Perfect for families, friends, and furry companions, this charming, pet-friendly getaway comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and offers easy access to 35+ miles of scenic paved bike trails, the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic Center (SHARC), and The Village at Sunriver with shops, restaurants, and fun for all ages.

In 2025, the home was upgraded with air conditioning to keep you cool and comfortable year-round. Enjoy the natural beauty of Sunriver right from your covered deck—ideal for sipping your morning coffee or evening wine while watching for deer, birds, or an unforgettable sunset. Fire up the BBQ, dine al fresco, or simply relax on the porch swing and take it all in.

This two-story cabin features vaulted wood ceilings, a cozy, cabin-style vibe, and thoughtful updates including a newer range and countertops in the well-equipped kitchen. The main floor includes a king ensuite bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a room with two twin beds, while the upstairs loft offers two more twins—perfect for kids or teens.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house. Location was good. Air conditioning was a plu. The share and Marina pass was very nice and a nice surprise. We have rented this house for 8 years now and we definitely will rent it next year. Thank You Village properties for making our vacation wonderful!!!! Can’t wait.

Good location, easy check-in, easy check out. No hot tub that was on the original listing. Prop manager is responsive. Some wasp nest located upstairs that we couldn’t find. Had to kill 15 of them, some even after maintenance came by to spray. Otherwise, good stay.

Perfect winter getaway!

Our family really enjoyed this wonderful cabin. The furnishings were lovely and updated. The beds were very comfortable. This cabin was very centrally located, within walking distance to the Village Mall and the SHARC. We would love to stay at this cabin again.

Loved the porch swing, and the fireplace. I would really like to see a little more space to stow items we brought in the kitchen, and though it was well stocked, I would recommend bringing your own knives if you like to cook. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Home in Sunriver

We really enjoyed our Christmas vacation at Kildeer 6. We were a bit disappointed there wasn't a Christmas tree or decorations, but we get it--not everyone celebrates Christmas. We were also disappointed that the TVs and blue ray were out of date. We couldn't get any streaming services to work. We were looking forward to holing up and watching Christmas movies. If I had known ahead of time, I would have packed some DVDs or our firestick. In the end though, that didn't really matter. We baked cookies, sat by the fire drinking hot coco, and watched the snow fall from the glorious living room windows. It was pretty idyllic Christmas. The kitchen was decently appointed. We easily made all our meals at home. My 13yo daughter was super excited to have the bedroom loft to herself. We were happy to have a king size bed in the primary bedroom. The mattress is super firm...too firm for me. I woke up in the mornings with discomfort in my hip and shoulder joints. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, and plush towels. The water takes a little bit of time to heat up (it was 30 degrees out), but then it's super hot. It was nice to be able to do some mid-stay laundry. The house is a stone's throw from the Village, which was pretty adorable at Christmas, especially with all the falling snow. It was a little nerve wracking being in Central Oregon sandwiched between two severe winter storms, but that's par for the course in winter. We ended up leaving a day early to get ahead of the incoming storm. All in all, we had a great holiday vacation. We are looking forward to our next Sunriver adventure and would definitely stay in Kildeer 6 again.

We love Sun River!

The location was incredible, walking distance to town and the Sun River Recreation center. We took 2-3 walks a day. It was an amazing time and we will be back!

Poorly managed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When an email was sent from Mark Halverson asking for feedback, I took the time to write and tell him several issues with this property. I sent it twice. Not one reply or acknowledgement of it. Steep cleaning fee, the house should be clean, especially during the pandemic. Very unhappy with the housekeeping from sticky residue on the floor and kitchen counters, dog hair in the refrigerator, upside down mattress without mattress pad???(who does that???), icy walkways and steep driveway was dangerous to navigate. You may want to try another management company in Sunriver. Cascara is good!

Nice place, missing a few things.

Nice place there is a lot to like here, but no remote for Bedroom TV. No way to stream media, we used our laptop, and blown speakers in main TV. We stayed 8 nights so that was important to us. Microwave caught fire, and no there was no metal in it. Very clean, nice layout, nice BBQ.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

Loved our time at Killdeer 6. Stayed during a big winter storm. The house was cozy, warm and had everything our family of 5 needed. The warm fireplace glowed, we played family games around the big coffee table and watched the snow fall. The house is much bigger than it looks! Kitchen is well stocked and has some authentic retro touches that I remember from my own childhood (Pyrex coffee cups anyone?). Look forward to staying again!

Great Experience

The property was great, exactly what was pictured and expected. Very clean. Only thing that I can say was a bit of a problem was that there was no wood for the fireplace. On our second evening we found some outside and were able to have a fire which was wonderful.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house is nice with a great location close to the Village. But a couple things would keep us from renting this home again until they are fixed. The guest bed mattress is old and the mattress/frame is being held up in the middle by something that looks like an old flower pot. Not a great sleeping experience. The other item is that 3/4 of the loft lights don’t work properly. They are very old and just need to be changed out. I was needing to use this space as a virtual office for a couple meetings and could only get one small lamp to work. I felt like I was in a cave. These are minor things, but it’s disappointing to see that the owners aren’t fixing them. On the plus side it was probably the cleanest pet friendly house we have ever been in.
