Very Close to Hundreds of cool restaurants, bars and stores. You will love it as any residents of Ferndale do.
Recently updated with 3 gorgeous beds and 1 full bath. Nice furniture, comfy beds, 4 new Samsung TVs, WiFi, TV cable, safe, iron, hair dryer, two coffee makers, blender, bread toaster, additional quilts and more...
Entire House for Guests. It can hold 7 people. You can use the entire house which has been well furnished has 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, living room, dining room, laundry room, long drive way, nice front yard, fenced back yard and patio.

Great!

Great location and home. Was good for 6 adults and a six month old. Home had everything we needed. 4 stars for cleanliness because one of the bedrooms smelled like it had a cat in it at one point.

Cozy home for suburban Detroit stay

Super cute find in Ferndale! The beds are amazingly comfortable along with couches. Host welcomes guests with a spotless home and cereal is a lifesaver for out-of-town families.

Home away from home!!

This home was very clean and has everything you need for a home away from home. Diana is very professional, nice and available to address your needs. I really enjoyed the convenience and close proximity to downtown royal oak and downtown Detroit. All the amenities listed were accurate. We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend making a reservation.

Madison stay

The host ended up changing our location last minute and redirected us to a house in Madison Heights, which luckily wasn’t that far from Ferndale, but it would’ve been nice if it was communicated prior to hours before check in. She claimed that the house we were suppose to be staying at in Ferndale had plumbing issues and she’d just found out but the picture she sent us was from the end of May, therefore she didn’t just find out.The house in Madison Heights was nice though.

House had strong smell to it like things have been sitting for a while. When I returned home , my wife told me to look in the mirror, and I saw that I have multiple bites and red marks all over my chest, stomach and back. I don’t think it was bed bugs but something definitely caused these marks

Nice stay

We had rented this property in Ferndale but we received a message at 6am the day of our arrival that this property was having toilet issues so we were relocated to a similar house in Madison Heights. We were a bit disappointed to be relocated and in comparing the reviews of both properties it seems that the house we stayed in wasn't quite as up-to-date as the house we had originally reserved. That being said, we did appreciate her having a place for us to stay. On the positive side of things, we were on a road trip around Michigan and stayed at a number of places along the way...the beds at this property were by far the most comfortable! We also appreciated the central air, the updated washer and dryer, and having enough bedrooms (3) for everyone to have their own space. The host was also great with communication and provided us with specific directions in how to care for the property. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. We loved that the location of the house was central to the places we wanted to see (8 minutes to the Detroit Zoo, 25 minutes to Henry Ford Museum, 15 minutes to Belle Isle). Overall, it was a good stay!

Ferndale Rental Experience

We were notified the day of our arrival our rental was not available due to a plumbing issue. However, they were able to place us in an equitable unit. It was clean and furnishings were in good shape. The unit has some aging and the kitchen ware was quite worn. However, the unit was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful vacation home

We had a last minute property change, but Diana was very quick to get us set up in the new rental. She was very communicative and let us know she was always available to assist with anything we needed. The house was big and beautiful, and we felt right at home there. Thank you for everything, Diana! I hope to continue booking with this wonderful host.

Lovely and Quiet Stay

This home was lovely. Check in was easy and the property manager followed up as soon as we checked in. This home had everything you need and was very comfortable and quiet. It was perfect for my son and I while attending the NCAA wrestling tournament.

Worth the stay!!

It was a great stay...although we had to change properties last minute due to some furnace issues but Dianna set us up in another property and we were very pleased...will definitely stay again..

Very nice quaint home

NYE get away for my adult children, fiancé and I. Home looks very small from the outside but very cozy inside. Everything was clean and just as pictured. Neighborhood was quiet and near everything from retail stores to gas stations and restaurants (all within a 20min walk or 5 min drive). Beds are pretty low to the ground, which could be of concern for someone with bad backs or handicap, but can be easily remedied with bed risers or an additional box spring. Communication was great and check in was very easy. I’d definitely return.

Cute and Comfy

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We were close to all the places we wanted to explore. The house was clean and well stocked. Check in, check out was easy. But the beds.. the beds felt like sleeping on clouds.. only downsides were the water pressure in the shower, and however quiet the street is, you are still right off 8 mile. Gun shots were heard and police chase ensued..typical Detroit imo though. I would stay here again.

Amazing and relaxing rental

My family and I stayed in this wonderful rental and absolutely loved it. The rental is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, yet is still very close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Diana was quick to respond to any questions, and her rental had all of the supplies (even coffee and creamer) needed in case someone got there late, and couldn't make it to the store first. We enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to come back.

Good rental close to Detroit!

My daughters and I really enjoyed staying in this home. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils pots and pans and a nice gas stove. Extra toilet paper and other items were stocked in the closet. We did have a small miscommunication about the amount of people staying and was charged $176 extra when I mentioned it was my 3 kids and I staying so I would suggest making sure you select the correct amount of people staying when booking. The home was very comfy and we appreciated being close to downtown Ferndale and super close to Detroit!

Rocky start, but turned out OK

I was contacted by the owner the night before we were to start our stay and was told there was a heating problem and we could not stay there. She had another property nearby we could stay in. OK, our fishing trip was all planned so we had no choice. Check in time is 4:00pm. At 5:00pm as we are pulling off the lake to go check in, I get a text msg saying there is a plumbing problem and maybe we should find someplace else to stay for the night. We drove 41/2 hrs and fished all day, we are not looking for another place. I called and talked to the owner, she said we could stay but could not use the shower and the toilet was iffy. She said all would be fixed the next day. It was after 7:00 by the time we got into the house. I got a text the next day saying all was fixed. I thought we deserved more than the $20 discount she offered, but we were not in a position to argue. Overall, after the plumbing was fixed, it was a good experience. Everything was clean and as advertised. Quiet safe neighborhood with plenty of parking for our boats and trucks. It's unfortunate it started so bad, but it turned out OK. We will stay again next year.

For freedom and a better life, I gave up my Chinese lawyer career and everything else in China then immigrated to Michigan a couple of years ago. Was I very crazy or very brave? LOL
I am a very kind, honest, happy, simple, friendly, hard-working and nice person. I enjoy a simple and healthy life style. I love life, smiling, working, reading, writing, watching movies, traveling, music, walking, running, playing Ping Pong, cooking and any other fun stuff.
I feel that I am the Luckiest Woman in this world because I unexpectedly met my Dream Boy Joey in my Dream Country!!! He is a similar person as me. In my eyes, he is my Mr. Perfect and my Superhero. He has been serving in US Army more than 35 years and he had fought against Taliban in Afghanistan in 2003 and 2011. He has been awarded many times by US Army!!! Currently, he is an engineer and a supervisor in the auto industry. Also, he still serves in the US Army Reserve. I am sooooo proud of him!
After I immigrated to the USA, I wrote 2 books in Chinese language during my leisure time. One is “Cinderella’s American Dream” and the other one is “Look at the United States from Zero Distance”. They will be published in China in the second half of 2019. I am considering translating these two books to English then publishing them in USA.
