Vacation stay in June

We love staying at this property. It has plenty of room for our family and we are in close proximity to my sisters lake house. If we have a question while we’re staying at the home, property owner Lee is very accessible. We very much appreciate that Lee trusts us to take good care of his home while we’re there. We’re hoping to return next year

Lake House in Gravois Mills

My family had a fantastic time staying at Lee's rental home. The home is very spacious and has everything you need. We love staying here. Owner Lee is very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. We had absolutely no concerns this past week. Everything was great!! Looking forward to returning next year. Thank you Lee, Marilyn

family vacation

Property manager, Lee Hammer was very helpful when we had any questions. He responded immediately to my text messages. The house was beautiful and had all the amenities for a fun filled family vacation at the lake house. We will definitely request to book a week vacation next year at this home.

Fantastic Vacation

We had a fantastic vacation and this property provided plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The cove was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting on the dock and swimming right there! Would absolutely stay at this property again!

The 48mm

Very nice place. Lots of room for family of 10. Owner was very quick to respond with any problems. Had a little trouble with the AC . Owner tried to get someone out there quickly but couldn’t until after we left but the owner refunded us $100 for the inconvenience. Would suggest only part that was a little hard doing was that we brought a pontoon boat & the loading/unloading dock was tight getting in the boat to the water. Took a few tries but finally got it. But overall good place to stay on a quiet cove.

Spacious

Very spacious property. Accommodated our family of 14. Lake access was excellent. Life jackets a must. Initial arrival not welcoming, I corrected this with the property owners leaf blower. There was an initial issue with the coffee makers, the homeowner corrected this. The hot water tank for the master bathroom was not functioning. Homeowner called a plumber. Recommends a new hot water tank. We never had adequate hot water in this bathroom during our stay. Personally I feel that this property should have a local property manager to ensure its “guest ready” after each turnover.

We had family here from Pennsylvania, Iowa & Nebraska….plenty of space and the dock area was excellent!

Fabulous

We had a wonderful family of 12 vacation. Fabulous fishing, kayaking, and a safe place to swim. The house was very spacious, comfortable and accommodating. We only left the property to go to Jacob’s Cave. Thank you!

Perfect for Large Groups

Check in was a breeze. Owner is very responsive. Due to a miscommunication, the cleaning crew hadn't cleaned prior to check in. We called Lee and the crew arrived shortly while we hung out on the dock. The dock was large enough for two ski boats and two wave runners. It was very convenient to launch right there on the property. Large kitchen made meal prep easy. The very large refrigerator located in the kitchen does not have a freezer, but the two in the garage have plenty of space. The cove is quiet. Would definitely stay here again if it's available next year.

Family get away

We went for 5 days to celebrate a family birthday. We wanted to get away safely and this home was perfect! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and the dock during the day and around the fire pit in the evenings. The home is beautiful and well maintained. Our cell phone service was not Good which made it difficult to call to schedule anything. We had to drive to the highway before we could make any calls. The owner was very helpful and responded to quickly to any of our questions. This is a large home with a lot of space in a nice quiet cove. I would definitely recommend this property for large gatherings.

Great Place!

This place was great for a large group of adults. There's plenty of space for everyone to gather. The outdoor space is what really sold us. There's a flat backyard to play yard games (cornhole/washers/etc) and a very nice firepit for everyone to sit around. This is a very quiet part of the lake.

Great Stay!

Group of 12 men. Plenty of space for us. For all guys, a couple blow up beds may be required if not wanting to pair up in beds, but there is plenty of room. We never felt crowded. Great kitchen, great deck, and great dock. The set up of the house was very unique and we had a great time. Thank You!

Lots of space!

We enjoyed our stay! There were 12 in our group and plenty of room for everyone. The layout of the house is very unique and made for great Hide and go seek. We enjoyed the quiet cove and large dock for swimming. I didn’t see in the description that this was a pet friendly home, but there have definitely been dogs there. The couches need a good cleaning and smelled of dog. The pool table has issues and all the balls roll to the middle of the table. Overall it was a great stay!

Great Lake Cabin!

We had a great experience! The house is roomy and the kitchen is fully stocked! The dock is really nice and is a great place to swim. The cove is beautiful and is a no wake zone. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful lakefront house with awesome dock but unusual bedroom setup

Beautiful home, right on the lake with an awesome boat dock. Owner was very responsive to our inquiries. Could be great for the right group, but the bedroom setup didn’t work well for us. Three of the bedrooms have an unusual configuration. You go downstairs to access two queen bedrooms. Then, go through either of the queen bedrooms to a small hall, which leads to a full bath, & the third (full) bedroom. The only access to the full bedroom is thru one of the queen bedrooms. I guess this would work for a family, but didn’t work well for our group of adult couples. Also, only the full bedroom had an AC vent - the two queen bedrooms didn’t have AC vents, so if the doors were closed, no AC in those rooms. There is a small window AC unit in the area that leads to the queen bedrooms, so you could leave the door from this entry hallway, or the door from the hallway to the bath/full size bedroom open to get cooling from the AC. The (king) master bedroom is huge. The master bath isn’t attached to the master bedroom - not a problem, just thought it worth mentioning. The master bed, loft bed and master bath are accessed from the utility room. The (queen) loft bedroom is upstairs from the utility room – no door to completely close off, but still fairly private; has its own half bath. The loft bedroom was on the warm side (probably cool in the winter) – they provided a fan to help cool, but be aware of this if you’re hot natured. The home has two TV’s – one in the living area, and one in a game room, which also has a pool table and futon. (None of the bedrooms had TV’s.) The living & kitchen area were great. Large gas stove, two ovens, large center island. Refrigerators (one inside & two in garage) didn’t have ice makers, but there were two stand alone ice makers available. We hadn’t used these before, but they worked fine. Also no disposal – this was hard to get used to. The deck was really great, and the dock was where we lived for most of our stay. Lots of lawn chairs, and blue tooth speakers (be sure to turn on the power to the dock from inside the house.) Nice quiet cove, good for swimming, floating and fishing. We had a really great time and the place did work out for us. However, we probably would have looked for a different house if we had known about the setup of the bedrooms.

Great time in the Ozarks!

Right on the lake. Great boat dock. Large spaces for gathering a big group. Very clean. Nice kitchen. Perfect location. Big patio with great views . Extra large fire pit. Had a great time!!

Lovely house on the lake

Beautiful house right on a nice quiet cove. The house was huge, had everything we needed, and fit the family perfectly. The owner responded with every question I had prior to the stay and during very quickly.

Spacious, great yard!

We had 13 people in our group and loved the isolated location and all of the outside space! The cove was extra quiet the week we were there due to few neighbors, so it was extra nice. For next year - would love to have a bigger table in the dining room and maybe some bunk beds or something added to the master or the loft upstairs to have more beds to keep people from sleeping in the living room. Over all, we loved this place!

Beautiful Home Perfect for 2 Families!!!

This home is great for a large group or 2 families. All the amenities you need for a great vacation. Decks and dock are wonderful enough space to fish from multiple locations and to bring in a rental boat. Home has enough area for everyone to be separate or to come together for a meal. Master bathroom is unbelievable, you will not believe the size of the shower or tub then walking onto the heated floor. Amazing Then the kitchen is perfect for cooking large meals for the whole family. Only improvement we could think of would be a griddle for the kitchen. Light switches are a little confusing to figure out what operates what. Only a minor issue. Location of home is approximately 20 minutes to the nearest town with groceries or fuel. Nearest boat rental is 50 minutes away. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends or family.
