Imagine waking to the sound of the ocean from our 6th floor, beach-front condo! Right on Madeira Beach, our condo complex has a heated pool, hot tub, shuffleboard court, tiki hut and a large barbeque grill. Experience true on-the-beach living!

Luxuriate in a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine from the 30 foot long balcony which spans the length of the condo. Access the balcony from both the living room and master bedroom so everyone can truly appreciate the breathtaking ocean views and spectacular sunsets. You might even get to see the elusive "green flash" as the sun settles below the horizon.

Madeira Beach, which the locals call Mad Beach, stretches in front of our condo which we lovingly call La Playa Loca. Enjoy the 180 degree view of the Gulf of America. If you'd rather swim closer to home, feel free to use the building's heated pool and hot tub reserved exclusively for those staying at the Ocean Sands complex.

Our condo is located between Clearwater and St. Pete Beaches, and within 45 mins. of Tampa International Airport. The building is within a short walking distance to a grocery store, drug store, convenience store, restaurants, bars, shops, a post office and a library. The popular John's Pass Village is a short trolley ride away.

La Playa Loca is professionally cleaned between guests and offers all the amenities you'd expect in a fully furnished condo:

- Wall-mounted TVs and fans in the Living Room and

We enjoyed the "berry" nice welcome back to the beach. Our stay was enhanced by the new blue color scheme in the living room, as well as the new Keurig in the kitchen. This was our third day in this beautiful unit. Sitting on the large balcony watching the sunset every night is beautiful. Scott and Laurie are the most generous hosts. The condo is filled with everything you could possibly need. The king mattress was very comfortable. We look forward to our return in 2028.

We had a wonderful stay here for the 3rd time. The owners are fantastic. They have supplied the condo with everything you could possibly need, and they truly care about providing a worry free vacation! The location is perfect! We walked to multiple restaurants in the area. The view is fabulous from the huge balcony. The sunsets are spectacular!We have been to multiple properties in this area and this one stands out as the best! We are already booked for next year. We have stayed in the area for several years and Scott and Laurie were by far the best hosts yet. They had everything we could want or need to make our stay at the beach wonderful. Condo and the building itself were very clean even with work going on to some repairs from the hurricane. We hope to stay there again next year.

We found our favorite vacation place!

We loved our A.M. beach walks, the proximity of restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacy, but most of all, we loved your beautifully decorated condo, so generously equipped with everything. Relaxing Getaway!

We had an amazing time in Madeira Beach while staying here. The condo is in a great location and enjoying coffee on the balcony overlooking the beach each morning was fabulous! The hosts are great to work with, responsive and accommodating. We felt very welcomed and appreciated in their condo. Whether we were in the pool, inside, or on the balcony we were able to truly relax and enjoy our stay.

We truly enjoyed Scott and Laurie’s condo. Beautiful place and location. In the many years of staying in vacation rentals, we’ve never stayed in a place so well stocked. Welcome to paradise!

After staying at multiple properties in the area, this was our favorite. The condo is beautifully decorated and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the balcony and evening sunsets. I have stayed here 5 times and every time when our 14 days are up it is sooo very hard to leave. The owners are extremely considerate and they sincerely care about their guest! This Place Has It All

This beachfront condo provides everything you need for fun, inside and out. The decor, amenities, comfort and location are perfect. The sunsets from the huge balcony were magnificent and walking to the beach bars/restaurants for good food and live music was such fun. Scott and Laurie are extremely generous and thoughtful hosts. A Home Away from Home! My wife and I traveled to Scott and Laurie's beautiful "La Playa Loca" with our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. We were amazed at how clean, organized and stocked their condo was. Their detailed instructions and hospitality went beyond our expectations. Their spacious balcony had an ocean view and a beautiful seating area. We enjoyed the ample amenities available to us, such as the condo pool, beach toys and chairs, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and all the coffee and spices imaginable. Scott and Laurie definitely take pride in their beautiful vacation home. We will definitely be returning to this condo with our family in the future!

Loved It !

Beautiful condo located on 6th floor with amazing views. Very clean and comfortable. The owners are very nice and aim to please their guest. Located right on beach and within steps to pool. John's pass 1 mile south of condo. Don't hesitate - this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Beach Paradise

Our stay at La Playa Loca exceeded our expectations. Scott and Laurie were perfect hosts and thought of everything. Anything you could possibly need was in the condo. The location near restaurants and stores is ideal. All the beach equipment and even a cart made beach time a breeze. The large deck was a perfect place to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and dolphin sightings.

Spring 2025

Our family has enjoyed this property many times in the past. We were delighted to come again this year for a longer stay. Our adult kids were able to come for a few days too. The location is perfect for relaxing, enjoying the pool and beach, and dining in a variety of places. The hosts are great communicators and have a wonderful place they are happy to see visitors enjoy. We've been a variety of vacation rental and the hospitality shown here is unmatched! We hope to continue returning in the future as an escape from the cold. Nothing beats sun on your face and sand in your toes!

We love the mountains in our home state of Colorado, but we also feel right at home on the Florida beaches!

We have lived in Colorado since the late 90's and enjoy all that our beautiful state has to offer. Scott retired from the Air Force and Laurie is a retired librarian who was raised in Tampa. We have two adult daughters, our "Colorado girls," who also love spending time on the beach.

Having grown up in Tampa, Laurie spent a lot of time with her family on local beaches. She even remembers walking along Madeira Beach as a child. Buying this condo brought our family back to our Florida roots.

When Laurie first walked in, she looked through the living area, directly onto the ocean. Also, she really liked the easy access to the 30 foot balcony from both the living room and the master bedroom.

Scott also liked that many conveniences are within a short walking distance from the condo. With access to a trolley, you could go days without driving a car!
