Welcome to Coachman Cottage, a fully renovated, 1900 sq ft single family vacation rental nestled in the heart of Havelock, North Carolina, home of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. The Coachman Cottage is located in the well-established neighborhood of the Hills of Foxcroft, conveniently located off of Hwy 70 and minutes from the front gate of MCAS Cherry Point. Ideally situated between historic New Bern and the beautiful beaches and charming towns of the Crystal Coast, to include Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Beaufort and Emerald Isle.

Coachman Cottage sleeps up to six people, featuring 2 bedrooms, each appointed with a queen bed, and a loft area with a queen bed. The downstairs master boasts a spa-like adjoining bathroom with rain shower where you can listen to your favorite music with Bluetooth audio speaker. The upstairs bathroom includes a tub/shower. Linens and towels provided.

Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and dining area with seating for six, a spacious and inviting living area with a wood-burning fireplace, and large outdoor deck for entertaining and BBQing. Ample parking available with private driveway. The Coachman Cottage sits on a quiet cul-de-sac with large private yard.

We also host two other properties in Havelock, Kobe Cabana & Patriots Point, which are 2bedroom/2bath duplexes. These and Coachman Cottage can also be found on A1rbnb if you prefer their platform.

Please be advised the home is equipped with a Ring Doorbell at the front entrance . The camera provides a view of the exterior front door, sidewalk and portions of the front yard. This is the only camera on the property and is for exterior security.

Check-in is 4:00 pm / Check-out is 11:00 am.

We are Rose & Gary, a retired USMC couple who have lived on Coachman Lane for 25 years. We have enjoyed turning our former neighborā€™s home into The Coachman Cottage. Youā€™ll enjoy the homey atmosphere of our quiet neighborhood. We can be reached by phone, text or email and itā€™s up to you how much interaction youā€™d like.

Things to Do:
Havelock is centrally located for a vacationer interested in discovering the history, charm, and adventure of our slice of Eastern North Carolina. Within a short half hour drive, you can be touring North Carolinaā€™s first capital at the Tryon Palace, enjoying a Pepsi at its birthplace, spending a day with your toes in the sand, taking a ferry ride out to Cape Lookout, or seeing the wild horses on the Shackleford Banks. And that is just the beginning of the fun our area offers.

What a great property this is. The cottage is spacious yet cozy and very comfortable. Rosie was a great host and her attention to detail with the decorating and amenities is top notch. The beautiful town of New Bern and the beach at Atlantic Beach are a short drive away, so you can't beat the location. We had a great stay and highly recommend this to others.

You could tell that the owners really put some thought into the remodel and decor of this home and it showed! It was so nice to be there instead of a hotel where we could be comfortable with family instead of separated by "units".

Perfect home away from home!

This property was perfect for our stay near the ocean. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we might need (even aloe vera for when we got sunburned!). There was even a little gift basket when we arrived. Rose made us feel very welcome and even checked to see how we were doing. The location was just right for everything we wanted to do.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Coachman Cottage. The cottage is super clean and has everything you will need for your stay. The house is very spacious and in like new condition. Beautiful Cottage

Coachman Cottage was beautifully furnished and equipped in every way. Weā€™ve stayed in many different VRBO homes over the years and this one is at the top of our list. Coachman Cottage also includes a beautiful backyard cabana with fire pit and a nearby barbecue grill. We enjoyed our time outside as well as in the cottage. We highly recommend to anyone staying in the area..

My families stay at the Coachman Cottage was absolutely wonderful! Rose and Gary thought of every little detail to make your stay at this home pleasant and enjoyable! Super CLEAN!!! Excellent!

We stayed at this property to spend time with our Marine over Thanksgiving. The house is exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and beautifully remodeled. Rose and Gary were readily available for any questions. The snacks and beverages they left were much appreciated after our long drive. We will definitely stay here again!

my son is stationed at Cherry Point Marine base and we wanted to have Thanksgiving with him. We looked for a home and found this one. This home was just lovely and cozy for a family holiday. The owners were amazing and helped us all along the way. Also have to mention that the kitchen is very well stocked with all the pans and utensils you could want. We loved it and I will be back someday!

We would definitely recommend this home. Every detail was 5 stars . As soon as we entered we felt welcomed by the sweet extras Rose made possible. A welcome basket awaited us and the cupboards had many things to make our stay even more special. Nicest house rental we have ever had

The owner Rose was awesome and the house EXCEEDED our expectations. The amenities were top notch, particularly the outside deck and gazebo, and the house was fully stocked with everything you needed, and even things you didn't think of. If we are in area again, there is no question we will stay at this beautiful home again. We have been fortunate to have stayed in other fine rentals (Fort Myers Beach, Gatlinburg and Gulf Shores AL come to mind), but this was the best of them all. Thanks for everything Rose!

Absolutely wonderful!

Rose has thought of everything in this beautiful house. It was new, clean, comfortable, extremely well stocked and welcoming. There was a welcome basket and letter waiting for us, instructions for anything we wanted to use and a wonderful cabana in the backyard where we could relax and enjoy time with our family. Weā€™ve rented several homes through VRBO but none as nice or perfect as this one. We will definitely stay again. Well worth it!

Beautiful home & lovely hosts. Accomdations worked well for 6 adults. Great family gathering spaces, inside & out. We felt very welcome and right at home, hosts welcomed us with a personalized welcome sign and snacks (special touch)! Coachman Cottage is beautiful inside & out, the backyard cabana is especially cool. The house is equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen, laundry & bathrooms. Everything was clean & well taken care of. Extras included information on local sites & places of interest, yard games, card & board games, kayaks and outdoor grill. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & highly recommend.

Perfection!

In town for a special event, the Coachman Cottage was the perfect home base for us. Clean and comfortable, beautiful house! The kitchen has all the necessary dishes, cookware, utensils that you need as well as a nicely supplied spice rack and basic condiments. Some water and soft beverages are also in the fridge. There is regular and decaf coffee and filters as well as sugar and sweeteners and powdered creamer in the pantry. Paper plates and napkins are also furnished. We couldn't have asked for anything nicer!

Over the years of raising our 3 daughters in Havelock, we have been active in the community by volunteering in youth sports. We have served on the boards and coached t-ball, Little League baseball and Pop Warner football.
