Ocean Walk L-4 is ready and waiting for you!

Real Escapes is pleased to offer you this upstairs unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths in the Ocean Walk Community. This updated condo has two very comfortable bedrooms with two full bathrooms. Enjoy the light-filled living room with large flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals or reheat leftovers from your favorite local restaurants.

The master bedroom features a king bed and en-suite with shower/tub combination. The guest bedroom has a set of twin beds. There is another full bathroom off the hall with a tub/shower combination. You will love the covered porch off of the living room that overlooks the majestic oak trees – perfect for morning coffee.

There is so much to do without even leaving the 16 acre, beautifully landscaped complex - fish in the lake (catch & release), feed the ducks, play basketball, or swing at the children’s playground. Other on-site amenities include two pools (one is heated yearly during September through April), an exercise room that overlooks the pond and a clubhouse with a ping pong table.

Ocean Walk is a short walk to the Village and Pier area where crabbing is always fun. While you are in the village, have some oysters at The Half Shell. Build sand castles or go fly kites at the beach. When vacationing on St. Simons Island, you can ride bikes everywhere! There are bike/foot paths all the way to the north end of the island.

What to Expect in your Unit:
• There are 2 TVs located in this property.
• This condo is an upstairs unit. There are no elevators.
• Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bag. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

Fantastic Stay at SSI

Great property in a wonderful locations. Place waa extremely clean and within walking distance to the pier, restaurants, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

First VRBO…..thumbs up.

Lovely accommodations. Not decant, but very nice. Very quiet area with respectful neighbours. We had to drive to restaurants, to the beach, but very short distances and were pleased with the location. I used the fitness centre a few days. A bit small and tired, but manageable. All in all, very happy and would not hesitate to return.

This was a wonderful alternative. Clean, fresh, updated! Only downside, which was not the owners fault, was the asphalt paving of parking lot. We almost couldnot find a way out or place to park when returning. We had to leave earlier than planned because of the paving.

Loved the property and amenities

We loved everything about this unit. There are plenty of amenities and my boys loved fishing in the pond. The only thing we disliked was the janitor (man with long grey hair) was rude several times to me and my children. There was a sign on the pool that it closed at 10pm and one night at 9:50pm he was screaming at my boys to get out. I understand rules but we were following them. I personally witnessed him being rude to several people. Other than the ride janitor, we had a great time and we will certainly be back!

The exterior area was also clean and well maintained. The only issues for us was the extremely firm mattress in master bedroom was so uncomfortable and I had to sleep on sofa due to numbing pain in shoulders and lower back. Yes, I’m a side sleeper,so a firm mattress is a challenge for me. My fiancé is a back and side sleeper,so it was tolerable to her. The other issue was the cookwear is old to the point that the nonstick coating was flaking off. We actually bought our own fry pan.

Condo not worth what you pay!

Master bath was extremely dirty! The shower had mold and dirt all over it and there was mold on the walls! Floors were barely swept and there was trash behind furniture that had not been picked up. Really made us question if anything had been cleaned before we came. Kitchen had dirty pots and pans! Also for the price you pay for this condo you would think there would be an ice maker or at least nice ice trays in which to make ice. The ice trays were flimsy plastic which made it hard to remove ice had to be careful not to break them as several of them already were. The condo is in a nice location to get to beaches, restraunts, shopping and other activities.

Cute, clean condo

This property was in a good location, 5 minute drive to the beach. Condo was clean and kitchen well-stocked. The only negative is the bathrooms are a little small with little counter space-not a deal breaker or anything.

Took over 5 hours to be clean & a bag is dirty linens remained all week. The AC was not working still at 8 pm so we had to spend the night at another property, which meant packing & unpacking to move & then return the next day. Finally by Monday the condo seemed to cool down so I think that the freon must have been added the AC needed. Although the realtor was kind, it was just a disappointing way to begin a vacation.

The front screen is somewhat broken, we fixed it temporarily with duck tape. The drawer in the main washroom cabinet didn't work. Enjoyed ocean walk. Unfortunately one of our neighbours was a smoker forcing us to keep our windows closed a lot of the time. This could happen anywhere.
