This unit is perfectly located on the 6th floor overlooking the outdoor pool and gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. Avoid all elevators when you arrive and park directly on the 6th floor. Also, we have a keyless entry door lock so you and your family/friends do not have to keep up with a key during your stay!!



Phoenix X is one of the most popular condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach.



There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix X. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while your bbqing.



Come relax on the spacious 6th floor balcony with great views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed. This unit has been upgraded to include new cabinetry and appliances in the kitchen. We also have an extra half bath in the condo! We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls. Don't forget we are right next door to the Flora-Bama!

Parking: Parking passes are a one time fee of $70 plus tax per vehicle. You will receive an email prior to your arrival to purchase the passes and will then be picked up at the front desk upon arrival. One bedroom condos are guaranteed 1 parking pass. Two and three bedroom condos are guaranteed two parking passes. Additional passes will be sold based on availability in the parking lot.

Location was perfect, but could use updating. There were rust stains, faucet leaks, and worn furniture. The shower curtain had mildew and the patio furniture was extremely worn. I will say that the property was very clean and everyone was friendly.

Very nice layout. Beautiful view. Great location. Could have used more dining plates and silverware. Bath and 1/2 was nice touch for a one bedroom condo. Enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall experience was wonderful. Phoenix X staff went above and beyond when my car battery died.. the unit was clean. Aside from the sofa sleeper we intended to utilize. We had to sleep 3 in the bed. The mattress desperately needs to be changed and/or replace the sofa. Also, We were not able to turn on the tv in the living room too many remotes for one tv. which we really didn’t watch.

Unit needs to be repaired and checked for mold smellAppliance’s were new! But needs painting, couch needs to be replaced. Owner just needs to spend some money on unit and it could be nice! We read the reviews after we left and most said what I just stated!!! We will not rent this unit again. Beach always nice there! Complex could also use some upgrades ie: lighting in parking garage . Owner needs to read his reviews. I’m a general contractor and have several rental units. This unit has not been maintained are been looked after for years. Half bath looked like someone left an animal in it and wasn’t very clean. Good luck with good reviews in the future?

Nothing fancy but nice and clean. Bed could use to be replaced. Was worn out with some dips. Rest of unit was perfect for what we needed. Great location.

Great property. View is perfect. This unit is a bit beat up and the bathroom was not the cleanest. Plus bring your own Toilet Paper. They had a quarter of a roll in one bathroom and none in the other. Otherwise manager was easy to reach and great location.

Overall it was wonderful

We had a wonderful time for our long weekend trip. Charlie was AMAZING and great to work with - not a bad thing to say. The location was everything we needed. Our only complaints were that the couch was very uncomfortable/worn down and the bed had a slope on the side by the window. I would wake up feeling like I was falling off. It was an awesome time and we are very grateful that we stayed there!

Some cleaning and replacements

Great location. Could have been a little cleaner. The dishwasher Needs replaced as it did not clean properly. After washing dishes are still dirty. There is a smell in the main bathroom. Location and Phoenix X property are great. Pool is awesome and not a very far walk to the beach.

Convenient

Good location. Elevators are quick. Staff is friendly. Room could use some updates as there is rust on the dishwasher. Bathroom in the master smelled like sewage. Old popcorn ceiling and needs painting. The mattress in the master bedroom slept like a dream. Very comfortable. The mattress on the pullout couch could use an update as well. We had a nice time.

Adequate condo

The condo was ok for our purposes. There were some things that need to be fixed, i.e., a missing shelf bracket in a kitchen cabinet, dishwasher did not clean dishes, toilet paper holder loose in the bathroom, missing towel bar, couch in poor condition. Fortunately, these were minor inconveniences.

Nice place to vacation

Unit was mostly clean, but found a fake eyelash in washing machine. Dishwasher has lots of rust on the outside and does not clean dishes, needs replaced. Master bed was very comfortable, but pull out couch was AWFUL, it needs replaced. There were two beach chairs but badly rusted and broken, unusable. The location and view was awesome. We really did enjoy our stay, the pool and hot tubs were just what we needed and walking to Flora Bama was perfect! I would definitely come back again!

Needs Some Updates

Location to the beach, just steps away and restaurants was great, however the unit itself needs updating. The bedding had obvious blood stains so did the extra one in the closet. The carpet in the bedroom was dark and questionable. The couch was worn out, seriously needs an update. Kitchen utensils were minimal. We way overpaid for this stay.

Great location, friendly staff, we enjoyed it!

The property is in a great location right next to the Flora-Bama which is where we wanted to be. The beach was beautiful, pool was very nice and staff was so family. The condo worked good for us, with full kitchen, regular coffee maker, toaster, parking on the same floor, etc. Being subject to salt air there was rust and such. Could it have used a few touch-ups? Yes. Is the place rented to people who may not take care of it as I would since “it isn’t ours”? Yes. But we were not there to sit in the room so it worked for us just fine and plan on renting it again next year!

As advertised

Stayed in this unit for seven day vacation with a friend. Everything about the condo was as advertised. Check in was easy and location was perfect. The sofa bed was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this unit if you have someone sleeping on the sofa. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We went out on the balcony early one morning for coffee and ended up locked out after we closed the sliding glass door. I was thankful I had my phone to call for help. It took about an hour to get back inside between the call and getting the door opened. The staff told us this happens more often than you would think but not necessarily in just this unit. I would stay here again but only if the sofa bed was updated.

Phoenix 10 605 was not ready to rent someone should do a walk thru with owner before he rents it out

We love phoenix X but won't rent 605 again light bulbs burnt out microwave handle broken tub drain slow it was like taking a bath towel bar in 1/2 bath broke off was under sink smelled musty all clean clothes were clean when I left washing then again smell musty at home table on patio was cracked sofa was so broken down could not sit on it 2 bowls someone used as ash tray burnt marks manger said this was owner first time renting did anyone walk thru with him we spent good money staying there never again at 605 if we come back will rent the one we rented 2 years ago bad booked last year but had to cancel due to my husband needing major back surgery. We live staying at phoenix X but was disappointed. On the plus side the kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots and pans but no hotpads.

Good Vacation

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was really easy to check in and out. We stay in Orange Beach a lot and love the location. This condo was convenient to everything and literally next door to the FloraBama if you’re looking to go there. The condo itself was pretty good. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We slept great. The sofa was comfy. The kitchen was pretty good and had the necessities to get by. The balcony was great especially with the chairs and table. We sat out there and ate out there. The condo was clean overall, however we did notice a large water/mold spot over the shower. There are also water spots on the ceiling in the bedroom as well as what looks like mold on the ceiling in the living area. This was a little worrisome and should definitely be looked into. The bathroom could definitely use a deep cleaning, but like I said was generally “clean.” There were towels and they did the job but could definitely be replaced - very small and some coming apart at the seams. This condo was a good price, and we did enjoy or vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Phoenix X is a great location, right next to FloraBama. This particular condo needed some work and updates. We had to keep the air set below 70, because there was an awful mold/mildew type smell that was VERY STRONG. Both bathrooms had an odor many times that smelled like a sewage issue. There were only 2 tiny pillows on the king size bed and very cheap sheets. The couch in the living room sinks in the middle and not very comfortable to sit on. It also felt sticky/humid. The clean towels provided had long black hairs stuck to many of them and didn't feel clean. The walls have been touched up in places and need to be painted. It just feels overall not very well taken care of. We will probably not stay in this particular condo again, even though we do like the location.
