Island Oasis - Luxury Pool Home Steps to the Beach

Your beach home away from home. This gorgeous large beach home is located in the heart of Melbourne Beach. Private beach access is just a minute walk. After a nice relaxing day at the beach fishing, catching some surf, tanning in the sun or strolling along the magnificent beaches, you can enjoy the island oasis out back with a BBQ and beautiful heated pool. Take a nice leisurely walk down to the river or to the Melbourne Beach Pier for one of our amazingly beautiful sunsets. Ryckman park offers three different playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts and of course the beautiful pier. Inquire to rent a Golf Cart or E-bike for a fun open-air experience and to get around town easily. If cooking is not on your list, visit one of our local pubs or restaurants just 6 blocks away on Ocean Avenue. Want to take a break from the beach for a day? How about a game of golf? Spessard Holland golf course is an 18 hole course located in between the beach and the river just 5 minutes away. Not a golf fan, visit our world famous Ron Jons Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach or stop by the Kennedy Space Center for a blast off experience. Take a day and head to Orland for an adventurous theme park experience at one of our many Disney / Universal parks. Enjoy all of these amenities while staying in a spacious beach house.
Depending on the time of year you book with us our small town has some fun festivals/events.

Downtown Melbourne has a street party every second Friday of every month.
On Saturday 11/30/19 at 6:00pm Viera starts up the holiday season with the Light up Viera parade.
Each Saturday in December, downtown Melbourne puts everyone in the holiday spirit with Candlelight shopping, carriage rides, hot coca, and visits with Santa bring smiles to all.
Melbourne Beach has one of the best holiday events! On Christmas Eve, Santa and his helpers bring Christmas gifts to each child, takes pictures, gives out candy canes to all at their nearest stop. Our stop is at the end of Surf Rd. If you are interested in having a gift delivered to your child by Santa please contact me before and I will provide the details. It's always a great time and a memory the kids will have for a lifetime!

This is a perfect location for all ages. If you prefer the beach, you’re close enough to walk. The access doesn’t have public parking so you don’t have to worry about overcrowding. The short walk to the beach also encourages evening walks. A quiet neighborhood too. We walked each morning, minimal traffic and noise. If you prefer poolside, this meets every need. I especially appreciate the shallow area where you can sun bathe in a chair while keeping your feet dipped in the water. The pool is in great shape and the nightlights add a little something for an after dark dip. Plenty of necessities on site, such as beach towels, dishes, linens, etc. beds are comfy. So many good things to say about this house. We’ve been several times and would encourage anyone looking to stay in Melbourne to check this place out. Plenty of food options too, in case you’d rather not cook. DoorDash and GrubHub can hook you up. Groceries can be delivered to your door. Great fishing too. You can fish from a nearby pier or charter. Five stars every time.

Fabulous Beach home very close to beaches!

We had a wonderful time at this beach home. It’s probably the BEST stocked home we have ever rented through VRBO. The owners have thought of everything and don’t lock you out of extra supplies. The kitchen is very well stocked and includes lots of extras! Rooms were comfortable. Pool was fantastic! Gorgeous Lanscaping around the entire property. Very safe area and an easy walk to the beach.

Perfect Girl’s Weekend Getaway

Book this place immediately! With 4 bedrooms, a dining room and two sitting rooms, the house is spacious, yet homey. It is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to relax with chairs, wagons and beach towels for the beach and plenty of seating and floats for the pool. TVs are in every room with a strong WIFI signal and a selection of games allowing each person room to choose their entertainment. The backyard is a dream with an open pool, covered Lanai and covered patio. The beach is easily accessible for beautiful sunrises and morning walks. And a quick bike ride to the inter coastal for glowing sunsets. We tried several spots for dinner and drinks, BBs Grill was wonderful and directly on the beach. Delicious food and top notch service! The farmers market at Riverside park was a great way to spend an hour on Saturday with vendors ranging from food, sun catchers , clothing and skin care. Lisa was extremely accommodating and responsive. We will be back!

Great Stay!

My family and I stayed here for a couple of days. There were 9 of us total, 5 adults and 4 kids ages 3-14. This house was the perfect size for all of us without feeling on top of each other. The backyard/pool area is spectacular. The 2inch side bar on the pool was perfect for our 3 year old. The house had everything needed for the pool or beach - chairs, floats, buckets, etc. My only suggestion - there was binder full of great information (phone numbers, garbage days, places to eat, things to do, etc.) put together. However, it was tucked away in a corner and we didn't find it until one of our last days. It would be helpful to have it out on the counter to see right away. Otherwise, everything was great and would definitely come back!

Amazing stay

We loved every bit of our vacation. Pool kept the kids busy all week. Beach was a very short walk. Restaurants were close. Perfect location and perfect beach house.

