Tucked (or is it nestled?) into the heart of Old Seagrove, this home sits near 30A, a stretch of the Gulf Coast known for its charm and natural beauty, a perfect spot for beach days, bike rides, and grabbing a fresh seafood dinner nearby.

Inside, the main level is open and inviting, with a comfy living area, dining space, and a kitchen that keeps the conversation flowing. A guest room with two twin beds and a hall bath make it great for families.

Upstairs, the primary suite comes with a private wraparound porch (ideal for slow mornings with coffee), while the guest rooms has its own full bath.

The third level is a gem. The hidden hangout, with a cozy kitchenette and outdoor seating area, set the scene for sunset cocktails over the Seagrove treetops. Very nice.

At Oversee 30A, we’re a locally owned team passionate about making every stay seamless. Our office is just down the road, open seven days a week, with 24/7 support if you need anything at all.

I can’t say enough good things about Mellow Yellow. It was perfect for my family of 5. It was a 3 minute walk to the beach and a quick car ride from Seaside, so the location was great and made for a perfect vacation for me and my family.

First time being sadly disappointed with a VRBO rental. This place has so much potential, if there was a little upkeep, deep cleaning and maintenance. Let me start with the positives of our stay at Mellow Yellow. The location is amazing, very short walk to the beautiful beach and the bikes were a nice addition to the home. The beds were very comfortable. They even had very nice marketing gifts…tumblers to keep. The unpleasant part started with the upkeep of the home. The yard is overgrown and not maintained. Upon opening the front door, you’re met with an overwhelming smell of chemicals attempting to cover the musty smell. Living room furniture and carpets are filthy, shower has permanent mold. Master bathroom had missing towel bar, cracked shower door at the bottom, front door didn’t seal properly, my husband believes it isn’t meant for that particular door frame. There really were too many items that need attention to list. Televisions were not user friendly. It is worthy to mention the management company offered to come over to determine the smell, but couldn’t guarantee anything. We chose to make the best of our stay and forgo this because of it being the busy season.

Great location. Master bed was comfortable and was great having a pool, but the proximity to the beach was the best thing about the home. We would stay here again.

Perfect location

Mellow yellow was a dream. The distance to beach was perfect, as well as the distance to other beaches. We enjoyed the bikes and the pool and grill as well. Easy check in and easy access for the family to come and go to the beach.

Perfect Beach Vacation!

My whole family (my parents, husband, and 2 kids under 3) stayed at this house. It was perfect!! We loved how close we were to the beach, the house fit us all comfortably, and the sidewalks outside were perfect for teaching my 3 year old how to ride a bike. We loved this house and can’t wait to come back!

Exceeded our expectations

I always read reviews online, so I felt confident with our booking going into this trip. I did not realize how much the house/neighborhood/area would exceed our expectations. Everything was very clean and stocked with exactly what it is listed to provide. The neighborhood felt very safe and was centrally located between all the fun things running down both sides of 30A. Our only regret from this trip was not vacationing here sooner with our kids.

Family Beach Vacation

Great location. Easy 3-5 min walk to the beach. Full kitchen which made it possible to cook and enjoy meals as a family. Property manager was communicative and able to assist with any needs promptly.

Relaxing Stay

Great house beautiful area, we had a great stay, clean and organized, plenty of rooms to sleep and beds were comfortable. TV took a bit to understand how to use and looked like there was a stereo with speakers around the house but couldn't get it to work. We enjoyed the bikes, pool was a perfect size. Wish there was some beach chairs to utilize. Also we liked sitting on the porches but wish there was some cushioned outdoor seating.

Great location

Can't really beat the location. The inside is a bit dated and could use some updates. Pool is quite small, so do keep that in mind. Overall, good place to stay with family/ and or friends.

Labor Day Stay at Mellow Yellow

We stayed at Mellow Yellow for our annual Beach Getaway with a group of college friends and our kids. This house was perfect! Most of our group had never experienced 30A before, so this was the perfect spot right in the middle of everything. The beach access was right across the street, making it incredibly easy for us to have awesome beach days. The patio pool was the perfect size for hanging out, especially with little kids. We would 10/10 recommend and stay here again!

Great trip!

Loved the proximity to the beach and to downtown Seaside. The pool got a little foggy due to the rain one night- property manager sent someone out same day to shock it. Overall it was a perfect week!

Fall Break Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was just as described. Easy walk to beach straight down San Juan. Heads up that there is bridge construction going on right beside the property currently and those guys get going pretty early in the morn. Have used Oversee multiple times and they always do a great job with communication.

Perfect Getaway in a perfect location

Mellow Yellow was the perfect getaway for two couples! Can't beat the three minute walk to the public beach, and the pool was a perfect way to cool off at the end of the day. Location is great, close to nearby stores and shops, not to mention the supplied bikes were a perfect way to explore 30A! Highlight of the house was stargazing from the 3rd story crow's nest.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our stay at Yellow Mellow however we would suggest to fix the gap at the entrance door to prevent unwanted visitors. Overall we had a wonderful vacation, perfect location and loved biking to the local restaurants. We also appreciated an early check in as we were tired from the car trip with 4 kids. As I called the office answered immediately and let us in, what a relief! After a short nap we ran to the beach and the view was breathtaking! Thank you for a perfect family vacation. We also loved the pool by the house, great for relaxing or playing too!

The size of the house was perfect for our family and the balconies were wonderful for evening relaxation. The location is fantastic! We wish the pool was a little bigger and easier to get to from the house. We definitely will rent Mellow Yellow again.

It was missing a dust pan but when I asked the management company had someone drop one off the same day. Quiet area. It is a very short walk to the beach, however it is a beach access with no ramp so when we carried the youngest and all the toys and wagon we walked to next access over. Still a short walk to that one too but would have been more convenient not to do that. I should have checked the beach access points better I guess. The pool was the perfect for our family and we spend a ton of time in it. Its also nice that the laundry room is where the back door is for quickly tossing towels in the washer. The house does need some tlc for minor repairs but it is nothing huge. I would certainly rent again and recommend. We did let management know the dishwasher smelled like fish and laundry room did too when you opened the door so they could handle that. Would also recommend the shaved ice place down the street, Hokulia Shave Ice. It was delicious!
