Villas del Rio is one of the most comfortable and convenient vacation rental houses in Sayulita. The house is divided into two apartments which can also be rented separately. This listing presents the house as a whole.
The house has daily maid service, air-conditioning and WiFi. The house is perfectly situated between the beach and the town plaza, so everything that Sayulita has to offer is just steps away: the beach and surf break, as well as the town center and all its restaurants and shops. Despite the central location, your privacy and a tranquil environment are assured due to the house's elegant architectural design.

The house itself is very elegant and cozy. The are two levels. Each level has a 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom layout with a queen size bed in the bedroom. The living room couches are designed to accommodate additional sleeping needs. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals at home. There's also a small landscaped dipping pool located in front of the downstairs unit.

Villas del Rio is perfect for 4-6 guests looking for an elegant and well-priced apartment in the heart of Sayulita.

Great place, everything you could need is a short walk away no need for a car, my kid had a blast in the little pool everyday after the beach to cool off. Beach, restaurants, shops all less than a block away. Looking forward to going back

Great visit!

We had a great stay, quiet, secure & safe! Location is excellent, close to everything. We had lots of friends in town as well and this became a great meet up spot for us. We misplaced a key and were panicked, but the property manager took care of the problem immediately, so thankful! Highly recommend this property, cannot wait to come back to Sayulita!

Spring Break

Loved staying in this location. A block from the beach and restaurants but still quiet. No need for a golf cart. Really easy to keep an eye on my teenagers and really close to the beach so it wasn’t hard to carry everything down there. Definitely would stay again.

Great location

Not alot of plushy ammenities..towels and bedding was a bit rough but nice little kitchen. Water was off one day but they fixed pretty quickly. Noisy, but you get used to it. Safe and quaint. Great owners.

Discovering Sayulita

We had a really nice holiday here. The property is charming and central. It's a lively spot but we didn't feel that it was too much for us. The patio and garden are beautiful places to hang out. The housekeepers are lovely and the hosts went above and beyond to help us with any issue we encountered. A really good experience.

Great size, fabulous location.

The house had everything we needed. It is close to the beach and the center of town, so it is very easy to get around and find good spots to eat and play. The kitchen is well equipped for breakfast or simple dinner cooking. The pool is small, but our kids still enjoyed taking a dip in it. The host was responsive at all times.

Location & check out

We had a WOMDERFUL time in Sayulita! The location of the property was Perfect!!! We could not have asked for better. The relaxing plunge pool was ideal. We can not say enough. The only comment beside raving about it was check out. We felt unsure about leaving the keys inside and the door unlocked but I guess they come by quickly to take care of it - we hope! We left for the maid and hope she got it!

Lovely Space

We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach,restaurants & shopping. It was a noisy some evenings from the music,but not an issue. A very comfortable space for a couple. The bedding & towels could do to be upgraded,they were well used. Overall we liked the apartment.

Villas del Rio is the perfect spot for a stay in Sayulita! We rented the entire house (2 apartments) for our family of four. Jewel, the house manager, is lovely. Great communication and responsive. Viki and Fidel, the two housekeepers were very kind and took great care of the place during our stay. The location is incredible - we walked everywhere. Great food, shops, and services all close by. The pool was a welcome respite from the hot beach - cool and shaded. We had a lovely time and would love to return!

Lovely Time in Sayulita

We rented both levels of the casa for our stay, if you will rent just one, i recommend the 1st level if you will use a lot the pool, if not, definitely the 2nd level will be more private. The property is less than two blocks from the plaza and beach, a lot of restaurants around there. We rented a golf cart for our vacation, and we didn't have any issue to park the golf car in front of the house or less than a block from the house. We mostly walked and used the car to explore the town and go to other beaches near of there. Cleanliness was excellent. Location is really good, nightlife is a little bit noisy (music and people outside), but we definitely book this property again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villas del Rio this Jan/ Feb. As a family of 3 we decided to rent both the top and bottom suite for extra space and are glad we did. The home is so well set up, with everything we needed to settling into Sayulita for 10 days. The gardens and pool were beautiful, the beds were cozy and the area couldn't be more perfect if you want to be able to quickly get down to the beach or be in the mix of town. So many fantastic local spots to try, you'll never be bored. Everything is at our door. One tip, if you are a light sleeper, the area is lively at night so bring ear plugs/ white noise etc. The parties calm down around 12 AM so its' not bad at all. Host Ruben and property manager Will were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The staff who look after the place were so lovely and did a beautiful job. We can't wait to get back!

Location location location

Pros: **Location** 3-5min walk to beach and same close distance to the downtown area, very walkable location to anything you need, nice property manager, easy check in and check out, far enough from town that you don’t hear all the partying but close enough to it if you wanted to walk to a bar/restaurants, cold AC in rooms, huge bathrooms, and nice size plunger pool (bigger and deeper than it looks in pictures) Conns: we rented golf carts and sometimes we couldn’t find where to park them, very very small rooms and kitchen, no AC in both living rooms, no microwave, and no TV’s. It’s also important to note that this house is a 2 story and 2 separate room place. I didn’t realize that when I rented it but we ended up using both top and bottom rooms since we were a family of 6. Overall we would stay again. It gave us the feel of a cute little hacienda. Thanks for having us!

Great spot!

Can’t beat the location and price. It was more than enough for our family of 4. We actually only used the upper unit, and had our kids sleep on the couches. AC unit kept us cool. Kids loved the mini-pool. We felt like we were in a treehouse! Very quiet and felt safe. We Our only wishes would have been more linens. We stripped the downstairs bed for sheets, and my youngest actually used a towel as a blanket. And an upgraded lock system would be cool. You have to hold on to two sets of keys. A pin pad system would be an improvement.

Xmas Getaway

We had a great time visiting Sayulita! The two separate apartments were perfect for our needs, and the couches allowed for plenty of sleeping space. The rental was right in downtown and close to the beach, walking distance to everything. Ruben and Jewel were very easy to work with and quick to respond to our inquiries.

Hi, we are Sophie and Ruben. Not so long ago we came to Sayulita on a surf trip, and immediately lost our hearts here. We packed up and moved - with our two daughters - and never looked back.
We are originally from Belgium. We've lived for 8 years in beautiful Laguna Beach, California, and now we live full time in equally beautiful Sayulita, Nayarit.
