Only 25 steps from our back patio and your toes are in the ocean. Our east property line is the high tide water line of the Atlantic Ocean on Hammock Beach in the Hammock of Palm Coast. Unbeatable ocean views, privacy, and nature abound at our 2-story, 4 Bedroom house. A SEPARATE LIVING UNIT PER FLOOR; each with own kitchen/living area, this is great for two families staying together but wanting some privacy. (Outside stairwells only) SLEEPS 10. PET FRIENDLY.

The LazyGreenTurtle sits at the end of a private sanded road that borders a state park. The house itself is directly oceanfront. In fact, the house sits SO close to the water that when you stand by our deck railing, you can easily think you are standing on the bow of a cruise ship. The house boasts a coastal casual decor with artistic features, antique treasures and natural artifacts. It's the ideal venue for your next relaxing Florida vacation in a laid back natural hammock full of creative residents.

Each Floor of the LazyGreenTurtle has its own kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, bath/s and even a washer/dryer! This is absolutely perfect for several families traveling together or any group desiring self-contained spaces as well as plenty of togetherness. The house works well as a harmonious whole, even though there is no interior stairwell. Two outside stairwells go from floor to floor, one in the back and one in front. 6 flat screen HDTV's with 150+ cable channels and 250 Mbps wifi included.

Step out onto the HUGE, 800 sf second-floor oceanfront deck and you will see a sweeping view of the coastline, including unspoiled natural dunes and the apricot-tinged coquina shell sands unique to this part of northeast Florida. Outdoor comfy couches, and dining tables make it easy socialize and eat alfresco on this deck. Kick off your shoes, mix up a smoothie in the Vitamin and sit back. The rhythmic murmur of the surf, so close, the tinge of the salt in the sea breeze, and the vast pastel sky is hypnotic and utterly stress-relieving......Enjoy! That's why we call it LazyGreenTurtle...we want you to rest, rejoice, & rejuvenate!

Indoors, the view stays with you! Long windows fill the entire east wall of the LazyGreenTurtle's second floor, so you can enjoy the changing colors of the sea and watch the pelicans glide past even when you're lounging in the living room, surfing the web on our fast Wifi, or rustling up tasty appetizers in the kitchen!
The 2nd floor great room is made for family time together. A giant 2 sided fireplace made from coquina stone occupies one wall, complete with a hearth with sea treasures hidden among the stones. The little ones love looking for them! Several seating areas, make catching up with friends and family comfy and if you want to catch up on the news we have the 55" Smart TV with Spectrum Cable/HBO.
Adjacent to the great room/dining area is the kitchen, beautifully appointed, spotlessly maintained, and stocked with all the cookery and dishes you convection oven, counter grill, blender, crock pot, coffee maker and grinder. There are many nice features to discover here, from the dolphin-statue pedestal of the dining table to the unique backsplash made up of our local beach finds.
There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. The master suite is magnificent, with ocean views, a decorative stone fireplace, king size bed, desk for study, balcony access, and wall mount 52" HDTV. The bath includes a huge double shower, marble tiled floor, and convenient washer/dryer. The 2nd upstairs bedroom, the "Moon Room", has a king size bed, 52" HDTV, & balcony access with glorious views. Across the hallway is the 2nd bathroom, with a soaking bathtub and separate walk-in shower.
As open and bright as the upstairs is at Lazy Green Turtle, the downstairs is spacious and attractive as well.
Completely remodeled and completed in June 2018, this unit features lazy, breezy farmhouse modern decor with a touch of antique charm and a dab of nature beauty. You open the first floor red front door and directly enter the open kitchen, dining, living area. The rustic white kitchen displays quartz and wood counters, brand new appliances, unique backsplashes, and a 600# chef's butcher block. A TV hangs in one corner of the L-shaped room, seen from both kitchen and living rooms.
The downstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a KING and the other with a QUEEN bed, each bedroom with its own HDTV. (Please note: our pictures show a queen and full bed. We have replaced those with the larger bed size). The downstairs bathroom comes with a unique decor, bamboo vessel sink, and tub/shower combo.
Note: There are 6 total HDTV's, with 200+channel cable in Lazy Green Turtle. High Speed Internet with wifi accessible from all rooms in the house.

For those of you bringing along baby, we have a crib and high chair for your use. We also have lots of beach towels, blankets, floats, sand toys and beach play props.

Our neighborhood, the hammock of Palm Coast, has some pretty amazing business within a few miles including: creative eateries and coffee cafes, alfresco dining establishments, a fish monger, grocery store, gas stations, plant shops and art galleries, Just down the road is pastel colored, Flager beach with the ole Florida charm and many wonderful mom and pop eateries and shops. If you want to explore further historic St. Augustine is just 23 miles north and Daytona Beach the same distance south. Orlando is about 100 miles. Jacksonville about 60.
