Leinaala Oceanfront #405 is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit on the 4th floor. It has a panoramic ocean view, split AC system in the living room and bedrooms, and ceiling fans throughout. #405 has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 flat-screen TVs with Blu-ray players, free Wifi and telephone service with long distance calling to the continental US and Canada. There is a new king bed (2024) in the master and two twins in bedroom 2. The bathroom features a walk-in shower (no tub). For outdoor activities, Leinaala Oceanfront #405 is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and children's sand toys. Sleeps 4.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Leinaala is a small 24 unit oceanfront property with panoramic views. Each unit faces the ocean. Leinaala has a relaxed and private atmosphere with a great feeling of the aloha spirit. Beachside tennis courts are available for use.

The view is magnificent! We only had three nights here and I wish we had many more. The house feels updated and is very well stocked for cooking, the beach, extra towels, pillows ect. Beds and pillows are all so comfortable to sleep on. We had a couple of gecko friends that entertained my young children and they saw themselves out so I think they are regulars. The breeze through the condo is great during the day and the mini split cooled us right down at night. Super clean! We did not use the pool because our family was next door and had a larger pool with more amenities, but our view was better. We saw a sea turtle about 5 minutes down the beach. Very quiet and safe area. The only thing that was a little bummer was the lanai can only fit a small table with two chairs (and lounger) but as a family of four, we couldnā€™t all eat together.

My family and I spent a week at this property and enjoyed our experience. The location was great and meant we could get to all our activities around the island easily. The unit was clean and spacious for a family of 4. The views of the ocean are great! The kitchen provides exactly what you need to prepare meals. I would stay here again!

There is a small window air conditioner. We didnā€™t even try it. Jalousie windows throughout are not known for their insulation properties. How ever we didnā€™t feel air conditioning was needed. With the windows open you get a really good wind tunnel effect through the apartment that cools it off pretty well. The beach equipment was really great. Chairs, coolers and umbrella. Even noodles and toys for kids. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Location!

We loved the quiet, clean property and especially loved the lanai facing the the park and water! Out on the lanai each day we started with coffee enjoying the beautiful view, and park activities. The sunsets from the lanai were so colorful and beautiful!!!

Great Spot!

The condo was well maintained and had all the necessities for our stay. Communication with the owners was great. I wish I had done a bit more research on the beach before booking because it was very narrow and not kid friendly. Overall, we had a fantastic time!

We like that the complex is smaller and quieter. The beach feels like it's your own private beach with how quiet it is. The condo is well equipped, clean and had everything we needed. The view is absolutely perfect to watch the sunset each night on the patio. We cannot wait to return!

Excellent Location

Excellent location, and quick access to a beautiful part of the beach. We loved watching the sea turtles. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The window unit A/C will not cool the entire condo, only the main living space. The bedrooms do have ceiling fans and additional fans are provided but it was still very warm at night. We made due. Iā€™m sure there is a trick to getting the air to flow through the condo by using the fans and opening the louvered windows (to avoid the A/C use) but we never could get it to cool down any that way. Overall we were still really happy with the condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great. We are frequent guests at Leinaala. The property is great and the views magnificent. And your company is very professional and easy to work with. If you could get a suggestion to the owners...the window screens, especially in the bedrooms need repair/replacing. Most of the fasteners to hold the screens in place are broken so the screens are not secured to the widow frames. Plus two of the screens have holes. There was a rather large **** roach in one of the bedrooms which could have entered the condo through the unsecured screens.

Overview

The property was wonderful and in a great location. We had no problems other than an area-wide power outage just as we arrived that made the elevator inoperable. The property manager carried some of our light up the four floors for we could get settled on the unit. This was well beyond what we expected and was greatly appreciated.

It was clean, had all of the amenities we cared about, and had a terrific view from the balcony. The A/C unit in the living/dining area went unused as the temps were fine. As noted by others, no A/C in the bedrooms which may be an issue in the summer.We only used the main bedroom with the king bed, it is firm which we like and we slept well. The shower was fine, the kitchen and living area were also just fine. The couch is comfortable. Plenty of kitchenware should you wish to cook, but only a few staples for your use (oil, salt, etc.). There are beach chairs/umbrella, ice chests, which we used and were in good condition.There are many places to eat and shop within a couple of mile radius.Good communication with Rentals Maui staff, easy to reach. Onsite manager was friendly and helpful.There are community pickleball courts nearby so be aware you'll hear that starting at 8am. Didn't bother us too much.We will stay here again next time we visit Maui.

Beautiful setting

This property has a beautiful setting overlooking a large green space out to the ocean. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching all the action! Dog walkers, yoga, pickleball, paddle boarders, boats, whales!

We had one hiccup with reserved parking one day, but that was quickly fixed. The location was perfect for all of our island adventures. We can't wait to go back!!
