Welcome to Amarula Estates! A perfect getaway for family reunions, vacations, and small conferences. Please bear in mind that we charge a fee if you plan to invite numerous outside guests.
Amarula Estates is on an 11-acre property in a tranquil setting on the Tomoka River yet still in the heart of the Daytona Beach area. Just 15 minutes to the beach and approximately one hour to Disney World.

The estate offers a fully equipped bar, jacuzzi & sauna, infinity swimming pool, and accommodation for up to 24 guests. The gourmet kitchen allows room for several cooks to share their culinary talents while fellow guests relax in the spacious open living and dining rooms.

Five of the eight bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the remaining two bedrooms have detached bathrooms.

A large back patio has plenty of seating and is ideal for grilling enjoyable meals for a large group. Outside lighting lends a relaxed ambiance in the evenings.

The 500 ft walkway takes you to two spacious docks on the river, and one can use paddleboards canoes, and kayaks that are provided free of charge.
Access to the inter-coastal waterway by boat. 15 mins to the beach, 4 mins to shops, 12 mins to the speedway. Unlimited parking for cars, bikes, and trailers. We want you to enjoy your stay with us.
Amarula Estates named after the Marula tree, as the source of several fascinating legends, has become a sacred and intricate part of ancient African culture. Locals have revered these trees for centuries and refer to them fondly by various names.
Because elephants travel for miles to feast on the wild fruit, locals call it ā€˜The Elephant Treeā€™. African folklore also refers to it as ā€˜The Marriage Treeā€™. Apart from making a beautifully natural wedding canopy, itā€™s also said to have aphrodisiac properties and features in tribal fertility rites. The ripening of the Marula fruit in summer coincides with great celebrations in many parts of Southern Africa. In Swaziland, for example, the annual Marula Festival is celebrated at the kingā€™s royal residence, sustaining the belief that the Marula fruit is fit for kings and queens.

This is a wonderful resting place for those who want to enjoy the quietness of nature or to catch a fish or two. Perfect for family reunions.

Fabulous Place!

We rented this place and the adjoining property for 21 people and it was perfect! Past guests leave supplies on top of what they provide so itā€™s very well stocked. Itā€™s absolutely gorgeous!

The home and property is stunning, and the property manager Ian was incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately. We stayed as a family reunion, and used every room in the house and still felt like we had plenty of space and room for more. Hands down would absolutely stay here again if traveling thru Florida.

Everything was exactly as the pictures showed. Property manager was a great help. Kids had a blast in the pool. Wish we had booked it for longer. Just enough room for all 7 of our kids and their kids. They had a play pin for the baby and a high chair. Will definitely be back.

It is a beautiful home with a great deal of classic decor. We had our family of 18 members come together for such a great time that many said they wished we had stayed longer. Rob was incredible! Such a great help with answering questions and addressing small issues that came up. The pool was fantastic! The bedrooms were not only comfortable but beautifully decorated. The spa, pool table, darts, kayaks were all used constantly. It was relaxing, quiet, and just the perfect place for everyone to find something to do and have fun. Daytona Beach was a short trip which the children loved. Would highly recommend and entertain coming back again. Thank you, Mr. Cox, for allowing us the privilege to share this beautiful and relaxing home for our family reunion!!

Amarula is THE place to be if you want an unforgettable vacation. Sure made our anniversary memorable. It's a spacious, clean, beautiful haven of happiness. Sure felt like a private resort. With high kitchen countertops and showerheads, the tall folks might feel like giants while we shorties go on ladder quests, but that's just part of the fun! Greg was super friendly and helpful. 50th Wedding Renewal

Great Family Gathering place

We really enjoyed Amarula estates. It had all we needed and more to spend quality time with family and friends. Ian was there to resolve any issues and to remind us to turn things off. The only thing that was listed that we didn't find or ask about was make up wipes that were listed on brochure but we made due with some we brought so we didn't use wash rags. Other than that it was amazing and we seen deer out the windows many times. It was so close to beach and everything great Mexican food walking distance. If we have another large family event we will come back for sure

The house is beautiful, the pool is beautiful. The house is very spacious. There are plenty of refrigerator spaces. The beds are more on the firm side. There is not a gym anymore, which was fine. We were too busy to workout. The beach is about 17 minutes away. The quaint little town is not really there. I watched videos and they were not accurate. Walmart is right down the road, along with some other stores. We had a great time inside and outdoors. All of it was wonderful, we hated to leave. The only issue we had was there was pet hair all over. The first day we were there we swept and vacuumed the living room due to the pet hair and the blankets on the couch had pet hair. We didn't bring any pets. Overall, like i said, it was all wonderful. Even though the contact person is right on site, we didn't hardly see them. It is a magnificent house.

Once in a lifetime vacation

Last year I invited all of my family and a few of our closest friends to a big family reunion style vacation. We had the most incredible time. The house fit all of us very comfortably. It was absolutely beautiful. Between the pool, the dock on the river, the house, the hot tub and sauna there was so much to do! During our trip we spent a day at DisneyWorld and several afternoons at the beach only about 15 minutes away. But every single one of us agreed that we could have spent the entire time at Amarula and had just as much fun. The hosts are such friendly welcoming people. They were quick to respond to any of our questions leading up to and during our trip. To this day, my family still tells me that this was the best vacation they have ever had- and I have Amarula Estate and our hosts to thank! I can't recommend staying here enough <3

THE DESIGN OF THE HOME
At a local school fete, the owner of Amarula estates won a lunch with his congressman in Washington DC. While he was in the area, he visited Monticello the home of Thomas Jefferson in Charlottesville, Virginia. Inspired by the Roman neoclassical architecture featuring large columns in the back and front of the house, he returned to Florida and designed and built this home on the banks of the Tomoka River.
