The Luxury Lake James 2-story home and entertainment cabin offers GORGEOUS views of Lake James, perfect for waking up to watch the sunrise over the water.

(Please note, any reviews before July 2021 were reviews from my two old cabins before the home was built)

The home offers 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, a fireplace, and a deck equipped with a gas-lined grill overlooking Lake James.

The entertainment cabin has a bathroom, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, and outdoor gas-lined grill. Also included is a large screen TV w/ surround sound and two garage doors open to the lakeside deck. The cabin has a large walkout deck with access to the private dock. The lakeside entertainment cabin will only be made available during the summer months (May through September).

Guest access:
All guests will enjoy contactless entry, and guests will have access to both the home and entertainment cabin, two gas-lined grills, parking spaces, and a boat dock.

Travis's place on Lake James was very nice for our 7-night visit. Indeed the lakehouse and its companion building by the dock are well-maintained and relatively new. It was well furnished and nicely appointed with attention to details of design. We were there for a family reunion, seven of us, and we selected it partly because of the dock for our boat. Price and fees seemed high initially, but during our visit and afterward, the overall experience for everyone made it worth the cost. Views of sunrise over the quiet morning lake were very good. Master suites on the upper floor were exceptionally comfortable. Parking was ample and easy. Because of the site's slope from the parking to the lake, there are many stairs up and down the property that are good for exercise. People with mobility issues may find it challenging. The lower building, with its deck, barbecue, and large screened-in space opening to the lake, was an evening favorite for conversation and games.
