Great Stay At The Lake

Mark was a wonderful host with a great property! The kitchen had all the tools we needed to properly cook all week. Everything was clean and Mark takes pride in making sure everything is safe. Will stay again!

Fishing trip

Fished with two friends for five days. The house is located mid lake and makes for quick access to any part of the lake. The house was very clean and comfortable and met our needs well.

The house was just as advertised.

Mark was very accommodating. The house was just as advertised. I rented a boat and the marina was a short distance from his house. Middle of the lake was a good location. Would definitely stay again.

Aaron we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have managed 2 lake front properties 15 years and honesty and attention to detail is important to us. The location about halfway up the lake is great. Literally within 60 seconds you can be under the bridge and deciding to go north or south on the lake. The house you can see is in great condition and plenty large. Look forward to seeing you next year.

Perfect Peaceful Place

First off the Host was so helpful. Mark went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The home was clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet. I enjoyed the outside setting of the home. We brought our boat. The launch is close by. The dock to the home is very nice to fish off or catch some sun. We had a fantastic weekend.

November 2018

Wish we had more time to stay longer. A great house that is nicely updated and furnished and well maintained. It was exactly as advertised. Was in a very nice neighborhood and felt very safe. Had everything we needed. Mark was very easy to work with and communicate with. He answered phone and text quickly with any question. A level front lot and plenty of room to park. Had a very large deck off back of the house with plenty of seating. We really liked that we could see the dock and water from every room on the back side of the house. The kitchen, and very large family room with pool table, large dining room/kitchen table seating 8 people, laundry room and full bath were all downstairs on the lake level so you can easily walk onto deck and down to the lake. Location on the lake was so convenient to the big water and by water as close as 1/2 of a mile to Port Royale Marina for gas, supplies and boat rentals, and Pelican's Pete Tiki Bar and Grill that serves lunch and dinner. So loved the location to "big water". Dock was in very deep water and had a beautiful view out to big open water. The walk to the dock had a nice path with wood chips and nicely trimmed and was an easy walk to and from the dock. Dock was a double decker dock and upstairs was an even better view of big water for just relaxing. The dock lower level was larger than most and had lots of room for our things. The dock is protected by a small peninsula that sticks out near the dock and so there are wakes from boats because they are blocked so the dock sits there quiet and level even on weekends with lots of boats going by. We are definitely coming back and will bring the whole family.

Awesome Stay

Loved our week at the lake with our pups! House is located just around the corner from Browns Bridge and was so convenient to big water! We enjoyed our work views and jumping on the boat to go to lunch at Pelican Pete’s during the week. The dock and cove were awesome and neighbors were so friendly! Mark is great too!

Mark = great owner.

Mark was so accommodating. He answered all my questions prior to renting his home. During our stay he checked to make sure if we needed anything. Thanks Mark. Great time was had by all!

Wonderful Week

Lake Lanier is one of the most beautiful and clean lakes that I have ever visited. Location and weather for the week we selected were absolutely perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking at nearby trails. Neighbors were a bit loud with their music but I guess that should be expected at times.

Fabulous family getaway!

Yearly family vacation with our adult children and pets. Mark was great to work with! Checked in with us via text during the week to see if we needed anything. Pictures are accurate-lake is beautiful! Loved watching the deer visit while we floated off the dock! House was very clean and had all the comforts so home, beds all comfortable. Convenient location-anything you need within 10 miles. Fresh bag of charcoal for the grill a nice extra. Check-in/out smooth. Would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed having Kelly and family. She went above and beyond the normal to explain her reasons to visit the area, volunteered that she rents VRBOs often and treats them like her own home. Her pets, 3 this visit and a cat was something I normally limit to 2 max however, I was so impressed with my communication with her, I felt 100% sure all would go well. It went great and I never knew her pets were even there. Great family, great guest. Kelly I hope you return soon - Mark

Awesome stay!

I stayed for 2 weeks with my family and the house and lake were great! The house is accurate depicted in the listing with great common space and kitchen. The location was perfect- close to boat rentals and stores. The path down to the lake is a little steep but was doable for young children (3,5) and older individuals (75). Highly reccomend !

Home away from Home

We sold our home and needed a place to stay while our new build was completed. Great house, quiet cove, great views and wonder host. The home had everything we needed while we were “Homeless”! Our two pups and son enjoyed their stay too. So glad we found it!

Awesome place with awesome location on Lake Lanier!!!!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay. Everything was exactly as described. The owner was excellent to communicate and work with. He had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The place was very clean with great indoor space as well as large deck. Very nice cove with perfect location on the lake. We cannot wait to return!!!

Excellent place and location! Loved it.

Mark was excellent to deal with. He even met us at the dock when we arrived and helped carry luggage up from boat! He was very attentive to our needs but never over-bearing. The dock and cove was exactly what we were looking for. Excellent neighbors and the dock location exceeded our expectations. It’s a fairly easy walk to the dock (until you’re a bit elderly- which we aren’t yet :)). We have golden doodles and so did the neighbor, it was the best. Thoroughly enjoyed watching our family (including fur babies) have a great time. House was as described, unique floor plan, but loved that the main space was downstairs with the lake level. Sleeping is upstairs and the beds were fine. Nothing to complain about at all. The kitchen meets the needs of a stay, however is fairly basic. Our needs were easily met. We gave a 5 star on cleanliness, giving lenience since a long term renter had just moved out that morning. HOWEVER... if you are looking for a lake stay, dock play area with beautiful views and just enjoying family time, I would recommend this location to everyone (especially with dogs and boat). EXCELLENT.