Family reunion favorite

This is our 3rd year in this house for our family reunion. It is the best. Love the tiki hut...we spent evenings playing pirate ring toss and laughing so hard. This house has so many features -- well equipped for babies, toddlers and everyone. Besides the tiki hut, there is the heated pool!! We are planning to come back next year for our 4th reunion.

What you see is what you get!

We’ve booked our second stay at this location. Love the location. Close to the beach and if you’re not wanting to make the trek the pool will absolutely give you the privacy and relaxation you need. Can’t wait to stay here again this summer. Our entire family is looking forward to it.

Great Property

Truly an Oasis

We had a wonderful stay. Great location. Very short walk to the beach. Salt water pool was clean and refreshing. Great amenities, especially if traveling with children. We would definitely go back.

Was a great experience so close to all things yet far enough away that it felt very private The trees around the pool made it feel like there were no neigbors. We would and probably will stay again if it works out All the supplies were there for a trip to the beach which was the final item that sold me on the place Was nice not having to bring extra stuff The pool was heated which was great as the temps were a little cooler but poll felt great Extra supplies were there like tooth brush etc They thought of it all and was a great stay Thanks

Family Gathering

The property is well appointed with everything needed for homey comfort inside, a great outdoor play area with heated pool, and even bikes for cruising. The furnishings are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There is a relaxed beach feel that is exactly what we wanted. It is close to the beach, shopping, good restaurants and local attractions but tucked in a quiet spot that feels very private when you are in the house and pool area. Perfect for hanging out with family and relaxing.

Absolutely perfect.

This was my first experience with a Vrbo. We had nine adults in an infant that was just turned one. This was a great experience. Lisa quickly answered all my questions that I had. The house had everything you will ever need to stay there and more. Location is great. 10 minute walk to the ocean. Plenty of stores and shopping around. washer and dryer was a bonus. We didn’t nearly need to pack as much as we did. Awesome for a larger group. So much room. We had a great time in the pool as well. I definitely would recommend this place to everyone.

Christmas in Florida

Well stocked, clean property-matched listing. Very close to beach entrance as described. For the most part it is a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely consider staying here again if we were to return to area. Plenty of room for all of us (5 adults) to spread out.

Great house with easy beach access

Overall we were very happy with our stay. The house is spacious and well accommodated. We always found what we needed in the kitchen, extra linens, detergents, plenty of beach towels, etc. Wifi worked well, beds were comfy. The pool and tiki hut are great and we used the grill and really enjoyed eating under there. A/C was working fine. The walk to the beach is quick and easy (3 minutes) - you do have to cross a busy street, and there is one set of steep stairs to access the beach - these things were fine for us but could be tricky for anyone who isn’t able bodied. The beach itself is super private and very “wild” and remote feeling. Absolutely beautiful. Lots of waves in this part of FL so don’t expect to be able to go in very far. The one con about this house is the outdoor furniture. It’s really tired and needing to be replaced. For the price we paid, we didn’t think the outdoor furnishings were up to par. Also the outdoor area hadn’t been wiped down or swept and that was a bit annoying. Overall great house, we had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable.

Amazing Stay

Loved loved loved this place! So close to the beach and had everything we needed for a group of family and friends. The grill and seating area in the back was perfect for a cookout. Our hosts were amazing and even after a mix-up on VRBO were so accommodating. Really appreciate the house and experience overall. Would definitely return!

No Air Conditioning During Our Stay!!

The home itself is beautiful. The location is perfect. However when the air goes out in the home on the first day and doesn't get repaired until day 6 of your vacation then none of those other things matter. The home averaged 85 degrees. We had to go out and purchase our own fans because nothing was offered to us other than it will get fixed soon. I couldn't stress enough we had small children and elderly people and the temps in the home were rising. The owner refunded us $750.00 but when you pay over $4000.00 for a vacation home it was a slap in the face. Every single person woke up in sweat. we couldn't cook in the home because it was too hot. We had to go to a family friends home several times to take a break from the heat in the home. It was unbearable. This was by far the worst vacation ever. Shame on the owner for not doing more!!

Truly an Island Oasis

Island Oasis is the perfect name for this wonderful property. Inside, the home is well appointed for a relaxing comfortable stay featuring an open and airy coastal-cottage vibe that opens up to an inviting poolside area surrounded by lush tropical plantings. The covered Tiki bar/hut is a gem. We had lovely al fresco dinners within its twinkling-lit structure. Being here immediately shifts your whole being into relaxation mode. Perfectly located, the home is set within a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the beach and a minutes drive to conveniences, be sure to check out Melbourne Market. The hosts were gracious and attentive. Our family enjoyed an amazing stay here, we loved it, and we will be sure to return. Thank you Lisa and Joanie.
