access to launch your boat. There are 2 Jet Ski Floating Docks for use. A state park pass is included and 3 kayaks and a jon row boat are available for your enjoyment. (there are a couple life vest but suggest to bring your own)

This home is the perfect place to create memories with your family and friends!!

This was a wonderful home to spend our family Thanksgiving location. We had 16 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was well stock with all the amenities we needed. We're already planning on staying here again for next year's Thanksgiving.

Great lake house for a big (or smaller) family vacation. We had 15 people, ranging from 10 years old to 76.This is our 4th time staying at the house in the past 7 years. The owners have continually improved and invested in the property and they are very responsive as well.

AMAZING!!!!!Thank You for sharing your Beautiful Lake house with us!!! You did not Miss Anything!!!The outdoor living space was Amazing!!!! From fishing off the dock, kayaking, to just hanging out in the pool watching the boys play water basketball. We rented a boat for skiing and tubing and even brought our own paddle boards. It even cooled off enough in the evening to use the fire pit. So Many WONDERFUL Memories made. We are All ALREADY looking forward to our stay next year.

Wonderful Jimmerson Lake Vacation

Best location on the entire Lake James chain of lakes! Outdoor living space with well-maintained pool and poolside furniture, very nice and well maintained hot tub, great fire pit and seating, extensive outdoor dining, kayaks, and dock for our weeklong pontoon rental made the trip! Beautiful, well appointed, kitchen with lovely views of the lake from many rooms. Bedroom, bath, and living space layout was well suited for our 3-generation family of 10. Thanks for providing the accommodations for us to make many memorable family memories and experiences.

Dirty house

The owners forgot to clean the house before we arrived and tried to send out a cleaning crew at 4:30 which was clearly too late after we had unpacked. They asked us to leave or stay outside while they cleaned which is completely unacceptable. There were dirty sheets & bedding on the bedroom floors & the dishwasher full of dishes. The sinks and toilets had unsightly rust water stains and the hard water smells awful in the shower. The toilet in the master bathroom has duct tape on it. The owners could have done more to make it right for us but instead became rude.

Weekend Stay

Beautiful house and property but the hot tub didnā€™t work and there was no WiFi connection. We contacted the host regarding both issues and got no response all weekend. For the amount we paid, those things shouldā€™ve been functioning.

Family Time

The spacious outside area providies close-up views of the water and wildlife. One highlight for us is the beautiful dining table which is large enough to accommodate the ten of us. It was our second stay, and we hope to have may more.

Great family home!

Fabulous home with everything you need! Plenty of beds for sleeping, huge dinning table, kitchen stocked with all you need, game room, hot tub, and plenty of places to sit and relax. The lake is beautiful and hot tub was much enjoyed with the chilly winter weather. Enjoyed the home and cannot wait for our next trip!

Thanksgiving Break

Our family came together for a stay in Fremont. Everything was as described and there was not a reason that I needed to bring our whole kitchen on our trip in order to have Thanksgiving dinner. The house had everything and more that you would need for a stay. We loved having a large beautiful table to gather around and the openness to allow us to be together. Our grandchildren loved the hot tub, watching the ducks and swans and even the fishermanā€™s boats! We would love to return in the future

Family Time

The property is perfect for a large group, with plenty of seating both inside and out. We especially enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and the dining table that comfortably worked for our group of ten adults. The scenery is pretty, and you will be sure to see many different kinds of birds.

30 year wedding anniversary weekend getaway

The pictures do not do this house justice! The updates to the kitchen space is spectacular! Our family had a wonderful family getaway to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! The house is perfect for a big group, especially with all the thoughtful touches like the spacious fully stocked kitchen ( the best I have ever had), game / toy closet, game room, the State Park pass, hot tub and breathtaking views. We would definitely like to come back- maybe a little earlier in the season to enjoy the swimming pool!

We live in a small town south of Ft Wayne and dont get up to the property as much as we would like.

Por que o anfitriĆ£o escolheu essa propriedade

This lake home is located in the bottle neck between the two basins so boats need to slow down for a few minutes as its Idle zone in front of the property. So its nice to sit and see all the different boats idle through the pass from one basin to the next.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

Our property is at a dead end so not much traffic. We did install artificial turf in 2021 during our outdoor living space expansion which helps for the turf not getting muddy or die-out when tubes or things left lying on the turf for some time. Also being able to sit, swim or float in the pool while overlooking the lake enjoying the boaters, sites, and/or sunsets. We try to maintain the pool temps at 88 degrees from May to mid October for the comfort of our guests!
