Minutes from Moonstone Beach, Hearst Castle and Elephant Seal Sanctuary. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. The apartment is upstairs. There is a kitchenette including stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. Located in Pine Knolls Estates in the heart of Cambria. The space

Apartment is upstairs. There is a kitchenette including stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. Spacious bedroom with comfortable queen bed. Have your morning coffee or tea sitting outside on the deck enjoying the view of Fiscallini Ranch Preserve, Monterey Pine forest and the ocean in the distance. If you're lucky you may see deer and wild turkeys in the yard.

You will have complete access to the entire 600 square foot upstairs apartment adjacent to our residence.

Interaction with guests

We are happy to offer sightseeing suggestions, wineries to visit, our favorite restaurants. Please don't hesitate to ask. We would like your visit to be as pleasant as possible.

Other things to note

In order to walk to East or West Village for shopping and dining you will be required to walk downhill on Pine Knolls Drive to Main Street and then back uphill to the apartment. It is about a 5 minute walk to Main Street.

The apartment is great! Clean and comfortable, and there's an ocean peek from the deck. The kitchen is well equipped. Gerry & Paula stock the fridge with some breakfast items to help get your day started, and a bottle of wine to help wind it down. The apartment is separate from the main house which reduced my concerns about disturbing the hosts during my visit. The property is in a very nice neighborhood and very close to Main Street where the majority of the restaurants, shopping and services are located. I've enjoyed my two stays at this property and would stay here again.

What a perfect way to unwind! Quiet, peaceful and well-equipped, this was exactly what I needed. The wine was excellent, and Gerry even informed me of a rocket launch happening a few minutes after I arrived. I highly recommend this spot (as long as you don’t mind climbing stairs).

Our stay was absolutely great. Gerry and Paula are the best hosts ever! They made our stay so nice and enjoyable . The apt is so cute and clean and very comfy. They left great info regarding Cambria and nearby places in a binder on the table. They left a bottle of wine on the table with two glasses to greet us. Very nice. This will absolutely be the place we will try to stay every time we visit Cambria!!

Great place to stay

This apartment was exactly what we needed and expected. With a well equipped kitchen, toiletry supplies you may have forgotten, WiFi, close to Main St, farmers market, restaurants, beach, Hearst Castle, and more, it was a great find. The hosts are responsive and thoughtful. They even provided waffles, English muffins, and a bottle of wine.

Perfect home for visiting Cambria

We really enjoyed our stay. This apartment was very clean and comfortable, ample parking. The location made it easy to get around Cambria and surrounding areas. We look forward to our next visit and hope to stay again. Paula and her husband are super responsive and kind. Just couldn’t ask for a better experience. We are grateful.

Perfect Accommodations

We were very surprised at how nice this place was. The pictures on VRBO did not give this place it's true justice. The accommodations were excellent. Nice kitchen area, great bathroom facilities, comfortable bedroom and living room space, and they provided a bottle of wine, and food for a nice breakfast. I mean, What? The owners are wonderful people and the location? Well, let's just say..........HOME RUN!!!!

Very well cared for one-bedroom apartment on the second floor with owners adjacent - available but never poking around. Basic amenities offered and then some. He suggests that you park under the Coral Tree but park just a few feet farther as the bird droppings are legion directly under the tree.

Our Perfect Anniversary Get-Away!

For our 54 wedding anniversary, we stayed four nights at Gerry and Paula's charming, relaxing and comfortable apartment in Cambria (the Coral Tree). We love the peaceful and quiet environment located up the hill. Gerry and Paula were very thoughtful hosts, stocked up the fridge with breakfast items. Just perfect for us to start the mornings. The place is more beautiful than the pictures and just the perfect size. We truly enjoyed out stay and we'd love to stay at The Coral Tree again.! Always a great stay!

We’ve stayed here many times and have enjoyed every minute! Quiet, clean, and every amenity you could need is provided, and then some. The hosts are easy to communicate with, and the space is exactly as represented. We love staying here!

Cute apartment in between East & West Village

Super clean apartment! Loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings watching the deer - the view is awesome. The apartment is set on top of a hill, you look down on Main Street and Highway 1. It's a very quiet neighborhood. The hosts are top notched!!

Gerry & Paula paid great attention to detail and made us feel pampered and at home. Very clean and new apartment, everything worked, adequate utensils, kitchen stocked including a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us. Orange juice, cream, coffee, waffles, English muffins, butter, and oatmeal provided for breakfast!! The bed and sofa were perfectly comfortable. The shower was wonderful, brand new. Very easy to check in and out. Paula was available and responsive if you should need anything. I’m really glad we chose this place versus staying down near the Main Street. Super easy to drive into town for restaurants and shopping when desired. This place was private, quiet, beautiful views that make you feel like you are on top of the world. In nature and we saw deer and birds from our kitchen window. I would definitely go back here again. Thank you G&P

Perfect location

What a great lil place. Such a quiet location with great views of the Cambria valley area. The place is well appointed with everything you would need and very comfortable with the heaters for those cold mornings. Gerry and Paula are so nice and live on site so just know that if there is ever an issue, it will be taken care of quickly. They weren’t kidding either. We saw several deer on the evening we checked in as well as a whole bunch of wild turkey walking down the road. We will definitely stay again if in the Cambia area.

Excellent, quiet location

Have stayed in many hotels in Cambria. The Treehouse is a nice spot to get away from crowds on Moonstone drive and in town at the end of the day. Property is very clean and comfortable and well stocked. Gerry and Paula have covered every detail. We will return!

Perfect getaway

Property was clean and had all the amenities I needed. I enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings. It was a short drive to the Elephant seal rookery at Pierdas Blancas, I love to visit the seals this time of year. Close to town but, I do recommend driving due to the steep streets. I definitely want to return in the summer.

Perfect Upper Flat

Well appointed upper apartment. Heaters work very well. Very cozy stay. Great location and easy to get around Cambria. Beautiful views from the living room. We would like to return to take advantage of the balcony, in nicer weather. And, we loved seeing deer and wild turkeys in the yard. Thanks Gerry, for a great stay!

A cozy apartment with a beautiful view in a quiet, secluded neighborhood--you'll even see deer in the backyard! Very clean, tidy, comfortably furnished with continental breakfast available in the fridge and complimentary bottle of wine. Although too steep to walk to the downtown, it's just a minute's drive away to good restaurants and shops. Gerry was a great host and responded timely to questions and requests. Thanks for the lovely time at your property!

A Great Place To Stay

Gerry and Paula were gracious hosts. The place was very clean with lots of amenities. Coffee, English Muffins and a much appreciated welcome bottle of wine were provided. Very close to Main Street in Cambria and to Moonstone Beach. About 30 miles from Paso Robles for some fun wine tasting. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Gerry and Paula.
