Coco Hut –

Stunning 6 bedroom 5 bathroom Miramar Beach Vacation home! Located due south of the South of the Silver Sands Factory outlet mall, Coco Hut is maybe a minute’s drive from all the shopping and dining one could desire! The house sits just one lot off the beach offering spectacular views and ridiculously easy beach access! (30 second walk to the beach, no roads to cross). Additionally, Coco Hut has a 8'x17' private pool that can be heated October - April upon request, and 2,800 square feet with bedding for 18!

Miramar Beach offers wonderful amenities for the whole family to enjoy. Sliver Sands Outlets is the largest outdoor outlet mall in the country which is perfect for the shopper in your group. You’re also a short drive from both A Winn Dixie and Publix supermarket. Make sure you take the family over to nearby Baytowne Wharf located in the Sandestin Resort. Baytowne offers a wide range of activities you whole group can enjoy. Built with a New Orleans theme, there are activities for the kids, several delicious dining options, boutique shops, and a few bars if the adult in the group would like to grab a drink.

First Floor: Living Room with Patio Access, Kitchen, Dining, King Bedroom with Tub/Shower Combo, Queen Bedroom with Shared Tub/Shower Combo, Laundry.

Second Floor: Bonus Den with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Wet Bar + Balcony Access, King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Soaking Tub, Queen Bedroom with Shared Tub/Shower Combo, Bunk Room with Full Bunk and Twin Bunk.

Third Floor: King Master Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Soaking Tub + Balcony Access.

Great Place

The home was very nice!!! It was in a close location to the beach and the pool was a big hit with the kids! We enjoyed our stay and could definitely see ourselves coming back!

Spring Break Trip

Our stay was wonderful! Lots of space for everyone (15 in our group). The bunk room was perfect for our teenage girls. Close walk to the beach which was perfect for our daily trips. Can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful Beach Dream

Clean,. Pool warm, everything we needed and more. Clean bedding and towels. Beautiful design so cozy and family friendly. Definitely recommend for family fun in the sun. Amazing 😁

Family and Coworker trip

Overall the stay was awesome. The house was everything we needed plus more. There was enough space for more people to be able to stay even though we didn’t need it. The only thing I didn’t like was the floors were nasty. Other than that we loved the house and would definitely book again.

Love the floorplan on this house! 3 master bedrooms with king size beds makes it great for multiple families to stay in luxury!! Bunk bed room for kids is fun. The best is the short walk to the very private beach!! Fun was had by all. We will be back😎

Coco Hut

Our family with 7 adults and 2 children (10 and 7) had a great stay at Coco Hut. The house was clean upon arrival. Easy check-in. The kids loved the bunk room. One block from the beach. Loved that we had 2 chairs and an umbrella labeled with "Coco Hut" set up every day on the beach, social distanced. The pool is small but big enough for the kids to enjoy. Great location and access to stores. No bike paths but could ride along the highway on a wide sidewalk. Great communication with the property manager answered any questions. Thank you for a great vacay!

Great House Great Location But ...

Great house great location But ... House needs some TLC. A/C return grille on first floor is filthy and needs to be replaced. Ceiling fans need to be cleaned. Little details like wiping baseboards have been overlooked. Gas grille outside needs to be replaced. Burners have rusted out makes it impossible to use. With attention to detail this house could be a 5 star

IA Christmas Group 2022

The property is nice and large, but needs a heavy duty all over cleaning! Bunk beds need vacuumed or cleaned around the mattresses, rugs need shampooed, and tile floors need to be commercially mopped! We spilled something in the kitchen the first day, and after wiping it up my paper towels were black! Also could use some pot holders in the kitchen as the house had none. I bought a couple to use for our visit. Great location and easy access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. The outdoor pics seems like properties are spread out more, but they are not. They are on top of each other, parking is tight! We paid for pool heat each day, but pool was not able to be used until the last day. We were told it only works well with warmer temps outdoors. I own two rental properties both with propane pool heaters and if a guest is paying for pool heat, we make sure it is warm enough to swim even in colder temps or we do not charge them. Good times golf cart rentals were great to work with, also did a bonfire on the beach through them. We loved the Surf Hut food, and the little bar Kenny D's was fun for the adults. The oyster bar & grill next door to Winn Dixie also was fun and great food! Destin was great, and the beaches were absolutely beautiful!! We will visit the area again for sure!

Awesome Getaway!

This was exactly like I was told. Pictures were real. Everything was nice. We will rent again in the future. I highly recommend this property. We stayed at the Coco Hut.

Great Getaway!

