Gulf Dunes Resort, unit 601 is a beautiful 3 bedroom corner unit located on the top floor of one of Okaloosa Island's most popular beach resorts. This beachfront vacation rental located just west of Destin is within minutes of Harbor Walk Village, home of the Destin fishing fleet and dockside grills. All of Destin's attractions are within minutes of this ocean-front resort, while the serenity and privacy of an island atmosphere will surround you. The master bedroom offers a king bed, direct access to the adjoining beachfront balcony, and a private master bath with a double vanity, tub, and separate shower. Each bedroom has direct access to one of the 3 bathrooms. The fully stocked and upgraded kitchen offers everything you will need during your stay. The proximity to supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping makes this the ideal location to vacation in the Destin area.

Gulf Dunes resort is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Destin and Harbor Walk village, yet offers a quiet island beach experience for you and your family. This 3 bedroom vacation condominium will sleep up to 8 persons comfortably. The balcony has table and chairs for your enjoyment and relaxation. The living room has ample seating for everyone, and is updated with a flat screen tv and new furnishings.

Gulf Dunes resort amenities include a regulation tennis court, private exercise gym, two pools, and one of the largest beach fronts on Okaloosa Island. The powder white sands of the Emerald Coast are found nowhere else along the Gulf Coast. Beaches are cleaned daily providing the ultimate experience for you and other guests. Beach Service is included with your rental.

You won't have to go far to enjoy all Destin has to offer. Gulf Dunes is just 6 beautiful miles from the Destin Harbor, where you will have dozens of seafood grills to choose from, as well as shopping and activities. The kids will enjoy go karts, putt putt golf, and daily air shows by Destin's local pilots. Speaking of pilots, The Blue Angles practice weekly in nearby Pensacola, and there are historic attractions located all around this area.

We have water theme parks, games, bungee jumping, parasailing, jet ski and boat rentals, dolphin cruises, sunset sailing charters, deep sea fishing, world class golf, and much, much more. You'll never run out of exciting things to do here in Destin.

We loved the condo and how it was arranged. Bedrooms each had their own bathrooms. No bunk beds! Best for adults. The only real downer was that the big puzzle was missing many pieces. It was a struggle to do without them.

Girls Trip to the Emerald Coast

Property and trip was everything we hoped it would be. Great, comfortable property with excellent views of the gulf. Loved watching the sea life and spending everyday on the water. The beach set up was perfect and Dan accommodated us daily with our requests for an extra chair and umbrella. We enjoyed the local flavor and proximity of the restaurants. When we went into Destinā€¦were glad to be staying in a quieter part of the coast. Will definitely recommend property to friends and look forward to our trip back.

The entire process from start to finish has been outstanding. We have been kept informed during each step of the process. Our accommodations are outstanding and the facility itself is top-notch. The family has enjoyed how close we are to the beach where the beach service has been spectacular. This has been our very first visit but we will be back! Thank you for everything!

Our family, 3 generations, stayed early July for a week. We had some laundry troubles but SRR stepped up and did a fantastic job making alternative arrangements. Other issues were relatively small. The staff is friendly and helpful. They were available every day. We will be back and would definitely recommend going through this rental company.

Dirty Floors

The floors were not clean when we arrived. It also had several slick spots. The bottom of our kids feet would be black after walking on the floor for a few minutes. Everyone had to wear socks which caused our kids to slip and fall on the tile floor. Very lucky that no one hit their head. Would not recommended this unit if you have small children.

I was so pleased with the property, It was clean and comfortable. My husband and I traveled with 4 teenagers and we had plenty of room to relax. The unit is on the 6th floor and had an amazing view of the gulf and the beautiful beach. Since it is a corner unit, we had multiple vantage points of the water. The furniture and beds were comfortable, the linens were nice, the kitchen was well equipped, and Wi-fi was good. The rental also included the use of 2 beach chairs and an umbrella, making our beach time even better. As a side note, you will want to go to the beach around 8 a.m. to reserve your chairs for the day as they do fill up quickly and are on a first-come, first-reserve basis. The chair service was friendly and helpful. There were several food options close by and Destin was a very short drive. We visited Gulfarium and did a fishing charter from a Harbor Walk pier, both were close and convenient. We walked on the beach a short distance to a pizza place for lunch. There are also ice cream vendors that pass on the beach for a sweet treat, so take some money with you to the beach.I have nothing negative to say about this property or management. Communication was great and the condo was beautiful, just as described. If I return to the area, I would rent this unit again without hesitation.

Ladies Trip! November 10-15,2022

This trip was planned to take our mom/grandma to visit with her sister. This location was perfect for our plans. The unit was beautiful, and the corner end was wonderful for views. We were able to see the dolphins play from the deck while having coffee. Our group totaled six and each of us enjoyed our accommodations. Mom enjoyed every minute of this special trip. We have just a few suggestions to make the experience a bit easier for other visitors. The information packet provided very useful information except for the location of the underground parking space. The spaces are numbered randomly so a bit more specificity would have been helpful. Since we visited Florida during "off season", the condo did not set out chairs at the beach. It would have been nice if chairs were made available as we would not have minded taking them out ourselves. Instructions for the appliances, specifically the dishwasher and washer/dryer would have been helpful. Also, a name or mural painted on the side of the building would be most helpful for locating the condo building from the beach. As it was "off season", there were no flags flying from the flagpole or any other identifying signage. All in all, this group from Colorado thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Thank you for sharing your unit.

Beach view spectacular!

The beach view was spectacular from our balcony and the breeze was the delightful! Being right on the beach made it very easy to access. The condo itself was a little dated and had a little bit of wear and tear, but overall was sufficient for our family needs. The biggest disappointment was the weight roomā€¦ Our kids like to keep up with their training as a both are athletic, but we found it to be less than desirable. However, plenty of physical activity out on the beach made up for it.
