Are the reasons to enjoy our Carmel vacation home located next to Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch restaurant and cottages. Our home boasts spectacular views of the Carmel River Lagoon, bird preserve, Point Lobos State Park, Carmel River Beach, Carmel Point and the Pacific Ocean, all from our private deck that expands the width of the property, and glass enclosed living and dining rooms.

The interior of our home is as beautiful as the views with new bamboo flooring throughout this lovely 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom vacation retreat; luxurious interior furnishings with a modern, tropical feel invite you to relax in utmost comfort, enjoy the new surround-sound home theater/stereo system, huge, flat screen televisions; stay connected with work or friends with our high-speed internet service; and, at the same time, feel totally safe and secure in our completely enclosed property.

While here, you can enjoy one of the many wonderful restaurants Carmel has to offer, some within walking distance, or you can entertain at home in our new, modern kitchen with full amenities; barbeque outside with our new gas barbeque; dine outside utilizing the comfortable patio furniture or inside at our square, glass and chrome dining room table for eight.

But whether you're relaxing inside or out, put on some music, sit back in one of the down-filled sofas and gaze at the beauty of our amazing one-of-a-kind wind sculpture, called "Harmony," as it dances to the winds off the ocean. Located in the ocean-side garden, it was created by artist John Tyler who explores the interaction between balanced metallic forms and wind by fabricating images in steel and stainless steel that give the illusion of weightless, random motion that is both playful and serious.

We are located on the Carmel River Lagoon, and Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch. The home next door is also available to rent if you need additional space. We are a low impact vacation rental. We allow only registered guests. A signed doc u sign contact is required.

We have stayed at this home twice. We love the deck, the view, the weather (seems to be a little banana belt), the proximity to the Mission Ranch (for dinner or a drink), the proximity to both Carmel (downtown) and the South Carmel River Beach.

Wonderful stay!

The house is lovelyā€”very clean and well decorated. It was the perfect setup for six of us (me and my husband, our two kids, and my in-laws). The deck and the view are the highlight! We saw pelicans and deer almost every time we went outside. The garden and plants around the deck are also very beautifully maintained. We would absolutely stay here again next time we come to Carmel!

Fabulous stay (again)

We have stayed at this property many times and it never disappoints. The views from the house and the deck are exceptional. The furnishings are elegant but comfortable. The house is very well stocked. Communication with property management was excellent - timely, responsive, and professional. Weā€™ll be back!

Magical spot in Carmel!

I spent my entire time just watching the beautiful scenery right outside your door. The meadow, river and ocean at your fingertips. Beautiful haven to just relax with family or friends. One of the most beautiful spots in Carmel. Great kitchen and living space. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. My family had a great experience staying here!

Amazing house with incredible views!!

The VRBO pictures don't do justice to the amazing views and very large outdoor patio. The house is exceptionally clean, updated and very well kept by Paula, the owner. Paula was very helpful and responsive during our reservation process and stay. The home is beautiful and far exceeded my expectations. I will be back!!

We have stayed in wonderful accommodations around the globe and this listing is up there with the BEST!! The comfort of the beds, the incredibly well equipped kitchen, the wonderful views of sheep and ducks from the deck as you drink your morning coffee, the reliability, hospitality, and kindness of the hosts are all unsurpassed! The beach is also just down the road and one can go on long runs or Beach walks right from the home. If you are debating whether to book this or not, I can assure you, you will have NO regrets. This place made our family thanksgiving that much more magical!! BOOK IT without a doubt in the world. Itā€™s absolutely exceptional as are the hosts.

This is the second time I have rented a property in this location. It is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Easy easy walk to town very quiet very private. The house is just absolutely perfect. The beds are comfortable. The house is stocked with everything you need.

Relaxing family time

Our family enjoyed a pre-Thanksgiving get away at this relaxing, peaceful home with unobstructed views. Sunrise and sunset were gorgeous. About a mile walk along neighborhood blocks (or pristine beach) to Carmel shops and restaurants.

Beautiful Home in Perfect Location

My wife and I another couple had a perfect birthday long weekend stay in this beautiful home that is situated in a terrific location in Carmel. Everything was exactly as advertised and communication with the homeowner was friendly, smooth and responsive. We have rented many vacation homes over the years and this home is among the nicest with the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen in a rental home. We will look forward to returning in the future.

Delightful

We had such a great time - on one size of the house, sheep grazed and straight ahead the beach and Pt. Lobos views were backdrops to sunrise and sunset. The amenities were off the charts from the kitchen spices to the festive beach-themed serving dishes. Every comfort of home was in this house. We just didnā€™t want to leave. :) Worth every penny. Walk to the beach, the shops, the Carmel Mission ā€¦

Beautiful spot!

The deck, filled with beautiful flower pots and gardens, looks out onto one of the best views in Carmel-By-the-Sea. We really enjoyed how the outdoor space expanded the size of the living space. Perfect location for views, walks, and proximity to town (walk, ride bike, or drive).

Gorgeous and comfortable home!

We had a wonderful stay at Paula's house. Her home is beautiful and clearly set up not just to be a rental -- there are so many thoughtful touches that are above and beyond what you would except from a typical VRBO (heated toilet seats, extremely well stocked kitchen, high quality everything). The location is absolutely stunning with a massive deck with overlooking a nature preserve and the ocean. It's also steps away from the beach and a gorgeous scenic walk along the ocean; and a quick drive to tons of restaurants to the north and Point Lobos and Big Sur to the south. My family and I would love to visit Paula's house again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a Gem!

Amazing property!! If you need to be in the area this house is a must! Gorgeous views, wonderful host, super comfortable beds and a ton of great touches like heated bathroom floors and toilet seats. Kitchen is well stocked should you want to stay and cook, but plenty of nice restaurants in the area. Canā€™t recommend this home enough!
