This quaint house on Ocean St is located just a 2-minute walk to beautiful Footbridge beach. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is one bathroom as well as an eat in kitchen with a washer and dryer. The living room includes a sofa with a pull out queen size memory foam bed and TV. There are air conditioners and ceiling fans in every room.

There is a shed in the yard that is equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, fishing pole as well as a beach buggy for easy travel to the beach. Off the back deck is a gas grill.

Unique lot with separate (detached) one-bedroom house (VRBO listing #1396693) on same parcel. Renting both houses together would be a great set up for multiple generation families or with friends. Together, the two houses can accommodate up to nine people.

Located in the quiet residential Footbridge Beach neighborhood of Ogunquit. The house is in an ideal location with only steps to Footbridge Beach and the Ogunquit tidal river allowing endless recreation opportunities for all ages. Bring or rent a stand up paddleboard or kayak. Fish for striped bass right off the footbridge or from the white sandy beach. Ride your inner-tube down the river with the tide. Footbridge Beach is equipped with restrooms.

This location gives you access to miles of sandy white beach. Take a trolley from Footbridge beach to beautiful downtown Ogunquit to experience an endless variety of shops, galleries and restaurants. Visit Perkins Cove to see a real working dock and watch the fishing boats come and go. This village-like cove has a mix of seafood restaurants, shops and boutiques. Take a stroll along the Marginal Way, one of New England's most beloved scenic coastal walks. Experience incredible ocean views from a paved path one and a quarter miles long.

Portland, Kennebunkport, York, and the Kittery Outlets are just a short drive away.

This property was sparkling clean, comfortable, convenient and well-stocked. We also appreciated the beach gear in the shed and the 2 parking spaces. Easy communications with the owner. We would definitely return.

Perfect stay!

Our family of 4, with a 4 and 6 year old, weā€™re so happy to be able to stay here! The location to footbridge beach was truly the best part. Communication with the owners was incredible and very helpful! We forgot we had to bring our own sheets, so stopped and bought some on the way, otherwise very smooth process!

Perfect location for a family vacation at the beach! Quiet street and just a very short walk to Foot Bridge beach and the trolley stop! We had a fabulous time, the home had everything we needed, sized just right for our family of four. Also loved the extra beach gear in the shed! A short walk to restaurants at the end of the street and short ride up the street to the center of Ogunquit! We would absolutely LOVE to return to this property again, and the owners were so sweet, helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this gem, and the cottage could not be cuter!!

Perfect spot for our family

We stayed here for a family beach vacation. It was an easy walk to footbridge, which was great for times when some kiddos needed a nap, or someone wanted to walk the beach alone. The crab nets and the boogie board in the shed was a hit! We truly hope to stay again.

Amazing

We had an amazing stay, the house was super clean and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We lucked out and had great weather and hit the beach every day, the proximity of the house to the beach is unmatched. Also, the property had PLENTY of beach chairs/beach toys etc., definitely regretted packing our own! We walked to downtown Ogunquit a few nights, which was about 20 minutes away - we even walked the beach straight down one of the nights. Just a great stay, canā€™t say enough good things about Steve or the property!

Great house but has issues

Perfect location and clean, but has a very musty smell and I did not feel well in the house. All my clothes ended up smelling like the house, which I really noticed when I got home and opened my suitcase. They have a dehumidifier running constantly in the basement. I suspect there is mold. Itā€™s too bad because the house is adorable and the location canā€™t be beat and the hosts were great.

Lovely House by the Sea

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental, a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in New England. Steve and Margi, the owners/hosts, made sure we were able to reach them if needed. Clean and very comfortable, this property is well maintained. Great restaurants nearby and lots to do in this area... We hope to return next year!

Perfect location

Cottage was perfectly sized for my family of four. Communication with the hosts was easy and we were very comfortable during our stay. Footbridge beach is a 5 minute walk away and is the best beach I have visited in Southern Maine--spacious, beautiful surf, and the June beach roses were just gorgeous. Would highly recommend and would be happy to book again!

My family and I enjoyed staying here for a perfect week at Footbridge beach. The owners had great communication and we had everything we needed. The location is amazing. The beach was so close. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance and the trolley stop is pretty much right out the front door, so you get to avoid all the traffic of downtown. We look forward to being able to return in the future.

Lovely property. Short walk to Footbridge/beach. House was clean/neat. Very well stocked with supplies renters might need. Washer & dryer. A/Cs & numerous fans. Walking. distance to at least 4 restaurants. Beautiful beach. Owners responsive. We had a very nice time and would consider this rental again in the future.

Fantastic cottage & location

I grew up in the area and this is an ideal location! Super close to Footbridge beach, so you don't have to deal with expensive parking or more crowded beaches at Ogunquit or Moody. If you don't mind a walk it's also ~20-25 min walking to the center of Ogunquit. Steve & Margi have done a great job updating the place while keeping it feeling like a beach cottage, and it was spotless.

Great Week

We spent the week WFH at Steve and Margi's cottage and had a great experience. The place was exactly as pictured/described and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was recently updated as mentioned with good water pressure. The wifi was strong and stable and the area was quiet if considering WFH. The biggest treat was proximity to the beach. We would absolutely stay there again and hopefully not work!

Perfect Location to Relax and Enjoy the Beach!

This front cottage was a perfect spot for a young family looking to stay slightly off the beaten path in Ogunquit and focus on the sand and waves at Footbridge Beach. We enjoyed the simplicity of this clean cottage, with all the extra beach needs at your finger tips - such as chairs, umbrellas, shovels, pails, etc. The homeowners were attentive and provided all the information you need for a simple and seamless get away. If we were ever to travel with a larger family group, renting both the front and back cottages would be ideal in giving family members close proximity to each other - yet a little extra vacation space too! We loved staying in this cottage and thank you to the owners for giving us a great inaugural Maine vacation!

Great house! The house was well taken care of and very clean. A quick walk to footbridge beach made the week with our 2 year old very easy. Nice area to grill and some out door space. The owners responded immediately to a few of our questions. We will be back for sure!

Awesome!

The house was perfect! It had everything we needed, including laundry, fully equipped kitchen, stocked shed with beach stuff, and it was so close to the beach. Steve and Margie are excellent and super courteous owners and will accommodate any need you have. We loved staying here, it was by far our favorite place, and we are in OGT a lot!

We had a wonderful stay and the house and property was perfect clean and all amenities you need especially in proximity to the beach and short walk to trolley to go into town Our girls took a walk every morning to go crabbing or walk along bay side before breakfast and before we went to beach for the day Also great communication throughout our stay Thank you again for making our stay comfortable and like at home We were sad to leave

Our family has vacationed in Ogunquit for 20+ years and love to spend time here. Our kids grew up going to this beach every summer and having the opportunity to purchase this house in 2018 is truly a dream come true.