Ocean Reef's Cocoa Hut was amazing! It is very spacious and accommodated our family of 15 well. We still had room for more. The location was outstanding. Right at the beach and walking distance to everything around us, food, restaurants, and a great outlet mall. Best vacation ever!!

Could’ve been a 10

Location and house were great. For what I paid I expected more. The pots and pans had no Teflon. There was exactly 1 potholder. 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom/ no extra anywhere in house. 1 bar soap per bathroom- so sink or tub. For the price, expected more. A few hundred for regular replacement of pots/ pans, a run to the dollar store for potholders, etc really should be a regularly scheduled upkeep. Pool was only heated 2 of or 5 days despite asking for it prior to arrival. Daily multiple calls . Again location is great - it would have taken very little to make perfect.

Close, comfy & clean!

The location is great and the property was clean with super comfy beds! The extra living room was a nice feature for the older kids to have their time while the adults enjoyed theirs.

Great Location - Needs better Maintenance

This property was laid out well with lots of room. It was super easy to get to the beach. It felt like we walked across more boardwalk than asphalt. A lot of the time we would make the walk barefoot without worrying about stepping on broken glass, etc. There was an outdoor shower next to the grill which was also nice. We got to the house just as Hurricane Nate made landfall. Most of the windows on the South side leaked. We had to wash a load of towels we used to mop up the water twice. The next day we looked at the windows and they weren't sealed. A tube of caulk would go a long way to maintaining the home. My guess is all of the windows will probably leak depending on the direction of the wind. There were a lot of small issues that didn't affect our vacation, but show this house doesn't get the attention it needs. We found an breaker box left open and exposed to the hurricane. The pool had a thick layer of sand at the bottom. The light next to the grill didn't work. (It is a new grill.) Several door handles weren't fastened tightly. We had a screwdriver and fixed those. The problems that were most annoying is the kitchen had ants. You couldn't leave any food out on the counter top at all. It had to go in the fridge or pantry. And the beds were extra, extra, firm. The couch actually slept better than the bed. It could be a really nice place, but it needs some love.

Jeff, thank you for staying with us and sharing your experience. I am sorry to hear that the weather did not cooperate during your stay due to the hurricane. It sounds like most of the items mentioned stemmed from the weather during your time here. Heavy wind and rain was the contributing factor to the leaks, breaker panel being blown open, sand and debris in the pool, and ants in the house. Nonetheless, we do apologize for these issues. If staying with us again and items like this do occur please do not hesitate to give us a call. We have a full maintenance and housekeeping department that are here to assist at all times. Almost perfect.....

The house is beautiful and spacious. There was plenty of room in the common areas as well as the bedrooms where our large family (8 adults, 5 kids) never felt cramped. The pool was a lot smaller than we were expecting but was still enjoyable. The deck and seating area around it are spacious and plentiful. The kitchen was nice and open so there could be multiple people in it at once. It was very under stocked with kitchen wares. We ended up going to the dollar store to buy some cheap measuring cups, bowls, spoons, etc. So I would suggest bringing mixing bowls, pots, pans, and spoons if you're going to do a lot of cooking. The walk to the beach is super short and you won't have to deal with traffic. Our 2 year old was able to walk there with no issues. There was some construction going on next door which was quite noisy and eliminated any chance of enjoying a peaceful read outside. The rental company pretty much told us to suck it up and deal with it when we inquired how long it was going to last. Also be warmed that they can warm up the pool, but they're going to try to charge you for the whole week (even if you don't ask to get it heated until a day into your trip) and may shut it off a day early like they did for us. Overall, the house is great. Clean, extra pillows, blankets, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again....we will just be more prepared. :)

Thank you for staying with us. We are sorry to hear that the kitchen was not stocked with enough utensils. We provide essential kitchen items such as plates, pots, pans, cups, and silverware. Unfortunately some of these items do get worn and sometimes get thrown away unbeknownst to us. We have completed and inventory of the home and added some of the missing items. Otherwise we are happy to hear that you had such an enjoyable experience. We hope to see you back next year.

Perfect vacation

Thank you Ocean Reef! Beautiful house, steps to the ocean in Destin yet on a quiet (almost private) side street away from the noise and traffic. OceanReef team was great to work with as well. Highly recommend for families with kids looking for a beach vacation.

Amazing!

This house was beautiful. We would have loved to stay, just sitting outside by the pool listening to the ocean. The only thing that I didn't like was the tile stairs, however all of the houses were multiple levels and tile. It was an amazing time and we all enjoyed this house. There is plenty of space for big groups and the bedrooms are really big. I would recommend this house any day. Staff at Ocean Reef were very accomadating letting us in early because the house was already done which was wonderful. We will hopefully be repeat customers of theirs :)
