Ocean View, Pool Side, Walk out to the Beach

APATB III-II, Unit 3N - Our condo is located in the center building at A Place at the Beach III on Shore Drive next to the popular Ocean Annie’s Beach Bar. It is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit with a fabulous view of the ocean as well as a view of one of the two pools in the complex and the swash. Both bathrooms have been remodeled. The master bath has a walk-in shower. Flooring throughout the condo is non-carpeted. The kitchen is equipped with utensils, plates, cookware, appliances, disposal, etc. Washers and dryers are available on the first floor of the building.

The building sits directly on the beach. So when you step out of the building, you step onto the sand. You simply can’t get any closer! Because there are only three floors, there are no elevators to contend with. The two pool areas are furnished with lounge chairs. There are also two picnic areas with charcoal grills and picnic tables for use. There are great amenities within walking distance including a general store, souvenir shop, eateries, and golf cart rental. And it’s only a short drive to many other restaurants, shopping centers, and golf courses. Tanger outlets and Arcadian Shores Golf Club are less than three miles away.

Spring break 2024

It was awesome would love to stay again and will recommend to friends and family! Only thing is I wished it had the tv in the bedrooms and a washer and dryer

Unfortunately, the master bedroom TV had not yet been replaced when they booked. They were very understanding of the situation and accepted a partial refund. Great renters.

Great unit for a great week.

Kelly was great from the first day we booked, always responded quickly and was very helpful! The condo itself was very nice - updated, everything worked well, great views. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here on our next trips!

Another great stay

This is our second stay at this unit and we had a great time. Kelly was awesome just like last time, very responsive and helpful. The unit is in a great location with great views of the pool, ocean, and marsh. Will definitely be coming back!

Definitely 5 star accommodations!

The Condo was very clean and updated. Beautiful decor throughout the condo. Updated deck with ocean side view. The most relaxing vacation I’ve had in 22 years at Myrtle Beach. Shore drive is my favorite location. Close to everything. 🏝️❤️😎

Summer 2021 Vacation

First time renting this condo and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and everything was in place. Working with the owners was easy and they are great at getting back to us timely. We loved it so much we already lined up next year for the same room. Highly recommend!!!

Bad A/C equals bad beach week

The unit is exactly as it appears on the website, very attractive and updated. Except for one very important and necessary item, the air conditioning. Both a/c units were not functioning properly. The temp inside the condo remained in the 80's each day. The owner had the unit checked and was told it was doing ok. It was not. We slept with a box fan, and an oscillating fan each nite. Conversation with the owner resulted with no improvement.

The same day we received a message from the renters that the air conditioners were not working, we contacted a licensed HVAC company and a certified electrician who came and checked both units. They reported no issues. The HVAC service technician said the units were working the best they could in the 95+ degree heat. I can provide copies of the service calls that include their professional diagnostic reports. Also, I would like to note the renters in the unit before and the week after had no issues or complaints about air conditioners or temperature in the condo.

Absolutely perfect

If you are anything like me, you like to read reviews. I'll do my best to summarize....Location - perfect. When the owner, Kelly, says steps from the beach she means it. Not only are you steps from the beach, you are also steps from Ocean Annie's, Flip Flops bar and grill, Apache Pier, Shopping, icecream, etc. Walmart, Tanger Outlets and Kroger are less than a three minute drive. The Condo - Great! First, all solid surface flooring throughout, no carpeting. The kitchen was well stocked and clean with frying pans, etc. in good condition. If you are a Kcup coffee drinker you will be pleased to know that she has not only a standard coffee pot, but also a Keurig brewer. I had read a prior review stating that the air conditioning was inefficient which couldn't be further from the truth. My family froze me all week! This might be the first place I have ever stayed that I didn't roll towards my better half because of a soft or saggy mattress. Even the pull out sofa was comfortable and didn't have that typical bar that always seems to jab you in the back. The primary bedroom was large with ample storage with a very nice walk in shower. The second bedroom and bath is equally as nice. The unit is quiet and affords BEAUTIFUL views of both the ocean and the waterside. Two LARGE, clean pools onsite with TWELVE very nice charcoal grills. I'm out of room, but I can't say enough good things about this unit, specifically Kelly, the owner. Her communication was five star from day 1!

Awesome Property

We loved staying in this condo. When we first arrived there was a lot of water in the floor. I called the owner and she had someone in there to fix it in less than an hour. The leak was from a valve where they put the new dishwasher in. The condo has many updates and you can tell that they are continuing to update it. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely stay her again!

Great condo

We had a great stay at this condo! The condo was very clean and had plenty of space for our family of four. It also has comfortable furniture on the balcony where we spent nights looking out at the pool and ocean.
