Creekside Haven offers the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods. This little gem is perfect for a family getaway and is now a pet-friendly vacation home! With a fully equipped kitchen and gas grill, you can cook all your meals on site! There's all the cookware, dinnerware and utensils required. Cuddle up on the new leather living room furniture and watch a movie while the fire crackles in the wood burning fireplace. The creek is fun for the little ones to discover on adventures through the woods.

This mountain home is located off of Highway 356 close to Unicoi State Park where there is trout fishing, mountain biking, swimming at the beach, and hiking trails. Anna Ruby falls is right up the road and it is only 5 miles to downtown Helen. Helen is a mountain town in northeast Georgia. It's known for its vineyards and Bavarian-style buildings. Trails run through the Chattahoochee National Forest to the Anna Ruby and Raven Cliff waterfalls. In Smithgall Woods State Park, Dukes Creek is known for trout. The Hardman Farm State Historic Site includes an 1870 homestead and the Nacoochee Indian Mound burial site.

This cabin is now pet-friendly and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for the second. A maximum of two dogs are allowed at Creekside Haven.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Creekside Haven is available to families or to guests 21 years or older.
• Parking: Space is available for 3 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel to the property.
• Pets: Pets are now allowed at Creekside Haven.
• Location: 4.5 miles to downtown Helen.

We enjoyed the cabin and felt cozy and welcome by all involved. Our only complaint and it is a small one is that the driveway could use a little work. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A great place for o stay.

It was perfect for us as we enjoyed the Oktoberfest activities in Helen. The youngsters enjoyed a campfire in the outside fire pit. I enjoyed cooking steaks on the gas grill. My wife enjoyed being pampered. Everything we needed was there. This was a resting place for us and it served its purpose. We will be back.

Perfect family getaway

Creekside was a perfect spot for our family trip! Cute cabin nestled in the woods and close to everything we needed or wanted to do. The full kitchen allowed us to cook and the grill on the porch was a perfect addition.

Girls Trip

We had a lovely time at the Creekside Haven. It was the prefect size for a girls trip. The room sizes were nice and had plenty of room for our nightly games at the kitchen table. We did run into a trash problem. Our trash was full and a bit stinky from our left overs. The outside trash was not bear proof and the instructions were clear to not leave trash outside due to bears. We made a call to the office and they did come by the next day to remove our stinky trash. The cabin is little but has a nice layout that makes you feel you are in a larger space. We did learn quickly that the door locks every time the door shuts, so be sure to have the code on you when enjoying the porch or walking down to the little creek. Overall we had a lovely stay and made some nice memories!

Private Cabin Getaway

We only had a few days over a Labor Day, but the cabin was perfect for us. Private, but just a short drive into downtown Helen. Unfortunately, we had torrential rain each day of our stay, but the cabin made a perfect place to just chill and relax. Would be especially good for a few friends or a family who want a great cabin with access to the parks and attractions. Clean, well furnished, and everything you need is included. Very highly recommended.

Stay at Creekside Haven outside Helen Ga

Cabin was great, in the woods, quiet, close to everything & easy to find. Great for 5 ladies over 70 and one 91 year old. All one level and no stairs The only problem we had was the refrigerator leaked, turned off icemaker and still leaked. Needs more ice trays

The hot water heater needs to be replaced!! Didn’t have enough hot water for everyone!!!

Need to update hot water heater & also it should of had a dishwasher. When you get away who wants to wash dishes….

Loved It!!!

We came to Helen for the weekend and chose this cabin because it offered plenty of room and privacy. This place is decorated cute, it has great natural light and was clean. I will say that the online pictures do not do it justice.

Peaceful and relaxing with nature

This cabin was clean. The beds were comfortable. This cabin had everything you needed. Only thing is not enough wash cloths and the hot water did not get hot enough or last long . It was tucked away from all the crowded places. Not too far away from either town.
